Carla, idk why there are so many people upset over how someone else lives but you guys did a fantastic job and the kitchen looks great!! Wonderful work ladies ❤❤❤
Always amazing how Stephanie can declutter! My one suggestion would be to swap the pantry cupboard and the plates/bowls cupboard, so that it's closer to the dishwasher - might flow better when you're putting away. And then that whole side of the kitchen is non-food items. Amazing work regardless 👏
I took a sip of my tea and a split second in I almost choked on it, that's a small kitchen? I need to move to LA, that's big compared to mine, I have 2 double cupboards, 2 single cupboards and a draw, space for a small cooker and a washing machine.

It must feel nice to go back to her place and see she has maintained her closet. Her dog is so cute. I was happy when i saw you had posted a new video. Makes me want to declutter right now.
I've always found, the best way to organise the kitchen by standing where you cook, chop, stir, toast, make coffee/tea.... when we moved, my husband helped unpack, and I couldn't work out why the kitchen wasn't working for me, I realised I was walking backwards and forwards to get all the bits I needed, so I reorganised and put things in cupboards where I reach for them, the mixer on the cupboard, the cake making stuff is around it, serving plates in area where I serve up, coffee and toast machines together and the cups and condiments to make it there....if you get what I mean.... now it works again. I hate the little corner cupboards, happily, I have the fold out double door on the corner cupboards now, but yeah I had them, you need a basket that you pull out, and a basket that tucks around the corner. Then you pull one out to get the other, not every little pot or can, etc.... so much better.
So much better! It's easy to become blind to the clutter after you've been living in a space for a while. A few observations: Turntables beat bins for spices and bottles. Two-tiered ones even better. Then you don't have to pull a whole bin out every time you need a spice. And don't forget the backs of the cabinet doors. You can hang things on them like measuring cups and spoons, graters, etc., with Command hooks. That would probably allow you to get rid of the big basket with the utensils in it and free up that counter space. You can also get a rack for the back of a cabinet door to hold the boxes of foil and plastic wrap, which would free up a whole shelf in the cabinet to put a bin for at least some of the items currently in the wooden box on the counter. But even if you keep the foil and wrap where they are, move the shelf above them down so the items on that shelf are easier to see and reach.
I have to disagree about turntables for spices. I used to have my spices arranged like this, but it was a bit annoying especially getting to the spices in the middle. I would always have to go through all the spices to find the one i wanted! 😂 Having a little bin to pull out and have out on the counter is great when you are cooking. If they are labeled on the too, even better.
@@daCubanaqt if she had a double-decker turntable, she probably wouldn't need to have spices in the middle of it. The only ones I have in the middle are back stock for the ones around the edges. She already has a full spice rack on the counter.

Amazing progress in only 4 hrs. 😮 this was a great reset for her and she can always refine as needed along the way. Also for anyone with limited countertops i recommend magnetic fridge organizers & a magnetic paper towel holder.
Thanks to Stephanie for showing us her space so we can be inspired and get ideas for our own spaces. Also so inspiring that she says her brain doesn’t work in this organizing way but is so great at keeping systems in place. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you, Stephanie, for your openness and willingness to allow us into your beautiful home. Thank you, Carla, for the kindness you show your guests in decluttering. I'm really impressed at Stephanie's commitment to keeping her closet in the beautiful state that she has. Your kitchen looks great. BRAVO!
Wonderful declutter and organisation video, the kitchen looks so much better. To those wanting to criticise, if you havent got anything nice to say then dont say anything at all. Be kind.
Dear Carla again you did such an a amazing declutter with Stephanie 🧡 Sure, maby the whole kitchen now needs a good scrub butt I am positive that Stephanie can do that on her own since she won't be overwhelmed by all the stuff ☺🍀
I refused to use one for so long and now have 3 for various items in one of my corner cabinets and one in my refrigerator. So much better. I was silly for fighting it.
Thank you so much for your clients that they are sharing their home and stuff ❤ Ooh look another water bottle 😂 i had to think about Mira from Peeling the clutter away and Bonnie from a Beautiful Mess when they work together at Mira's house . So cute !
