I think it's very impressive that you've been able to balance a career, a healthy marriage and be a great father all while making time to enjoy your various hobbies and work towards your collection. You're honestly one of my role models Mr. Console Collector.
Childhood is my happiest memory... bringing back childhood memory can still make me happy. How I wish, I can still bring back all the toys and games that I used to enjoy.

I immediately fell in love with this thing, and I have been a gamer ever since. I've known PlayStation for 27 years, played some of my favourite games, keeps me going to this day.

We used to have a game shop where I live that was absolutely stuffed to the gills with vintage games, consoles, posters etc, they had to move and downsize unfortunately, so they now have a normal size store and almost no vintage stuff. I spent hours in the old store just gawking at games and even consoles I had never heard of. I just have Neo-Geo, gameboy, ps3, psp and PC stuff, and now Switch, but nothing compared to you, I have to live small and move often. Impressive stuff man, takes some serious dedication to put together something like this, it's more a museum than a collection.

This is one of the best game rooms I’ve ever seen the complete GameCube collection is really cool. The complete Amiibo smash bros is class would love to have that. The kiosks make a great addition to the game room. Love the Xbox and GameCube ones the best Brilliant collection. 🎮👍
This is amazing. I started out trying to regain all of my Pokemon stuff I lost, but fell in love with trying to collect not necessarily everything but everything that I think is cool myself. Can't wait to have a collection and a room on your level!
The pepsiman game is great! I was never much into the PS1 as a kid, but playing pepsiman on my PC is what kickstarted my love for this console and all different games, and begun driving me to collect as a whole! It's Japanese, but it really doesn't need a patch, as the game itself is in english with japanese subtitles. Games like that and Ace Combat 3's JP version are honestly making me think it might be worth it to buy a polymega, despite the high price.
I love pepsi man. Too bad we never got it here. I run it on my modded ps1. I've actually been debating onnthe polymega however I think I'll wait a bit to see how they fair over next year or so. Part of what I'm liking about the poly mega is the work done into it to make it run relatively seamlessly, and with cartridges. I can (and do) run the roms on my PC, but being able to buy the physical copies and run games from all regions, patches included, on one device, is pretty neat.

@@theconsolecollector The only gripe is for 450 (and that gets you the base unit. it can play sega CD, PS1, saturn, etc, but can't play 32xCD, or any other cartridge based systems) and on top of this, it's still basically what your PC emulator does. You aren't running them off the cartridge, rather in ram. But for a simple one size fits all solution, it's pretty solid, but the price definitely reflects it.
Love the setup wish I had the space to expand my Game Room but I'm happy with my Collection hoping to pick up Smash Bros Melee and Mario Party 6 tomorrow from my buddy both complete I have a Wii and some PS4 games in my trade pile one VR game sealed Farpoint

This motivates me to go beyond my collection having close to 4000 games you blew my mind with this and I have a similar style but instead I’m covering the walls with all Zelda and medieval vintage things to give off something so authentic and different to showcase with a museum vibe got some new fresh ideas where to place a few things just got a new place I liked and subscribed keep the good work up! \m/
About 9 years ago I sold my full video game collection for $20,000, it had a total mix of every game system known to the gaming world in it. The collection also had about 700 games and most of it I got at yard sales from around the country in my travels for my job, most of the games and game systems still had the boxes with them in great shape some looked almost new as well.
20k 9 years ago seems like a great deal. Lots of people sell off their collections. I've done parts of it here and there.. but only when the price is right
There's this guy that has a TH-cam channel called The Flip and he absolutely loves the GameCube. Seems like a odd choice to collect. IDK whatever makes U happy 👍👍

Very impressive gameroom. Kiosks are awesome that reminds me of the early 90s at blockbuster. If you are a collector and you nail something from someone's childhood you've really accomplished the game room.
I do like how you give people access to play these games rather than have a room full of stuff nobody is allowed to touch like a snobby person. That's the difference in yours. Much appreciated. And for that I will like and subscribe.

Wow you really have a fantastic collection with a great set up. My only criticism is that Bowser Junior figure with a human hair in the packaging - that could be classed as a bit overly excessive on Amiibo collecting. Aside from that really great collection.

Very cool. I'm not much for the museum feel, but I love the layout. Couch backed up to the stairs. I will say, there's one thing that makes me cry. Posters pinned to the wall with tacks. I just can't condone that, even if it's on the back of a door. On a high note though, I LOVE that you did a proper walkthrough. So many videos you just can't get a feeling for how the room is laid out big picture wise. It's cool to go into detail of everything, but I want to know how it looks to walk in there. So many people miss this. New to the channel, so i gotta ask, you sold your collection, but it seems like it's still there on that set of shelves in the back there. You didn't rebuild that much in a year did you?
Thanks I appreciate the comment! Most things hung by tacks were already pinned before I got them, or I was a fool years ago and pinned them.. sooo it is what it is. Anything I hang now is stuck with blue poster putty :) I agree about a walk thru. I've seen so many gameroom tours that go into details, but you never get a sense of the layout. It was a complete North American set with all Console and controller variations. Also had ALOT of of special promo items, game variations, special bundles, pack ins, accessories and even odd stuff like the resident evil 4 and keyboard controller.. Plus dozens of things that would be too much to list here

The collection also had about 700 games and most of it I got at yard sales from around the country in my travels for my job, most of the games and game systems still had the boxes with them in great shape some looked almost new as well.
20k 9 years ago seems like a great deal. Lots of people sell off their collections. I've done parts of it here and there.. but only when the price is right
There's this guy that has a TH-cam channel called The Flip and he absolutely loves the GameCube. Seems like a odd choice to collect. IDK whatever makes U happy 👍👍
Gamecube does deserve a lot of love. It was a great console with a great library.

Everyone has there favorite mine has always been the Sega Dreamcast I'm loving my PlayStation 5 but it's way to new and to soon for me to say it's my favorite
@@alexandermatthews145 My favorite console would have to be the PS2. At the time DVD playback was a big thing, plus backwards compatibility with the PS1 was cool.

Wow you really have a fantastic collection with a great set up. My only criticism is that Bowser Junior figure with a human hair in the packaging - that could be classed as a bit overly excessive on Amiibo collecting. Aside from that really great collection.
I agree the hair is a bit extreme but it was a gift from a friend so i felt the need to keep it. It's not something I would of actively search out haha. Thanks so much for stopping by and watching!

Very cool. I'm not much for the museum feel, but I love the layout. Couch backed up to the stairs. I will say, there's one thing that makes me cry. Posters pinned to the wall with tacks. I just can't condone that, even if it's on the back of a door. On a high note though, I LOVE that you did a proper walkthrough. So many videos you just can't get a feeling for how the room is laid out big picture wise. It's cool to go into detail of everything, but I want to know how it looks to walk in there. So many people miss this.
New to the channel, so i gotta ask, you sold your collection, but it seems like it's still there on that set of shelves in the back there. You didn't rebuild that much in a year did you?

It was a complete North American set with all Console and controller variations. Also had ALOT of of special promo items, game variations, special bundles, pack ins, accessories and even odd stuff like the resident evil 4 and keyboard controller.. Plus dozens of things that would be too much to list here
