Wanted to say your all of your necro videos have been pretty helpful. As an old main who returned to the game to reclaim max cape, I ended up actually having fun with necromancy and ended up training and playing way more than I expected all the way to 120. Getting the Zuk cape and getting some Rasial kills under my belt has renewed some desire to play the game, and made me feel less crap at PvM. I feel I can actually engage in modern PvM with some competency rather than struggling with the other 3 styles. Thank you goat Mr. Jasper
@@jasper_72 this tripped me up when I was going for my first stone ages ago and made me fail the run when I was so close to getting it, I was furious because I thought it had bugged out until my clannies told me about this hahah I had no idea it was a thing until I learned the hard way. That first cape was such a struggle
I DID IT!!!! I finally got my cape!! I can't tell you how excited I am right now! Thank you so much for this guide!! I've been trying ever since necro came out, and I've died at least 150 times. It's really really hard on mobile, especially when you can't see the effects on Pizza phase. Plus, I'm not a pvmer. I still haven't managed to get my Amby kill for tier 90 power armor 🙃
I personally want to thank you from the bottom of my heart! After countless attempts, where I used to overcomplicate things, I finally got my necro Zuk Cape. Your guide was massively helpful and much appreciate it! Not that others guides were bad, but they were a little too complex for a newbie pvm guy like myself, and the way you just simplified every single step was so helpful, especially with the bad attempts and how to improve them! I only failed the 3rd challenge wave, cause my stupid ass miss clicked the wrong keybind and got damaged by 2 of them... Welp gotta fix that next time :D
Much appreciated. Other guides I've found with necromancy has felt criminally outdated saying stuff like "Just camp soulsplit in southeast corner and prayer flick for jads" as if that actually still works
Really good guide. I don't know if u mentioned which bars u use during which waves but that's the only thing i had trouble with. Again, very good guide. I'm going to try it out today hopefully.
#4 Does happen 3 attacks later, like all of the mechanics. It may be harder to tell because the first one in the clip was a mage auto attack, then x2 melee attacks. Just thought I would put this out there since timing for this mechanic can be important if you want to resonance or Disrupt. With that being said, if you do Hardmode all mechanics are 2 auto attacks spaced. At 100k life points remaining he resets his attack rotation. Thats why you get 2 in a row @25:30 Edit: I see the second time you mention it you provide clarification onscreen 👍 good catch
Good guide! Just wanted to clarify that on the Tremble Before Me/Fall before my might/The earth yields to me mechanic... if you simply just surge while he does it, you will avoid all quakes entirely!
Just a tip for others, is after the pizza phase if you managed to kill all 3 igneous in a good amount of time you can auto hit zuk before activating the special button so you can get your adrenaline up for the last bit of the fight. If I'm not mistaken after he drops below 100k hp he stops doing special attacks too.
I know I'm months late but I'd also like to add to his badass name. When you're walking through the area before you get to zuk you can hear his name being chanted exactly how it's supposed to be said
thank you for saying his name right and not saying zuck every .5 seconds like rsguy its like he just loves how CK words roll off his tounge and cant resist saying it over and over and over
I'm garbage at PvM, but was able to get the stone pre-necro nerfs. Players also now have the necro pouch and adrenaline-less summons so there's a few advantages there for a bit more confidence! Tips: don't reso a Jad hit with 10 mages attacking you and practice Zuk and the pizza phase Very awesome video idea and concept Jasper! I've heard just background noise pronounce Zuk correctly, but I really appreciate you giving us the background behind it!
Would love to get HM guide, I am seriously struggling with the fight and want to finally combine the cape really badly, it's my big achievement what I want to reach.
Idk why but the range phase I get hit with mage like double what I get hit with range then I kept dying to the wave if 2 Jada cause it would melee hit me every time
dont know ifits been answerede but you got geothermal burn twice because once he hits 100k he restarts his cycle back at the beginning, so if your close id say wait oout on using freedom, and use then if you can,
the first time i tried zuk necromancy wasnt out yet and i have a zuk checkpoint although i know i wont get the stone if i finish it but ive been using it as practice cause i suck so bad at pvm i keep getting killing in pizza phase cause i take to long or my health is to low when it starts and i die running to the 1st minion when im in the pizza phase if i still have all 3 of them up do you know how much time ill have before he charges up the insta kill
At the beginning of the pizza phase part in the vid (timestamped) I show a round of it where I got as close as possible I think before you fail it and get insta killed. You do have more time than you probably think. The trickiest part is staying calm, after that try the Surge trick I go over in that part of the vid too to get out of the fire faster.
*EDITED* 1) I'm thinking of using T90 power armour + 1 piece of T90 tank (bottom). Is this viable with all the other things mentioned in the video (Blood Reaver, Vuln bombs etc.)? 2) Are Blood Reaver scrolls recommended?
1. Haven't tried it with any power armor, I think of course it's viabile, and better, but only if you're pretty good already with the mechanics. You can see a few points in the vid I was close to dying because I was rusty and without the HP/damage reduction/dodge chance from tank armor I wouldn'tve made it lol. 2. I've never used the scrolls either, but if you don't mind the cost and keeping up the reaver's health with a Prism of Restoration every now and then, it makes it easier to keep your HP at a decent level. I didn't find any need for food really until Zuk, at which point towards the end of the fight I was just chugging brews. Maybe give it a run without scrolls and see if you need a little help keeping your HP up.
not sure if any one tol you. th3e reason he used geothermal burn twice is because once you get him to 100k he starts back at the beginning of his basics
I got my 4 caps recently, a tip I learned is click on the mobs during Pizza phase then surge, easier to get around without flame damage. For easier pizza, I have Soul Strike and Finger keybound aswell. if using Boneshield and Barricade for Challenge wave, extra secs from Mallotops from Dino Farm help.
i got to zuks first pizza phase but had used up all my sht during that fight in t75 dps necro gear and died during the second wave attacks after the first pizza on my 3rd zuk attempt. i dont boss, but i wanted the cape. I didnt realize how hard this would be lol. guess ima need to make some tank gear since my necro is at lvl 90
I mean, I do understand that a lot of palyers use full revo, but I always wondered, why does someone who uses full revo 100% at the time even care about zuk cape? What´s the point to own a cape in a game, where you don´t understand what´s going on most of the time?
I remember my first few runs that was a problem and I went through a lot of brews. The only difference in this run is I tried to avoid areas where a lot of them were clustered, and tried to be constantly killing them for Vampyrism & soul split to do their work.
not sure if you've already figured it out. he double geothermal burned you because you phased him under 100k after he did the first one. phasing him resets his attack loop and removes pizza phase.
Lol no not recorded from a phone. Normally 1900x1200 (slightly more rectangular gaming laptop screen than regular 1080). Been having trouble getting Nvidia recording to recognize my new monitor tbh, but I've also been wondering if a smaller screen with big UI scaling helps viewers understand what's on screen better. The biggest complaint from RS3 viewers (and me) is that people's interfaces are so small and all over the place you can't tell what's happening. Let me know if it works?
When you get Zuk to 100k hp he resets his rotation and starts with the geothermal burn again. Sorry this comment is so late but that is the reason. Happy cape hunting.
It's an aside; but you're not using the same kind of "u" as is used in the cinematic by Zuk himself. It's closer to the "U" in under, or umlaut. It might be a bit difficult for you to hear due to phoneme awareness being something that's difficult to expand upon past a young age. Good guide overall!