Wonderful job Carla! Everyone’s minds work differently and she mentioned how thankful she was to have you there to help. She doesn’t have a lot except her mug collection but as a collector I get that and I think the kitchen design is lacking in drawer space to help organize everyday life stuff.
But there are quite a few cupboards! I just suggested shelf inserts too create more storage space. A nice basket under a shelf insert will easily replace a drawer. I wish I had so many cupboards!
You tailor your work to every client and that's what I love about you! Every client is different, some only needed a little push to declutter and some are only on the first pass of decluttering where less gets decluttered as they're not quite ready for a big change and that's ok! Also all those comments about the cupboards, y'all must not be renters bc as a fellow renter I know the struggle of wear and tear on cupboards lol.
Your intros and outros are better and better, explaining the goals and the end results. We can forget that decluttering is always ongoing. It takes time, consideration, and continual work -- but these sessions you do really kickstart both the process and your client in such positive ways, even in the ones where a ton of stuff isn't shifted away. I always appreciate how gently pushy you can be where it matters, but how practical and respectful you stay about 'their home, their needs.' Congrats on 100k! I've been here a while, on the follower count, and it's great and deserved to see. :D
Wow she's done an amazing job going through her things with you! I think because she wants to have a full dishwasher before running it (which I agree with) means she needs more items than someone like me who doesn't have a dishwasher. And over time she'll be able to see what she genuinely never uses because she'll be able to use all her favourites all the time, which is very exciting!
Congratulations on 100k! Well deserved! I always like how you ask everyone how they use the space; however, I see that the cabinets could have been split up in zones based on function. For example the food and plates cabinets could have switch so all her dishes were on one side near sink and dishwasher and food near refrigerator etc.
Great job! Kitchen videos really help me reconsider my spaces and I’ve rearranged several areas in my kitchen to make better use of the space I have. It’s amazing how just doing a little rearranging makes it possible to fit more items into a space. Decluttering helps so much also. 😊
I’m not big on containers for every item, however, putting small items together like the spices is very helpful. You can take down the container, find what you need and then return it without having to sort through the entire cupboard looking for a certain spice plus they don’t get lost in the cupboard. Also, shelf risers/dividers where you can stack mugs, plates or bowls above each other are great space savers. Sometimes adjusting the shelves up or down helps to make the cupboard spaces work more efficient ie for tall items. Putting tools in a container/basket is easier to store and locate than a bag. 😊
So many judgmental people in the comments! The inside of the cupboards looked cleaner when they were putting stuff back in than when they were taking it out. We saw Carla wipe a shelf with a cloth and the shelf look no different so I’m thinking that the cupboards had experienced some wear and tear. A lot of progress was made in this video and the after was much more organised and decluttered than the before. They achieved a lot in a short space of time and should be congratulated.
Congratulations on 100K, Carla. I've been watching you for several years now and I just enjoy your videos so much. I always look forward to your videos and as soon as I click on it, I hit the like! Your kindness towards and understanding of your friends and clients is what makes you so special. I love the way you interact with everyone and encourage but not pushy towards what should be done. I must admit, my favorities are with your sister and family. Please thank everyone for us for welcoming us into their home where they expose our own little secrets. :) I just don't get people who have to leave negative comments. Didn't their mamas ever teach them if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing.
You two did a great job, the kitchen looks so much better! I was thinking maybe the aluminum foil and baking paper could go in the cupboard next to the tupperware. Then she could use that shelf for the things in her "junk" basket, although it looked like she might need a smaller basket to fit the cabinet. The kitchen tools in the other basket in the corner could go in a smaller basket in the cabinet above, next to the spices maybe? That cabinet looked deep enough. Love your content, Carla, and especially the long form videos like this!
Props to you both for this decluttering if the kitchen. Carla, you’re so encouraging as always and Stephanie, you looked much brighter in yourself as your kitchen was transformed. Plus, the work on the wardrobe has stuck, it looks fabulous after seven months or so. ❤❤❤
It’s so relatable to see someone working through the process. Brave woman. It’s much easier to be brave with such an incredible guide like Carla! Keep going. It gets easier every time
Good job. One thing I would do is to put tea towels and potholders in a basket and in the cupboard with Tupperware/appliances (since it’s best to the stove), or you could hang couple potholders on hooks on inner side of cabinet door and then use the empty to drawer to hold the overflow utensils from the basket on the counter.
