Great pictures. The photo at 3.25 at Gold mohur has me in the lower left corner with my brother Dave next to me. The girl above me I think is Wendy Hayes. Great memories. Thanks. Alan Mather
Yes it is Wendy, I am her husband. Do you know there is an Aden page on Facebook called Aden British School Pupils to 1967 which has lots of photos and banter.
Aden was beautiful before, and now do not be shy, talk about it everywhere. I am looking for it. Now it is living in conflict. Why is it not ruled by its sons, the unity regime, and Sanaa is trying to destroy it and take it again? Be with Aden in international forums, representatives of the Transitional Council around the world, search for them, to reach your solidarity with Aden.
Really enjoyed your fantastic photos and memories of Aden during that period. Some really lovely photos amongst them - Aden airways shots were great as well as beach, harbour scenes and family times. It's great that you shared these as they are well appreciated and they bring back some great memories. Cheers
Martin Williams l enjoyed too the past memories of Aden. During those days my dad was one of the Aden airways employees. In 64 l was four years. And as an infant in 67 l rememberd the explosions, the bullets and the riots in the streets of the city. At early 67 we were flown to North Somalia and had already taken one of the last trips done by Aden Airways ( Dc-3 Docota ).
I'm from aden , thank you so much for this pictures ❤❤❤
Great pictures that recall so much of a hot, far away land. Thank you for sharing them.
Looks so idyllic. Hard to reconcile those images with the troubled place my Dad told me about after her served there with the RAF in 1965-66.

What brought our car plate (Yafa Al-Sahel) Haha I was hoping to invite you, but Aden is in a state of war against North Yemen
Brings back happy memories of Aden in the sixties.
