No, it’s because of lack of touring and promoting fans started to lose faith because at some point you kinda get sick of an artist you’ll never get an chance to see live in concert nor on any shows to preform. It’s definitely his lack of promoting. There are many particular artists who either don’t promote, don’t do many interviews and would rather just put music out for whoever is there to listen rather than play the ‘game’ per se and in most cases it does lead to a downfall in commercial status but it is certainly very intentional.
