When you were once a kid now grown with white hair just like your grandparents, uncles, aunts, parents.... life gets lonelier and lonelier as you get older without loved ones around..
This song reconnects me with the softer side of life - grass, cows, peace, slowness, babies resting in the midnight blue, that little eye contact with a classmate that lied to save you from a teacher, simplicity.
I realize sometimes simple things makes me happy, people smiling at me, approached talk to me asking for directions or anything, being around people, nostalgic memories flash back because of a certain action or scene that brings me back to my good ol' days. I used to be so isolated I had nobody, now entering college is quite fun i started fresh and talk to as much people as possible and I still have ime to be alone but it feels great having people calling you bro, my name, or to joke with, bowling with, archery with, skating with.
