I got a 2000 series because it comes with a water filter already installed but the 3000 and up series I find a bit superfluous. There's nothing those offer that you can't do on the cheaper ones, except it takes a bit more work instead of having things "automatic". An interesting hidden feature is setting the water temperature. By default it's se to medium.

For the past 6 months, my machine automatically brewed smaller cups. I can still adjust the size manually each time however id like to know how to set it to brew smaller cups automatically
Page 10 of the instructions for the machine say to remove the milk frother before dispensing hot water (at 5:35 you left it attached). I'm not sure if leaving it on makes a difference though.

I wanted to try the coffee scoop, made sure it's one cup. Pressed the flavor button thing till the scoop showed up, and then pressed the play button but only hot water came out. No coffee. I had placed coffee one scoop in the scooper window thing. By the way, can you put more than one scoop once I get it to work?
Also, the coffee doesn't taste like the pot coffee we make at home daily. It's way weaker. How do we make the coffee stronger, or set it to where it uses more coffee
My machine made only one weak coffee with the ground beans and now as soon as I turn the machine on it says it’s out of beans and it doesn’t let me do anything at all, it keeps asking to put beans inside, but I don’t have beans, I just want to use the ground coffee that I already put in. Dumb machine.

Awesome, I love mine and so does my daughter. My coffee and caffeine consumption has gone through the roof with this machine. I love iced coffees right now.
Mine is having issues from day one, keeps saying it’s out of water when the tank is full. I have to slam that tank in very hard to make that light go off, pretty much after every cycle. It spills water on the counter when you slam it with a full tank. Not happy.
I am not sure how well this would hold up to that type of volume, I know it works great for a family and a few a day but I they are also not made like the commercial ones with higher quality and more expensive parts to withstand the load.
Those type of machines are highly recommended for people that want to have their coffee ready just with a press of a button . Don’t expect to have the perfect espresso.
Yeh you can keep that Philips junk , got one and lasted 4 months and then major failure , what a waste of money , never going to buy something from Philips again . 🤮🤮👎👎👎👎

i would use the steam function to clear any milk residue and then remove the nozzle and pour some hot water. Then clean the nozzle and put it back in.

In order for the coffee scoop to work...the coffee setting has to be on one cup...

these are on sale everywhere as discontinued. but same guts as the 2200 and 3200 so I got one and love it! Pls take the sticker off your water tank.

Why is there so little coffee poured?
because its an espresso machine so made more for espresso shots and not cups of coffee.

Sorry the aqua cleaner isn’t necessary ?
You do not have to have it, it just helps reduce the need to clean and descale later depending how your water is.
Can you use the Europe machines in US?
Normally no unless you have the adapters. This is a US version I show though.
We are thinking of buying this one but a lot of reviews mention that this machine brakes after some time , is it reliable ?

Because it is weak.
The espresso pulled seems weak
It's very weak, it does not grind the beans to fine espresso powder it's very coarse even grinder on lowest setting
