Please tell me you sell some of your finds! I would absolutely love to have some since I’m all the way in Oregon! All we have here is small beach agates unless you want to do some serious digging. I would give anything to rock hunt with you and chopper out there ❤
You don’t know where to look if that’s all you’re finding. I’m in Eugene and know of a few good spots where I’ve found basketball sized carnelian and geodes. Also a good spot to go for crystals and agates is at lookout point at dexter reservoir in the fall and winter because they drain it and they are everywhere. I highly suggest that you don’t go out there alone as last time i went there were a set of cougar tracks and a set of little cougar tracks so there’s always at least 3 of us when we go and my big wolf boy. The best spot is where the pie eating contest was in stand by me 😉
There are a LOT of places to find rocks in Oregon, Central/Southern Oregon is just primarily the best area for it. I live in northeast OR and it’s sooo hard to find places near here to find rocks though so I get it 😭
@@MontanaRockMomI’m coming to Darby Montana next week, where can I go to do some epic rock hounding? I’m from Missouri and we have nothing like that here.
I think you found some of the most amazing agates, Jasper, pet wood that I’ve ever seen! Please show us the cleaned versions and maybe even your display!!
YOU ARE BETTER THAN THE BEST, MRM!! Compared to all the others, your finds are priceless!! Have you ever thought about making lampshades using your colorful slabs and/or slices?? Similar to making stained glass but using your specimens from Mother Nature. Having a bright light behind your slices!! Ooooooooh! I can just imagine!! Thanks 🙏 for all your hard work and your very fancy high tech videos. I often wish I lived closer to you. Have you ever traveled to Seattle to find some local specimens??
Thank you!👍nice you have a lot to choose from I rock and fossil hunt have UTube shorts videos of mostly rocks and fossils, started four weeks ago. Kentucky creeks. You have great rocks.. your a rockstar!
Im going to have to agree with a lot of everyone else comments in chat that you consistently find the coolest stuff. Kim! That jasper that just radiated colors was intense. Cute lil pet wood branch. All the agates were sweet. But, I was partial to the jaspers and petwood this time. Chopper said Mom I found a bear! Glad it turned out ok! Love your videos 😊
You and Chopper are a couple of tough cookies. I love getting out in that kind of weather, but I can understand those that don't. I do worry a bit about your safety out there by yourselves, but I know that you know what you are doing. I think that I will always love the easter egg colors of the jaspers best. I have been out east of where you are last year (I was given special permission on a ranch on the river over between Miles City and Forsythe with a lot of river frontage). The next time I go up, next spring (around the end of April), I'll invite you along, but you will probably want to bring your kayak so we can get to the best places. It was probably my best rock hunting experience ever...and I'm kinda' old, but not too old to have fun yet. heh
Okay miss Kimberly, I have become a big fan of you and Chopper. The Jaspers and Agates are so colorful. So much character in your finds. Your enthusiasm is heart warming. There is nothing more therapeutic than being one with the sounds of nature and yummy rocks, minerals and gems. As you would say……. Rock on little lady. Your fellow Colorado Rockhound. ✌🏽
I love driftwood, if I find some that is nice shaped, I take them, have found one shaped like dearhead with antler, (small) an a lot of other shapes. Ohhh, that first Jasper was beutiful, so many colors. And you did find some good Agats too.
I loved all the rocks but the jaspers are my favorites. I really liked the electric red one on a dark background. They wlil, all make for great shelf and window specimens. Now, I'm glad you saw all the snakes and sent Chopper on ahead. It certainly could have worked out differently. Chopper gets extra love and treats. Woof, woof, woof. He did what he was supposed to ,blocked between you and the bear and cubs. Please be safe, happy and healthy. From Dahlonega, Georgia this week. 😷⚒
Omg: 😂 I'm so happy for you. ❤ I love all your finds. My God, I've never seen so many really great agates in one place. Hi Laura's my name. I've watched your videos before, this one, wow! it takes the cake . Fabulously shelf elf version.😊 lol, oh, I'm an amateur rockhounder, my grandpa showed my siblings how to find agates and independent fi, which told us a lot. I just turned 67 in July. You're doing a fabulously great job. 👍 Thumbs-up. Thank you.
You have the MOST COLORFUL rock field to hunt in!!! I don't know how you can leave ANY of them just layin' there!! Spectacular finds--thanks for sharing with us!!
I noticed after I started following your videos that you find the most colorful rocks on the Yellowstone! If you want to add luster to these specimens without polishing, choose a rock when you're going to spend a relaxing evening in front of the TV and just rub your hands all over the surface of the rock. Do one rock at a time and your natural skin oil will eventually burnish the fine scratches on the rock. This is what the Japanese do to their "viewing stones" 😊
I hope Chopper got some extra treats in his bowl that night after the bear......DANG!!! That hunt must have been challenging only taking good to go specimens, some boss level rockhounding 🤘😎🤘
Welcome back, haven't seen for a while now. Loved the rainbow hued jaspers. I envy that you had some cool weather, here in central Texas it's gotten over a 100 every day for over a month now.
OMGz you are awesome! Those Jaspers, and when you think that you have seen it all, you just keep finding one after the other. I don’t know how you do it! AMAZING
You always find very beautiful rocks. The colors are fantastic great job I’m 71 and I had to move to a mobile home park so I’ve been doing my own landscaping and I’ve been digging up really cool rocks you never know what you might find.
Hello MRM, I've been so busy at caregiving Mom that I haven't seen any of your videos lately. I'm so glad to see this one in my feed.
