- Whats shaking homies today I got some budget spin tops up for unboxing and review. So these are some cheap spin tops I got off amazon. These are the 3 Pack JUMBO COBRA Spin Tops made in mexico. I got 3 for 13.99. These are actually pretty good beginner spin tops and are very durable I have dropped it alot and it is fine. Where the fuck has this been my whole life, spin top tricks are so cool looking
When I was a kid, we used a slip knot for our finger and just a knot for the top. We didn't have fancy buttons or rings. I had a top that was a whistler. It had holes drilled in the top so when it spinned, it whistled. Great toys.
Whistler create drag and resistance. That's why these don't have them. But I think they are cool though

I got this when I was 14 in Mexico , these trompos are really good 3 years later and still spinning like a champ and very durable

There is no end to this dude and the casual ways he does his magic.
I am a hardcore top thrower and my recommendation is wood tops there the most durable but they are heavier so thats a weak point if you like stunts but if you want more enduring wood top is your go

I haven’t used one since I was 14. 4 yrs passed came back to Mexico and went to a flea market and instantly bought one for $35 Pesos. Obviously I sucked at it cuz I haven’t used one in 4yrs. In 3 hours I instantly got the hang of it and know I know like 2-3 tricks. I really like them, they can take a beating
I played with wooden tops as a kid 4th grade we would make points longer to break other tops was the best feeling to break a piece off ur friends tops...red,green blue ,yellow were the only colors...memories!!!

In the Philippines we fight with trumpos but not like beyblade the win condition is to destroy your opponents trumpo but out trumpo is wood and in the Philippines we dont have the thing that helps tie the string

When I was younger and I want to Mexico the second time I got that same one the Blue version and I still have it and I need to make a string for it but that other one that you made we don't have a drill so I kind of need help on how to make it by hand cuz I lost the other string cuz of my siblings of course

We used to play crack the top when I was a kid. Great fun, of course the tops were wooden. We'd throw them hard at each others tops trying to split them.

in malaysia we called it gasing...it made from wood n the nail was real n very sharp...very exciting
I am over 86 and I remember our tops were wooden .some with spikes and some with a ball bearing tip the spikes were good for splitting the other kids tops

Iam new to tops so i got some plastic tops and they are easy then i got a small wooden top and when i try to wrap it to spin the string keeps sliding off and i can't get it to stay on the top what can i do is the paint to slippery for the string.

Ok the point on this spinning tops is to try and break each other the one without breaking wins that's how i played it as a kid. And the string is not an issue its the crap u put on it
Actually stock string can get too thick really fast and is better to make you’re own, also the ring and button don’t really affect it
