this reminds me of when i was a kid living in Egypt and I had a collection of these we would call them Nahlas and we would have these tournaments that ranged fro who can do the most tricks or who can land them on the most impossible places and if you won you would get a free one to add to your collection
Same in mexico we make a circle and put our trompos in and from a certain distance each guy trow treir trompo so it can hit the ones in the circles or one vs one same with canicas (marbles)
I remember when i was a kid we have to make our own trompo from the strongest piece/type of wood there is and have a trompo fight.. Breaking trompos and sht😂
