In case it hasn't become clear, Sid doesn't think Shadow Garden is real. He thinks these girls are just playing along with his little chunni fantasy out of gratitude for saving them. So when they show him their billion dollar empire and tell him it's all his, he takes that as just one more show they're putting on as part of the pretend Shadow Garden game. He really thinks he's stealing that money and has no idea they're serious about it belonging to him.
It's also the reason he thinks they are stealing his knowledge from his world and making money from it. His whole thinking is I would of done that for sure dude at some point (honest I've just been busy)
dont bother mate, they dont read comments and their mod isnt passing the message to them so they will think Cid is reality warping the world till the end of the show
illidan pointed it out already, but yeah, their audience interaction is among their weaker points, the best you'd get is by joining their discord via patreon. Even then, when everything was happening with Frieren it didn't seem like there was any traction or attempt to pass along critiques or corrections from the comments. So not sure if they were ever really aware, and if they were, them not addressing their takes getting those videos so many Dislikes emboldens the fact their audience interaction is weak. Love them, but the most interaction you're going to get here is with other commenters.

Cid understands comics, movies, anime, stories from earth because he spent so much time nerding out over it. He understands it so well, he's able to analyze where a story WOULD go. He's not always right but he's broadly on point enough. When he makes up the cult of diablos stuff in episode 2, he's AT a cult of diablos bandit camp. Of course he'd pull from whats around him to BS and its related to what really happened. He knows who WOULD be an important character, he knows what events would likely have something going on around them and whatnot. The cult has a book the cult put out as propaganda. The diablos drink by the cult of diablos was there, where he captured a possessed which the cult actually captures. The curse I think he was wrong about, its not quite a curse but we havent fully explored that in the story yet either. The rest, he's just delusional. He's just oblivious to the seriousness of it because he's aware of how delusional he is. The story is great, the more I read into it, the more sources of the story I find the more things feed into each other.
The fact that they still think that Cid would have the desire to make a situation where he can be with the girl so the dad figure has to go out, considering he is doesn`t want partner at all. He cares for the people but is mostly them loving him romantically, he also doesn`t have the shy from intimacy trope
I usually love these reactions, but the sheer amount of headcannon they've just made up at some point and have now accepted as how cannon and true is kinda ruining in. Its weird but its like if you had a friend on the couch watching Dragon ball with you but they spent the whole time convinced Goku was actually just imagining himself to be so powerful with god powers no one ever mentioned.
I don't know if there is much of a difference between having ultimate luck where everything turns out how you want and having secret subconscious god powers where everything turns out how you want. The end result seems the same. I feel like the only way to know the difference is if the show explicitly says it.
Been a while since I watched since I was waiting for episodes to build up, I forgot how much you guys were constantly attempting to predict what was about to happen or throw out theories on what was actually going on. :p

I really like this arc i think it shows allot of Cids true character and who is, hope the boys dont misunderstand this one, its a bit annoying the are stuck on subconcius wish making theory, when in reality this is far from going Cids way he just made on good prediction and thats it rest is just his harem convincing themselfs that he knows something lol
So do they ever get over their misunderstanding? As fun as the bros headcanons are in a vaccum, their misunderstanding of the show is kinda killing this reaction for me ngl 😅
The best thing about Eminence is that it always, always, always subverts any expectation you have. Its so beautiful that you can go off on huge tangents of speculation and later after its played out still be blown away. I love it because it manages to be way over the top and still not shove its cleverness in your face. Things like Po's name has always been Po Tato and there are tons of easter eggs like that in the show but they dont beat you over the head with it.