Im a mug fiend myself - ceramics are so beautiful and I love having a warm drink at all times! Most days i actively use 2-3 mugs, and I have around 10 in my cabinets, plus a couple seasonal ones.
I would consider swapping the contents of the kitchen tools bin and the tea towel drawer. But it's so satisfying to imagine how much easier her kitchen will be to use! Nice work!
I’m really starting to enjoy all of your videos. I’m pretty new. You’re very patient. I’m a continuously clutter so it’s hard for me to see people keeping things but you make it look so good. I would be worried about bugs. Lol.
I get a small one gallon bucket and mix up some hot water and Dawn Dishwashing liquid. And one good terry cloth washcloth. This is to clean the cabinets inside and out as you empty them.
Yes, the cabinets need finger smudges cleaned off when she has time. Black is hard to keep clean! Otherwise everything looks good. Such a difference once a declutter is done. 👍
The one thing I would suggest, is shelf dividers. Stephanie's shelves are really high. Then there would be even more space for organizing food and plates.
Yes and it looks like she has the ability raise and lower. You could do a shelf in the mug cabinet to put them on one side and then leave the other side open for something else.
Carla, I just want to tell you that your channel is my favorite decluttering and tidying channel since you breakdown the steps and it doesn’t overwhelm. I started my own decluttering journey and you have been one of my inspirations. I thought you guys did a good job decluttering the kitchen. It’s much more functional and everything has its own space.
It looks so much better. I think a lazy susan would work good for that skinny spice cupboard. Even though there are switches in the cabinet over the oven I still used that space for things I don't use often like vases or she could put her tool bag there. Also so much more room in the tupperware cabinet she could fit some more items from her counter she doesn't use as frequently. It's tough with just two drawers. I love having a crock as well to keep the most used larger utensils. Chelsea is so cute with her pink sweater ! 🐶
Congratulations on 100k!!🎉🎉🎉 Your well-deserved fan base is growing! You find the coolest people to work with and do such amazing work. Keep up the great work!
Carla you are a great help when organizing for people. It is hard to go thru someone else’s home and help them figure out what to purge. It looked so nice after you two were finished!!❤ I’m so glad Mac referred us to you!!
Dear Carla, love your Videos. You are always so encouraging and non judgemental. Congratulations on 100.000 subscribers. Just a few ideas to this video. Maybe you two could use some space more functional and create a real junk drawer, so you can hide more. For example the tin foil etc take so much space. Store them in the same cupboard like the Tupperware. The towels near the sink, the potholders with pots and pans. (I could’t see any, but I’m sure she has got a few. So you can use the drawer for daily used items of the „junk container“. The free cupboard can be used to hide and protect the cookbooks. And the „just in case“ things from the box can go to in the back behind the spices. Just a few ideas to optimize the space in the future. Hope this comment does‘nt Sound unkind. Greetings from Germany.
congrats on 100k! very deserved 💖 i feel like the kitchen really does need an overhaul every couple of years because we just use it differently over time but still end up shoving things in the same spaces even though it doesn't always work well for how we are actually using our kitchens lol. i recently started experimenting with putting things in different places and it's made my daily life easier for sure. it's just nice to have a more efficient space since most of us use the kitchen multiple times a day.
Maybe she could get a riser shelf to go vertical with the mugs so she can bring the glasses to same shelf to clear another shelf? I agree with another commenter who recommended putting the junk drawer basket in the cupboard with the tupperware if it fits. Good job! You are so efficient.
A good way to store mugs is turn one upside down and put another mug ontop the right way so you can stack them and they won't fall. Love watching these videos. Good luck 😊
Pretty much the only "tupperware" I have is those round Ziplock clear containers with blue lids. I love that the lids fit both the short and tall containers. I got rid of everything else so I don't have all these odd-shaped containers and lids that don't match. I used all my containers without lids as drawer organizers around the house. The Ziplock containers seem to last pretty well, they can go in the freezer and dishwasher, and the lids lock on tightly so you can use them for soup or liquids, too. It's also easier to keep the drawer organized when you don't have all different shapes and sizes.
