Initially, I didn't understand why Hammerstorm was bored fighting the undead during that battle. Boredom seems like a weird feeling to be feeling while physically fighting in the middle of a battle. Then I thought maybe he was bored because the battle was at a stalemate. But when I thought about it some more that didn't make sense. The feeling that would be provoking is frustration. When you said the actual reason, it made total sense. He was bored because he wasn't being challenged. None of them were able to hurt him, and none of them were skilled enough that he had to exert himself to kill them. While, as a general, you'll want every fight to be as lobsided in your favour as possible, if you are a warrior looking for worthy opponents, nothing is worse than too easily defeated enemies. And this wasn't a quick kill before he could move on to an enemy who could put up a decent fight against him, which a warrior looking for challenging opponents would prefer. This was a, seemingly, neverending stream of weak enemies. Hours of fighting an opponent that was no challenge at all. Of course he was bored. There wasn't even the risk of him eventually getting worn down through attrition. There was no risk in this at all, for him. I think it's cool that he's the only character that has a fear effect on undead. And that it's because he fights like them. This is also the only time I can recall someone swearing to wipe out a race because the swearer thinks the race are boring opponents.
Harald is so aggresively 80's and I love it. By far the scariest part of his Bane of the Dead though, is that since it removes the "Undead" attribute from.. you know, Undead, they cannot take advantage of all that insane healing they have which can only target Undead.
