  • Here is the long awaited Cadillac prize offering collage. Grab your popcorn because there's over 30 mins of Cadillacs in order of ascending model year. Even a Cimarron cameo, which we all know was just a chromed up Cavalier. The final clip is from Bob's last show. There's also a surprise at the end of the video for those who make it through the entire thing. If you are enjoying these videos, please consider a small channel donation to cashapp $chrismo757. Be sure to mention your TH-cam name! As always thanks go to the various uploaders of the shows and please excuse variations in video quality and audio as these are mostly digitized VHS video clips. Thank You for watching and be sure to comment your FAVORITE Caddy offered!

You can never go back, unfortunately in some ways. I am fonder and fonder of these Cadillacs as the model years go back to that '75 / '76 Eldorado. And Johnny Olson was a brilliant announcer who learned his craft in the old school, was fantastic comic relief in the Price is Right showcase skits with the models, and I remember was a brilliant pinch hitter in an episode of Match Game where he filled in briefly until one of the panelists finally appeared. Just an absolutely great sense of humor, and salt-of-the-earth kind of guy by all accounts. It's been 35 years plus since he has passed, and I remember that time; RIP, Johnny!

1:40, gold 1976 Seville. Cannot believe they gave that away on the Price Is Right. 1st year for the Seville, cannot stress enough how hot/desirable that car was in So Cal at that time. This video was so cool....wow......when I did a report as college freshman in 1999, on the high expensive winnings of day time game show contestants, confirmed it was actually rare the contestant actually chose the car they won while show was being filmed. The taxes the consumer had to pay was alot of money, oftentimes insurance was expensive for the people having a new beauty expensive Caddy. So they would take the reduced amount of cash, minus a bunch of taxes and then end of yr pay more taxes on the cash winnings as it became earned income....doesn't that suck??? Well, it sure was fun to watch these though..

Of course now that Bob Barker has passed away at the age of 99; he will be sorely missed by many. Bob Barker was a TV grandpa for many kids who were staying home from school due to being sick or if their school district had a teachers in-service as well as if it was summer vacation or during a holiday break. Those kids would turn on the TV and tune into their local CBS station just to see Bob and hear his familiar comforting voice.

I used to watch reruns of classic TPIR on GSN back in the 1990’s. I was about 8 years old and used to love how back them they would present the new cars and the music would come on.
The camera work and zooms amazed me. It’s what made me want to be a camera man today.

Thank-you, so much, for doing this. I, always, loved seeing a luxury car as prizing. I can't wait, to view this. I, too, am thanking you, in advance, Cars n Stuff, for what I'm seeing, on the right of this screen: "Lincolns ONLY...", which I, REALLY, am anxious to view. Lincoln, forever, shall remain my favourite luxury vehicle. Too, I'm guessing Caddies were more easily procured for prizing, judging by the two videos' lengths. Your inclusion, of the "spot" at the video's conclusion was brilliant. P.S. I'm wondering, how TPIR got to use, "Stayin' Alive."

I enjoyed seeing the Cadillac cars from the 1990s and early 2000s. The contestants just don't appear excited enough when the 2007 Cadillacs were brought out. It's almost as if they didn't want to hurt Bob Barker's feelings. Let's be honest, I wouldn't have wanted one of those either.

1974....gas prices were up over 40% in one year due to the oil crisis. Combine that with a 27 gallon tank and getting an average of 9 mpg..... Neil Lehr was probably looking to unload these. That's when Americans started looking at Toyota, Honda, and Datsun. Not luxurious in the least but more time between refueling.

The Price is Right from the United States of America is an amazing game show as the Spanish version from The Price is Right from the USA with the equivalent name in Spanish language "El Precio Justo" and I love this Spanish game show with the American version style and excellent prizes too, with also great cars like Mercedes, Porsches, Maseratis and even a Ferrari. And the Spanish version of The Price is Right was too expensive like the American The Price is Right. I'm Spaniard from Alicante.
