- Spring boarding off the award-winning Superego, our new Electro-Harmonix Superego+ synth engine/multi effect pedal raises the bar when it comes to creating synth effects, sound layers, glissandos, infinite sustain and more. Plus, we’ve added a complete effects section featuring 11 effects types, an EXP input for effect parameter control and an EXT jack for a 3-button controller.

The Superego+ is equipped with the following effects:
• DETUNE: pitch detune, EXP pedal controls pitch
• DELAY: warm, analog sounding delay, feedback is preset, EXP controls delay time up to 2 seconds
• ECHO: pristine digital delay, feedback is preset, EXP pedal controls delay time up to 2 seconds
• FLANGE: Electric Mistress style w/filter matrix, rate and feedback. EXP pedal controls rate
• PHASE: Small Stone style phase shifting with rate and depth control. EXP controls rate
• MOD: pitch-based vibrato or chorus. EXP controls rate
• ROTARY: rotary speaker style sound. Depth controls tweeter/horn balance. EXP pedal controls rate
• TREM 1: sine wave tremolo. EXP controls rate
• TREM 2: square wave tremolo. EXP controls rate
• PITCH: pitch shifting effect over a +/- one octave range. EXP controls whammy
• FILTER: resonant low-pass filter. EXP pedal controls frequency
The pedal provides enough sound shaping control to please the most sonically adventurous player and is equipped with Dry, Effect, Attack, Decay, Threshold, Layer and Gliss knobs, plus Rate and Depth knobs for the Effects Section. Four foot-switchable Freeze modes: Moment, Sustain, Auto and Latch, plus a Live Effects mode where the dry signal is routed thru the built-in effects and the internal synth engine is disabled, are included.
The polyphonic Superego+ works with guitar as well as other instruments including bass, keyboards, vocals, drums, etc. and comes equipped with an EHX 9.6DC-200 AC Adaptor.

I've had mine for 3 days now. There are about 5 really good videos out and all are very different. This pedal has amazing capabilites. Learn the pedal and let the imagination take over.

An album FEATURING EFX pedals, the way they're designed to play, and maybe with a few things nobody knew about...even the designers. If anyone can find the hidden...accidental settings or ways of playing, Bill will find them.

If settings could be saved into presets, I'd certainly pay another $200 for this pedal; it's delightfully diverse in its possibilities, and fairly simple to dial in great sounds. Very pro-sounding, lush tones when set properly and working within its capabilities. It's like a keyboard synthesizer without a display.... I guess I'd like a display too. Maybe I'm headed toward an Axe FX at this point. That doesn't take away from the fact this is is a great pedal. I had a Freeze pedal; this is miles above with the tone creation and added in/out/expression. Great work, Electro-Harmonix team!
This looks like it could be a lot of fun live. Certainly usable live, as Bill demonstrates. Electro-Harmonix makes some amazing pedals and prices them very fairly.

Love the video! If you really want to know how well something works, give it to a pro to demo! He showed every parameter available although there are multitudes of fine settings for a wealth of soundscapes. A must-have pedal!

Electro Harmonix aren’t really trendy anymore. They’re not stocked in high volume at all the top of the line trendy boutique pedal shops, but damn, they are still making the best stuff out there. Sound quality is huge, applicability is huge, they have an intuitive workability, solid as a fuck’n rock. I’d be satisfied owning their entire line up, even if it meant owning no other pedals....

Buying the Lester K Leslie rotary simulator was a fantastic buy. Super good quality especially if you have an organ preset with the rotary speed control fast /slow. The pedals speed of rotation is fully modulatable so you can synch or slightly offset the speed which creates an even more gurgley organ effect layered and rich. Kinda soap suds all frothing up. And 3-D

Thinking a little "out of the box" you can use the "snapshot" feature with an expression pedal to give you 22 preset memory locations -
The "HEEL DOWN" snapshot will capture [1] set of 7 knob control settings to save to memory,
and then the "TOE DOWN" snapshot will capture and save a whole different set of level settings from the 7 control knobs,
giving you two saved presets for each EFFECT channel.
This was intended for doing a "sweep" between the 2 settings with an expression pedal,
but you can also think of the expression pedal as a "Heel Down" / "Toe Down" A/B switch for memory presets - 2 per channel x 11 channels = 22 presets ~
