Which Angel?! Mugler Angel Eau Croisiere + Angel Nova Flanker Perfumes Fragrance Perfume Blind Buys

Do you love OG Mugler Angel EDP? Or are a new Angel fan with the 2019 lighter, brighter version of the EDT? Or are you one of those people who run a mile from the patchouli bomb full stop? Whichever you are, you might be interested in checking out a flanker... especially now things are warming up (here in the northern hemisphere at least).
Here I review two recent purchases / gifts, I'd been trying to decide between the two for a while but they are so different that, serendipitously, I ended up with both. I love Mugler perfumes, I seem to have a lot from that house now.

By the way... I signed up to a perfume no buy on 1st Feb with Paola Bianka's channel. This was originally scheduled for 1 month, but it is still going strong. Is a birthday gift technically cheating though? Maybe it is! Ironically, I was so addicted to buying fragrance that I have two more perfume blind buys to share with you in a future video, so stay tuned... I feel like two months cold turkey is enough now LOL...

Great video and comparison, I love both of these and would re-purchase in a heartbeat! Angel Nova is the one that my daughters always steal, that bottle is being used at an alarming rate!! 👍😎

This sounds like the notes are up my alley but I'm trying really hard to get samples first. The Nova bottle is gorgeous!
I had a sample of nova first. Wasn't sure at first but soon decided that it was for me. I think I've decided that I prefer nova of the two. It's so bright feeling!

Excellent description of eau croisière Claire! I also feel the same way about fig and all the different nuances It takes. You make me excited to try it out when it gets warmer.

Fluorescent rose 😍 yes, over the top Mugler 💝 and the dry down in clothes is so amazing.
@@CharlotteRossx I can't decide how long it lasts on skin at all but I feel it's nowhere near what it is on clothes. I definitely have some soda pop scent memory going on with Angel Nova. Lots of childhood summers flood back. Thanks for watching and for your support. 🙌

I was about to blind buy the original angel before but i changed my mind when i read some of the negative reviews about it, i cant be able to sniff it first because i cant find it here in the shops in our place.

I wouldn't blind buy Angel! I agree many people do not like it! I have a vintage bottle so mine is the older formulation which I think is stronger than the current EDP. I still think most people prefer the EDT. I would go with a flanker though, they are much safer buys. 🌹
Looking at the notes of angel nova I think it’s closely similar to MK sexy blossom minus the akigalawood... I’m not really interested with the original but this one, I’d like to try a decant first🙂 great video as always💕

Haha! Yep! I actually love artificially flavoured things. I know you aren't supposed to say that any more, but I guess I grew up in the 80s and 90s when everything was artificially flavoured! 🙈

I havent tried any of the angels (original or flankers) so this video is very helpful as I am trying to venture into buying at least one to try out. I might go for one of them to add to my summer rotation. I will have to get my nose on one of them to decide

I love both of them! They last me two full days on clothes. They also give me compliments every time I wear it. I know it's not in there, but Eau Croisiere 2020 has notes of coriander to me. It's odd, bit smells lovely fresh and sweet.

Had a free sample of Nova included in another purchase I made. I really don’t like it. I threw it away after one spray. I did blind buy the Eau Croisiere after watching your video, and I’m relieved to say I much prefer it to the Nova. I’ve managed to try the 2019 Angel edt now the shops have reopened, so I have that on order as I loved it.
I think Nova is love or hate for sure. I wasn't impressed when I first sprayed it but I kept trying it and ended up really enjoying it but it takes no prisoners! It feels very brash. The Eau croisiere is lovely, so glad that you like that! I wore that one on Monday and enjoyed it. I've not tried the Angel 2019 EDT. I went looking for it today after work but the shop assistant just informed me they were closing in 5 mins when I asked to try it, so I guessed that was a no and left! 😂 I'll try again next week 🤷♀️

It's a really pretty bottle. I know this is an unpopular opinion but I actually prefer the lay flat stars too! 🤷