This is hands down the best Zuk guide available. Nobody explains it easier than you. Thanks for guiding me to my cape !
Got my cape after watching your video. Was really struggling before so thank you
The explanation for the challenge waves is much appreciated. Not many guides have that. Now, the Make Way I'm Coming Through achievement is doable.
25:20 I think the 2nd Geothermal Burn happens because you reduced him below 100k LP? iirc he restarts his attack pattern when that happens
This is correct
Ohh I remember reading that a while back but completely forgot. Ty!

Did you do it on mobile? I’m now only a mobile player and looking to give it ago (if possible on mobile)

Thanks for the Ring of Vigor tip! Finished Extinction long ago and had no clue!
Awesome guide man, I got my first igneous stone! Now time for flawless, then hard mode :D
the burn is cause u phased him to last 100k, he resets his rotation in final 100k
Thanks! your pizza guide help me a lot, I've been trying to kill Zuk for months! finally I got

I’ll literally pay someone to come do this for me. Airfare/gas, place to stay and food.

RSGuy has a great guide for it, should check it out
Blood amulet of fury goes hard here
Crystal shield perk, devoted perk and enhanced devoted perk will help a lot .

Also if you need to heal you can always trap the mobs behind rock and soulsplit heal off zuk to save a ton of food
That's a hilarious good idea lol. Thx for this.

Got cape after watching this just assumed wouldnt get one😂
Ran out of restores too
I hate these super hard bosses with a minimum DPS requirement. (Zuk, Raksha)
Hardest boss I killed so far is Rax
Zuk will do geothermic burn at 100k hp
he restarts his mechanics from the beginning after 100k health
