All VW's are IRS. Swing axle or double jointed axles. According to the owners manual.

Can you send me the brand and part number of the plastic bushings?

I see that you used wheel bearing grease on the rubber bushings. This seems to me to be the right thing to do, but some say not to lubricate them at all. What are your thoughts?

Any suggestions for putting them back at stock ride height 1) they all came completely out and you barely got any degrees marked., 2) you had to have all the metal bead blasted, so there's no marks now. I basically need to install mine from scratch as if they were never on the car before.

I assume you would need to research what the starting angle should be. Then by turning the inside and outside splines you should find the right Combo to give you the stock ride. Do a search on the Samba.
