I’ve seen many many of these rug tufting videos but yours stands out due to how much attention to detail you’ve put in!! The trimming in between different sections is so clever. What a professional-looking result. My props to you 💕

Love love love your work! The final results turned out amazing! Once you trimmed the carpet at the end I was scared seeing that might go south but it didn’t it just cleared and became clean! Great work!
I LOVE the way you finished it!! It looks so much more professional! I found some really cheap liquid latex and I will be trying it. It's pretty runny. But that's how I've seen professional carpets and rugs in India being made (on youtube). Thank you for trying it!
@@AJMAKES137 weird timing. I actually JuST got back from Lowe’s. It was so liquidy I chickened out of getting it. Technically its a poly additive. But it says it’s liquid latex on the website. I thought I’d found the answer. But I’m chicken to buy it. 🤷🏽♀️ I think I’ll actually MAKE a rug or two and worry about that part later. 😂
I've heard the Indian rug makers saying to use liquid latex that is for the make up industry, so brush on latex.. I think that's not so toxic.. I mean it mustn't be since they use it on people's skin... Like the stuff they use to make masks n stuff. Anyway I'm going to start my rug making journey with that.. No way am I game to use these other products after reading about 15 different MSDS! 😱! ☠! Anyway thanks for sharing your process it's really helpful to watch for someone starting out 🙏🤩

You should get a small shopvac because the sucking power is stronger then a normal vacuum
Also keep your pup away from breathing in those fumes! As nasty as they are for you, even more intense for a tiny lil body

Yeah the rug looks sweet but face masks are NOT the equivalent of a respirator for chemical fumes!

Have you tried using an iron to help fold/press the edges down before/during the gluing process? Looks great!
I thought about that, but I don't have an iron 😅 maybe I'll get one eventually
