The Flow they had was litty, but the rhyming and word play was undeveloped. These kids needed guidance and didn't get it from themselves or others. That took away from song structure. Always was a huge fan of Mr. Malik. He was just incredible in every way to me growing up. Later developed a love for Jamal. Not realizing how ruff and raw and rugged he was as well. They complimented each ovah perfectly. Blessings.

All I c win i look at this video is straight love and universal timeless reminders of the importance of everyone sharing their truths (even children sheeeeiiittt especially children) from Uncle Rudy to the little brothers shootin dice...this project this video way ahead of its time...yall dont even remember the blue tape ... fucked me up on so many levels to see this after decades. Much respect to Illegal and the movement that put them before the worlds eyes. Someone knew these children had a story worth telling...someone was right.

I ran into Jamal here in Atlanta a few years ago. I didn't know it was him when I first met him. The second time I met him I bought a CD from him. He pretty cool.

Here’s a gem for you if you didnt know. Check out the song “Tha Points”. For some reason alot of people dont know about it but it features MAAD legends like Jamal, Notorious BIG, Redman, Coolio, Bone Thugs, Busta Rhymes, Big Mike (Ghetto Boys) and more. Its an officla song from The Panther soundtrack (1995) and theres a 9 minute version with way more rappers