Hey Claire. I was searching through to find Angel Flanker reviews. . And here you are 😊. I've got an itch currently for literally trying all the flankers 😅. I love my Angel edt, and recently blind bought Nova edp which was an instant love! Right up my street. . Didn't even realise there's a edt. Have you tried that one? Is it very similar. The edp is very intense and almost obnoxious, though i do really love it. I've got my feelers out to find the discontinued Fruity Flair, wish i had known about it when it was available. Fantastic reviews, really enjoyed it. Oh, and I've also got Womanity. 👍👍
Haha, this is an old one! Do you know what? I love Nova too and Jon absolutely hates it 😂 I've threatened to wear it if we ever meet 😂 it's so in your face for sure. I wore it two Sundays ago and I could still smell it on Thursday despite changing all my clothes 🤣 I've not tried the EDT, it's meant to be a bit lighter I think and more citrussy (? Not checked). I do also have Eau de Star if you would like to try that let me know, it is a summer angel, the patchouli is strangely the top note. It's upside down Angel 😂

Ooh I wonder, is the sample the EDP? The EDP is love or hate. The EDT I think is lighter, might be easier to like. The flankers are much more approachable. I'd be really interested to hear what you think! 😘
@@dr.claire.perfume it is the EDT. I kind of like it but occasionally get a moment of "do I though?" Mostly it seems ok though! 😄

The Angel Eau Croisiere had to grow on me. When I first got it, it smelled too strong of Mango but now I’m able to tolerate it. I look forward to wearing it in the summer. I have not smelled Nova yet. I’m going to wait until I can get to a store to smell it. Great video! Be Well!
Thanks for watching Erica! Yes Eau croisiere was a bit stronger than I was expecting on the fruit, whatever the fruit actually is! It changes for me! Nova is fizzy. Not sure I know your taste well enough to be able to guess your opinion but I'd be very interested to hear it when you do try it 🥰 also hope things are ok where you are. Here lockdown will slowly lift in staggered stages. Next Monday we can meet with one other person in a garden 😁

I was surprised by how bright nova feels. I like that croisiere is a moving target, I am never sure what I will smell which day.

I have tried the original angel, it choked me and give me headache... I just need to endure few hours before it gets to the dry down which I like. I would love to try the other flankers given the chance but the bottles are beautiful..😍

Well, Angel... I like it but a bitter sweet one.
I think I've tried both Croisisers and they were OK in their own way.
What is this Angel Nova? A mix of nightmare and horror? Yes indeed and artifical? I find that so hard to believe. You got to the end of a 1.5ml sample without needing special treatment and heavy antibiotics?
I'm bright and optimistic for sure. I think I'll have to buy two bottles of Nova 😂

Eau croisiere 2020 I sent you I think and Lizzie sent the 2019 version. They are both good for me. A bit tropical.
I know angel is a bit difficult for you, I like the vintage version but the new one verges on body odour at points for me.

Angel EDT is a great choice, I actually prefer it to the modern EDP, it's one of the few apple fragrances that really appeals to me and absolutely! I think you could definitely mix them, they are both fruity, but I think maybe you'd have to be light on the trigger with Nova./ As it's very strong! Thanks for watching 🥰
Me and my wife went to the store and I told her to smell these. Don't really looked at wich flanker or any like that. But both where a no for her. She had la belle edp on her hand and really liked that one. So maybe it would have been diffrent if she hadn't

Eau croisiere gets a lot of hate which puts me off. Angel Nova is a people pleaser in my opinion.
I don't think there's anything controversial about eau croisiere! I've seen a few people say they don't like it though, so yes I totally understand why you would feel wary! Angel Nova is mass appeal for sure but I still love it because it is different to other things that I've tried. I know it doesn't smell like it, but nova makes me think of bubblegum, it's something that is just fun. I am happy with both of them 🤷 thank so much for watching 😘

Yes I can't imagine you liking Eau croisiere and I'm even not sure that Nova is grown up enough for you! It is punchy though so that's a tick. I have never tried the EDT, I think I am missing out too. I hope you if you get it you do the comparison! 💕
