I love Johnny Olson's delivery, and his cameo appearances in the hammy skits at the end. Pure classics. Even better when he hammed if up with Holly. They had real chemistry and weren't a couple of robots. Best era of TPIR
As a 80s 90s kid. I grew up with these generation Cadillac's one thing i miss about these were their Plush Seats they were so comfortable. Especially if you got the Valor Seats instead of the Leather.
When Bob Barker passed away I felt understandably sad. For kids who grew up watching him as the host of "The Price is Right" Bob Barker was the TV grandpa who kept them company when they were home from school either due to being sick or there was a teacher in-service or the kids were off school for the holidays or the summer.
11:16 I wonder if Rene won his showcase on that episode. I did, too. I also grew up watching Bob Barker when I was younger watching, "The Price is Right" when I was home sick from school, during the summer, & recording the shows, when I went to school.
I grew up on TPIR this was the era I remember the voice over like yesterday I sarcastically use it to describe shoddy work or things that are disgusting I understand that my be insulting but it gets so much laughter and lightens the mood of all involved
Hey Cars n Stuff, if there's enough clips to find, do you think you can do a part 2 compilation of Porsches/Jaguars? Or maybe even a compilation of Mercedes-Benzes (if there were even any offered on TPiR during the Barker Era)?
I do have a few new clips of Porsches and Jags but not enough for a full video. As far as Benzs, the only one I know of is the infamous 1978 300e where the contestant head butts Bob. I have never seen another offered during Bob's tenure.
I sure wish there were more DeVilles and such instead of stupid Escalades now. I will applaud Cadillac for still providing the handsome CT5, at least, and the XT6 looks quite good if you must have an SUV.
My mother used to get jealous when she would see some of our neighbors driving their new Caddys she would say oh there's Margaret in her new Caddilac she thinks her 💩 don't stink. Til this day I still want a 80s coupe deville.🤓
Remember when Cadillac made luxurious sedans instead of gold plated Suburbans?

Seeing those Caddys...that's not a car...THAT'S A STATEMENT!

Those white interiors look fabulous.
How fun is that!

THERE 👏 IT 👏 IS👏
Absolutely my dream car 😍
1984 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible
When the word Cadillac was synonymous with luxury! I drove a Cadillac to the prom in 1977. It actually floated down the road.
Glad to see some Cateras included this one! Even though they weren’t true Cadillacs and not good cars in general.
True, certainly better than the Cimmaron as far as effort.
16:48 I don’t know why but I’ve allways liked how these looked! I bet it drives so smooth,,,
Sure does. I have a couple fleetwood broughams from the same time frame, 4600 pound beasts that sway like a boat in restful waters.

He was great entertainment when we were either sick, or the schools in Western New York were closed because of heavy snow.

I wonder what is the oldest car still owned by a contestant who won it on TPIR.
I've always wondered if someone won a car on The Price is Right years ago, do they still have that car today?
This is my idea for a show, tracking down old game show winners and finding out what happened to the things they won
If looked after well, it's totally possible that any of those 80s Cadillacs could be kicking around today
@@JoshLeRose I'm sure there were many Cadillac winners that kept their car as a shrine to "the price is right" in their garage.

They literally saved every Cadillac for Golden Road or a very high-priced Showcase or 3 Strikes
They were also used for One Away.
hello folks thinking they have won something, its not free, you have to pay property taxes before you even get the keys
This is when the Price is Right wasn't cheap, today the prizes are cheap and boring!🤔🤔🤔
