We Truly Appreciate People like You who Share Vital & Important Info in this Video about Chameleons. Mine Just Passed. So I'm researching a lot before our next one. God bless you.
ive had them both since they were 2 months old and started at that time with free ranging, hand feeding, and hand watering them, also holding them for outside time in the sun, at about 5-6 months they just became really focused on hanging out with me..
I put a small deli cup with distilled water in it inside the incubator and refill it as needed..also the bottom tray of the incubator is meant to hold water as well..just more of a mess than a cup..
Very good morning I am from Colombia I speak Spanish what I write I translated it to English forgiveness spelling, I would like to ask you a question if you can help me, the eggs of chameleon when the time under the light is seen a dark point which is the Form To put the egg in the substrate the point that the dark spoke is the embryo that of there forms the embryo that positions grows the embryo from top to bottom in which part of the egg forms the embryo of chameleon above below the Egg thank you very much
what works for me is to: start incubation at 75 or so, then go down to about 68, 65. then slowly (for about a two weeks) i set it up a degree ech day until i hit 73 or so (some times i skip a few days for each degree increase). but it seems to work well for me, it yeilds hatchlings in about 10 months every time. and they are usually big and healthy.
is this for vieled chameleons because mine just laid and i’m trying to figure out if i should incubate them for 80 degrees the entire time or do the different temp intervals
80 is too hot! You will want to keep them at 68 for the first two months then go to no higher than 73 or so for another few months, then go back down to 68 for one month then slowly increase temp by a degree each following month till they hatch. I use hatch rite, makes it really easy.
@@CameronLangleyy don’t let them get too cold, basically they need to go through a duration mimicking a short winter. 80 can work but I never had success at the higher temps

80% and if I notice shrinking or wrinkles on the eggs increase humidity. But other species will variate a bit.