It honestly doesn't take long for cabinets to get dirty when you cook a lot at home. Especially a cluttered space is even harder to clean because there is so much stuff in the way. I lived in an apartment with 3 other people and no one else but me would wipe down cabinets so even then I think not everyone is taught/shown how to deep clean.
Suggestion for the countertop tool bin: Put the pot holders and towels in the cabinet below the recipe books. You can consolidate/stagger appliances under there and add in a clear plastic tall, narrow bin for linens/pot holders. A magnetic rack on fridge can be a towel holder also. Get a drawer divider system and make a tool / misc drawer. Much easier to organize and find things. And clears more counter.
You might have gotten there, as I’ve watched only a portion of the video. I have a suggestion for the corner cupboard ❤ There seems to be space in the corner, not easily accessible, to the left of the spices. That could be a great space for seldom used items. Perhaps the tools? Or some back-ups? I’d put them in a shallow basket or on a tray to easily pull the out when needed. If the spices were placed in a basket or on a lazy susan, they would be easy to pull out to access the items behind. Edited for spelling
Another great kitchen clean-up/organization! I wonder if she'll put rolls of wax paper etc into a drawer? I'd love to know if she gets a container or two for under the sink. The tweaking is always interesting. Thanks, Carla. I'm in Atlanta, with relatives in these southeastern states. I needed something to give my mind a break from the devastation that's so heartbreaking.😊😊
That dog is so freaking cute! I love how thorough you are on decluttering. I try to make myself be that thorough, but I get bogged down in decision making.
Carla, I jumped a mile high when your video came on. I LOVE your choice of music while decluttering.
Be kind.
Dear Carla again you did such an a amazing declutter with Stephanie 🧡
Sure, maby the whole kitchen now needs a good scrub butt I am positive that Stephanie can do that on her own since she won't be overwhelmed by all the stuff ☺🍀
Glad you're here with a new video
Thank you!❤
Congrats on the 100K subscribers - happy to be one of them!
Thank you very much!💖💖💖
I used a lazy Susan for my spices. It helped me so much.
I use one for oils, red wine vinegar and our tall pepper grinder. Lazy Susans are great for corralling things and making them look tidy.
I refused to use one for so long and now have 3 for various items in one of my corner cabinets and one in my refrigerator. So much better. I was silly for fighting it.
Thank you so much for your clients that they are sharing their home and stuff ❤
Ooh look another water bottle 😂 i had to think about Mira from Peeling the clutter away and Bonnie from a Beautiful Mess when they work together at Mira's house . So cute !
😂 same
Wonderful job Carla!
I always appreciate how gently pushy you can be where it matters, but how practical and respectful you stay about 'their home, their needs.'
Congrats on 100k!
Great video! Thanks to Stephanie for letting us in. Kitchen declutters are my favorite. ❤
Carla, you are so laser focused and down to earth! No extra fancy containers needed! Love it!
Congrats on 100,000.
Celebrate🎉
Keep them coming!
Thank you Stephanie and Chelsea for opening up your lovely kitchen for us! Lots of great work done!
I was thinking the same! Tbh there was so little in the basket, even her cookbooks could find a space in her cabinets.
Props to you both for this decluttering if the kitchen. Carla, you’re so encouraging as always and Stephanie, you looked much brighter in yourself as your kitchen was transformed. Plus, the work on the wardrobe has stuck, it looks fabulous after seven months or so. ❤❤❤
Loved the episode! More Stephanie projects in the future!
It’s so relatable to see someone working through the process. Brave woman. It’s much easier to be brave with such an incredible guide like Carla! Keep going. It gets easier every time
It looks so nice! When you post Carla, everything stops and I go and watch your video. Congratulations on 100k.
Spectacular job ladies !!!!!! And a BIG WOOHOO to Stephanie for maintaining her closet. 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
Thank you Stephanie for giving us a peek into your kitchen. It's so inspiring and good to keep it real . I need to do my kitchen now!
I would consider swapping the contents of the kitchen tools bin and the tea towel drawer. But it's so satisfying to imagine how much easier her kitchen will be to use! Nice work!
