Getting a short campaign victory is so incredibly difficult. How the hell am I supposed to reach the northern parts of Naggaroth if every single faction on the donut throws hands at first sight? I think if they swapped the short and long campaign completion goals it would be more manageable.
Morathi really dominatrixed her way to the top and as a Slaanesh follower I respect that. She gets even more powerful in AoS now that she's become the new god of murder.

Gotta say while Morathi wins the prize for most impractical outfit, it's nice that they got her a realistically sized medieval style poleaxe. It's a cool historical weapon, and those need more love in Warhammer in general. Every cool magic weapon doesn't need to be a sword.
Polearms really need more representation. Swords get all the love but they were a sidearm for centuries! Spears, polearms, axes, bow and arrow, those were the main weapons, not swords.

Morathi for all the cringe memes people bring up with her early lore, is one of the better written villains in fantasy and it translated well into AoS. Her flaws being her own love and pride, but also her love and pride that drove her so far forward. She fell for Aenarion because he saw past what so many couldn’t, and trusted her. She slipped back into her darker habits because he chose to save the world at the cost of his life, ignoring her visions like so many before him did. Had she gone with him, it may have been different. In AoS, when she was finalizing her ritual to finally become the god she felt she deserved to be, she was absorbing countless souls that were once consumed by Slaanesh. Ancient souls. One though, she couldn’t absorb. Couldn’t destroy. Aenarions. Her love for him lasted through eons, and it was her undoing to be what she is now - a god yes, but one with two split personalities, and one of them she is losing control of.
The only reason why Morathi has armour is because she once keyed her favourite black ark by standing too close to it during one really cold and lonely winter I wasnt even serious with the "noobs guide when" but boy am I not disappointed another good one xD

Also she's a horse girl whose horse wants to bone her just like everyone else. You can count on one hand the number people people in the world who have resisted her charms. Even the Undead and Lizardfolk are affected by her enchanting beauty. And if you think incest is only a thing around Morathi, read the Malus Darkblade books. Dark elf society is that messed up.

Not only have a one city but also war with Tiranoc which princess will constantly try to harass you until you will be on a braking point and yelling "blood for the bloody handed god" and starting to bumrush to Ulthuan just to capture Tiranoc province and get trapped because Ellyrion will attack you and if you don't have buffer zone as Caledor you will deal with Tyrion.

Its unfortunate how, as WH Fantasy lore expanded and grew, they got better at writing more compelling characters overall, but then Morathi really fell behind, and her character suffered in later editions, where she was reduced to Malekiths bimbo mom-toy. Whereas in earlier editions, she started as a more fleshed out character with a huge amount of her own agency and power. Let’s not forget that canonically, in WH lore, not only did she have direct influence on the whole Elven Civil War and the Sundering, but she had a hand in setting up almost every important religious and magical institution of the Dark Elf society, and even if she does not currently control them directly, she still manipulates and influences them from the shadows, leaving no fingerprints. She was one of the earliest Witch Elves and thus started the entire cult of Khaine, and even if its now nominally ruled by her rival, Crone Hellebron, a lot of priestesses and assassins hold secret fealty to Morathi, who is still counted as one of the Hag Queens, thus being simultaneously part of the cults hierarchy, but also outside and above it. Then she also personally had a hand in founding of Dark Covenants of Sorceresses in Ghrond, these dedicated to Hekarti, goddess of dark magic, and she still holds sway over all supreme sorceresses in the Convent, as she is the first and original practitioner of dark magic, Dhar. And ofc, she semi-secretly leads the Cult of Pleasure which is either a cult dedicated to elven pleasure goddess Atharti, or to Slaanesh itself (or quite probably both, the front being worship of elven deities obscuring it actual Slaaneshi underbelly), which is the route they took in Total War. So she truly is as important to Elven and Dark Elven history and society, as important as Malekith, and not just for being his mom. It really shows Morathi as a supreme manipulator ready to pretend-serve and placate any divine or daemonic patron that will grant her power to further her own goals. She is Warhammer Worlds ultimate warlock-witch in forming all those dark pacts with dangerous supernatural powers.

Morathi, the female Erebus and some person to blame for at least 75% of Warhammer Fantasy’s problems. And when Nagash put her down in AoS was immensely satisfying to read. Too bad she was only humiliated and not killed.
I preferred her heavy metal Maleficent look. But I like how they’ve removed the directly incestuous elements. She makes remarks that could be interpreted as flirtatious, but I read it more as her kind of mocking him, “You’re nothing without me!” That’s why he brushes it off instead of flirting back, if anything he resents her.
I can't see morathi anymore without think about how in the new age of sigmar lore, she got a Pimp slap from nagash while he shouted "BEGONE THOT!!!" When she tried to gain power via seducing the new rulers of each realm of magic. And yes, Malakith did kick her out of the realm of shadows, since he was done with her shit.
