    I bought the 5400 Philips. The first one lasted 2 days and stopped working. I received a 2nd one and it didn't work at all. Maybe the 3200 is a better machine but they both look pretty much the same.

      Entire philips lineup are the same, the brew component are identical. The only difference is the number of drinks they are programmed to make. I currently have 5400 and it's been working for 2 years straight now

    I’m looking for a bean to cup machine. I came across to see Philips Lattego vs Delonghi Magnifica S. Price is quite different between the two models. Normally I’d drink Americano, however latte from time to time. Would you still recommend Lattego?

    • @RomanDoes
      @RomanDoes  18 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @nitiwadeechanasongkram3480 anything to do with milk is easier to clean with Philips LatteGo. So for me being one lazy ass when it comes to dishes and cleaning overall, I kept the Philips machine, though I liked milk froth better on the Delonghi. Even for occasional milk drinks, I think Delonghi managed to overengineer the milk mechanism

    Something to keep in mind is that the Philips brewing component is known to have a problem with spillage. If you grind more oily beans, it will eventually spill over in greater amounts.

    Good video! What do you think of the quality of espresso and coffee between the 2?
    I just happen to be in the market for one on Black Friday. I’m between the Magnifica Evo and the lattego 4300.

    • @RomanDoes
      @RomanDoes  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      The coffee taste on the output is the same, at least to my taste buds. I tried the same beans, did similar grind settings and honestly I can't feel the difference. One thing I noticed about the brew group, on dinamica it spits out pucks almost dry (which is a good thing) while on Philips pucks are moist. So technically brew group on Dinamica has better pressure on it, but when it comes to the taste - no difference.
      So I decided to go with ease of maintenance for lattes and picked Philips.

    Hi, Roman Is there any differences between Saeco And Philips machine. If we compare philips 5400 and Saeco GranArome, Which machine can make better espresso or milk froth ?

    • @RomanDoes
      @RomanDoes  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @sovrano111 hey! I cannot say much about Saeco as I haven't tried it, but Philips owns it and if you watch Saeco machine maintenance video it shows that the brew group mechanism is the exact same brew group you get with Philips machines. So I would assume coffee is identical. The only thing I would have hard time guessing is the milk froth as it uses similar approach to what Delonghi has.

    I don't want to warm my coffee in microwave.

    • @RomanDoes
      @RomanDoes  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's either you have high heat tolerance, using super cold milk or your machine is faulty 😀 I suggest you measure the drink temperature so you have a reference point to start investigating from

    Hi, what do you think of the grinding system on philips? We have one philips machine in our family and i noticed that delonghi is way quieter in terms of grinding the coffee beans than the philips one. Although we have the philips 2200 series but compared to the delonghi magnifica s, the philips has way too loud grinding system in my opinion. Thank you for your answer.

    • @RomanDoes
      @RomanDoes  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      I wouldn't say there is a big difference, you would have to put both machines at least side by side in the same spot to really test it for your setup. In my case I don't recall grinder noise being an issue.

    • @RomanDoes
      @RomanDoes  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @isaacmubanda3753 I never dealt with it, I'd say look into commercial grade machines something similar but smaller like they in coffee shops. Main reason why this is a bad idea in my opinion to use these is the cleaning. These will take a lot of time to maintain. I'd rather get something like this for a coffee shop and do cleaning on a spot than deal with any of these automatic ones as they will get messy.
