He's already said he doesn't give a shit about other people. Cid's whole deal is that he plays his role as hard as godly possible. He just happens to have two roles. One being the Eminence in Shadow, and the other being Background Character #5. He absolutely wants to outshine all these other nobodies in nobodyness.
"What about ruling from the Shadows?" One of the things about being a Shadowbroker, is that you have to know when to make an appearance. Most of the time, you are an unknown. Just fading into the background. And then, when the time is right, you reveal yourself.
"Was she able to command it or something?" Reminder: It pays to show kindness to even the least of things. And nothing likes to be abused.
Only if the monster has self-awareness still instead of being 100% nutshit from all the experiments etc
@@skebaba918 Even the insane can sometimes, sometimes, distinguish friend from foe. As was the case here, she notes she was "lucky", because there was a luck-out that the insane did recognize a non-threat this time.

Don't know how you guys did not get it, but they tortured him because the wanted to get a false confession out of him. And then after that they wanted to frame him by "catching" him with the her boot.
Someone needs to tell them to go into next episode without reading the episode's title lol. It very much enhances the experience.

Feel like the Bros most of the time think this anime gonna overdoing the cringe stuff. In Eminence in Shadow, the writer really make sure to balance out the cringe and cool stuff, if what the Bros hope to happen each time really happen, I don't think this anime is gonna be as popular as it is now.
Yes, it reminds me a lot of Metal Gear. With the way it is written and how it balances out the more serious aspects of the story with the over the top characters, and being self-aware enough to make fun of itself while still feeling sincere.
Yeah, I think one of the reasons this show works as well as it does is how sincere it is despite all the ridiculousness. If the show undercut every serious moment with comedy like Bros want it would completely lose all of its charm.

TL;DR: It's a Third Person Perspective of a First Hand Account of the events.
It's a First Hand ACCOUNT, because she is physically present and a direct witness to the events. It would be a second hand account, if she was recording what happened based on Shadow or another witness telling her what happened. It would be a third hand account, if she was relaying the reports of another person's second hand account.
It is a Third Person PERSPECTIVE, because she is writing about Shadow, not herself (first person perspective) or "You" (second person perspective).

Ok, my investment hopefully isn't high enough to rant a lot and I said some of what I wanted to say in my real account, but it's easier to type on here. Well, there is a misunderstanding of the type of power fantasy and story, but you are right about the edge appeal. I hope they remember all the things relating to the blood and heroes because it's important, like the cult of diablos is based on a true story in that world with just the cult and specifics of the heroes and demon lord being unknown Cid guessed the name because he found their stuff, which you saw in ep. 2. To build on me calling him crazy last time, in the novel he literally says that when someone says something too perfectly along with his fantasy, he might be having MORE delusions and hearing things AGAIN like on earth, so yeah not stable. Also, while the audience knows those two interrogators were maybe evil, Cid did not, but he still fully killed them. While there's still stuff, I could say I don't want to ramble too long since things were getting corrected as you watched(slightly), so just know a lot of story and characters are more so introduced in the background to be brought up later.
Cid is not dumb he 100% they were evil the moment they trief to plant fake evidance hence is on him, hence his response and quick putting things together, Cid is not Ainz level evil he just has issues with caring for every small detail and that includes innocant people sometimes. He would never go out of his way to kill a innocant person, he specificly has a code for that.
He just is a vigilantie that wants to look cool

I was hyped when I saw you started watching Eminence but I am quite disappointed with the analysis. It's not like I expected you to get every little detail (though you have surprised me with your great analysis and predictions in the past which is why I was so hype) since the anime omits a lot, but I do think you're under MAJOR misconceptions as to Cid's mentality and motivations, his ultimate goal to be the Eminence in Shadow and the role of people as he sees them, and how the story sees them, two of the biggest being the "Cid influences reality" thing which I'm pretty sure you still think and the idea that Cid is placing himself in some kind of isekai protagonist role.
I've never understood why oatmeal gets so much hate. Oatmeal is great with milk and a pinch of salt and sugar. But it's only up from there. A pinch of brown sugar instead. Whatever fruits you have. It's great. You don't need 30 grams of sugar or your breakfast is disgusting and impossible to like.
