What a flashback! I was working at Best Buy during this time. I actually bought the Panasonic mini dv model above the one listed that year and i still have it. I even recently used it for some family events.
Minimum of 20 units is insane. Now a days I'm sure they have at least 100 in the warehouse for backup. 2005 didn't even seem that long ago....wow, time flies!
Your videos are fun to watch Gil. In those days from that ad I bought the LG phone from Verizon with the full keyboard. I think I still have it somewhere in my house.
Nice I love seeing this old ADS from Best Buy you should do more I like to see more from 2004, 2006, 2007 if you have any Gilbert. Man you are so cool collecting these ads man. Its so good to look back and see how much technology has changed over the past 20 years.
The Atari 2600 was the last video game I ever played,I was never into video games too much,me my ex and kids shared a table top computer,I think in the 90's,we had AOL dial up,it sucked because we could not talk on the house phone while on the computer.
Appreciate the video man. Brings back memories.
Cool video, I worked at Best Buy from 1997- 2000. Wish I kept some ads!
was there a lot of hanky panky there?

Man I wish I had some of these ads, especially from the 90s
Those ads were printed in black and white.
I remember having that Best Buy ad book, I always told my mom to never throw it away... Unfortunately she did lol
Well, it's a good thing I saved it. 😅
@fueledbymusic3 thanks for the flip flop shots, Gilbert.
Good video Gil. Love when you show the stores that are no longer around too, like Circuit City and Toys R Us, etc. 🔥👻
I always enjoy your videos man!
I love when Gilbert shows his feet.
Love these seeing how these ads were back then. Keep em coming Gil! ^^
Imagine if Halo 3 did come out in 2005 with the Xbox360 as it's launch title? That would have made history!
