    I visited Sanna old city in September 2010 and left my heart there. The most beautiful place in the world is Sanaa. I love my homeland.

    My Grandmother fled from Somalia to Yemen in the late 1980s and she said she was treated really well in Sana'a.

    I lived and worked in Yemen mainly Sana'a for 7 years in the early 1980's. Best years of my professional life. Very humble and down to earth people to deal with.

    I lived in Yemen, Sanaa as a kid!!! I was there for 2 years. Im now 29. I have such great memories of being there. Wish I could go back in time

    Does the city exist in same way in 2020 also under Houthi? Have the buildings been destroyed now? Have the life styles of the people changed now ? Please clarify. thanks.

      not really not a lot have change yea some building got destroyed from Saudi Arabia airplanes but there is still a lot of building that still good and the building that got destroyed could get fixed if the war end but Yemen is really poor now

      it's been 8 years since the war started and it doesn't seem like anything have change I think it might take long long time until it end I won't be surprised if the war last for at least 30-40 years

      i can say that the demographics is like 70% shia
      most of sunni like immigrants from the other provinces of yemen because it's the capital of yemen

    I visited Sanaa in 2007 once with my family but couldn’t see anything, I slept all the way in the car and can’t remember anything 🥲
    I spent the whole trip crying and scared coming from Dubai.
    I regret it to this day.