I like your kind respectful and also patient decluttering support ❣️
What a coincidence! I had watched the closet episode once again earlier tonight. The kitchen job was also amazing! Congrats to both of you!
Perfect timing!! Closet still looking great 🤩
Great job! It’s amazing how much stuff we acquire and hang on to. Looks so good!
I thought this! Shelf risers would be great for plates and mugs as they’re really tall cupboards!
Yes and it looks like she has the ability raise and lower. You could do a shelf in the mug cabinet to put them on one side and then leave the other side open for something else.
@@shannonstroud2479I agree. I use the variera bins and shelf risers from Ikea in my tiny kitchen (it’s one short wall) and they’re really helpful.
Stephanie did such a great job decluttering!! Great video as always 💕
Thank you Stephanie and Chelsea for allowing us into your home. The results are great.
These types of videos are so satisfying.
Job well done❣️When are you going back to the garage? Congrats on 100,000 subscribers!!❤️❤️
Greetings from Germany.
congrats on 100k! very deserved 💖
i feel like the kitchen really does need an overhaul every couple of years because we just use it differently over time but still end up shoving things in the same spaces even though it doesn't always work well for how we are actually using our kitchens lol. i recently started experimenting with putting things in different places and it's made my daily life easier for sure. it's just nice to have a more efficient space since most of us use the kitchen multiple times a day.
Maybe she could get a riser shelf to go vertical with the mugs so she can bring the glasses to same shelf to clear another shelf?
I agree with another commenter who recommended putting the junk drawer basket in the cupboard with the tupperware if it fits.
Good job! You are so efficient.
A nice sized kitchen and good results! Congratulations on 100K subscribers!
Thank you very much!❤️❤️❤️
Another fabulous job! Everyone needs a friend like Carla!🌟
A good way to store mugs is turn one upside down and put another mug ontop the right way so you can stack them and they won't fall. Love watching these videos. Good luck 😊
Oh I love it for you Stephanie, that you feel lighter and have more room to breathe. Great job guys! Thank you for the video! ❤
Great idea!
Love how you helped her! I understand it can be so overwhelming, having help to get you organized is absolutely the best! ❤️💕
100k way to go Carla. Stephanie thank you for allowing us into your home, you two did an amazing job xx
Fantastic. This is a great step. Go on and you'll climb all the stairs. Keep going. You got this.
100K!!! WOOOHOOO🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤😊😊😊 Thrilled for you! Adore watching your channel. Love your kind and generous spirit!😊
100k !!!
Congratulations!! Well deserved!!
Play button on the way whohooooo!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Thank you so much!!❤🎉
CONGRATULATIONS ON 100K. You are amazing & so is your content. TFS Good job girls!! 👍 ☮️💜
Thank you so much!!💖💖💖
I used small two by fours stacked up on different levels to raise cans and spices up so you can easily see what’s in the back.
Obsessed with your videos😭
Thank you for sharing the work you did. Great job!! This page and your guests always inspire and motivate me. Have a great day everyone
50 minutes of Carla on a Monday morning merci ma Cherie! ❤
Thank you Stephanie & Chelsea for letting us in your home again. Great job as always Carla, nothing like a neat kitchen to work in ❤👩🏻🍳🍛
Suggestion for the countertop tool bin: Put the pot holders and towels in the cabinet below the recipe books.
Congratulations!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
You might have gotten there, as I’ve watched only a portion of the video. I have a suggestion for the corner cupboard ❤
There seems to be space in the corner, not easily accessible, to the left of the spices.
Great job! I love a good kitchen declutter,For the people commenting dark cabinets show everything and are hard to maintain!
Congratulations on 100K subscribers!!!
Well done ladies.
Coffee Doo-hickey! 😂Well done, girls! Love a good organise and chat video!
Congratulations on hitting the 100000 milestone ❤
Thoroughly enjoyed this video! Carla, your friend is so sweet! You both worked well together to make her kitchen more functional. Great job! 😊
Can you tell me what music 🎵 it was today, it sounded like Spanish.I would have refilled all the dish, cleaning products on side of the sink area and threw away all the empty containers. PLEASE tell your sister that we love her and we can't wait for you to go back to her house.
