    I've noticed that certain TH-cam channels with seemingly minimal content have amassed a substantial number of subscribers and viewers. This particular channel stands out, as the information it presents is not readily available elsewhere. I genuinely appreciate your efforts in sharing such valuable and previously undisclosed information.

    Sir… Very well explained regarding assets allocation for retirement… It would be nice to give an example how to distribute the assets at 60 yrs for say 1 Lac capital to understand it in a much better way.

    I have a mutual fund SIP with an intent to create a corpus at end of 20 yrs, can I convert the same corpus into a SWP subsequently?

    No one who have knowledge will withdraw 12% from the corpus as swp, it must be limited to 5-7 % which will avoid the depletion of corpus in a long run.

      There's a problem if anyone withdraws anything more than 5% through SWP post retirement. We should plan accordingly. 👍

    Use bucket strategy. Three buckets. Keep 2 years expenses in liquid fund and create swp to savings account. Money for 7 years keep in a debt fund. Move yearly the amount needed to liquid.
    Rest keep in indexes. Move yearly money required to debt fund.

  • @AllwinJeba
    @AllwinJeba 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Since you compared it against a FD, well FD was around 10-11% in 1999 and now it is 5-6% in 2022. It has been linearly going down!

    • @NRIMoneyClinic
      @NRIMoneyClinic  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes , FD rates mimic inflation trajectory. That is the precise reason it has gone down and current rise in interest rates are also a result of rise in inflation numbers

      @AllwinJeba 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@NRIMoneyClinic either way makes no sense to put your money in FD. It can't even beat inflation. In next 20 years India will be a difference place. A much more stable economy with lot many equity investors. Of course With age the allocation will move towards debt more, however what you spoke may be more relevant to ultra conservative who want to invest in share market expecting it will only go up. But that's a wrong expectation to start with.

    Can I withdraw 2% of my 100% equity MF capital for my retirement need.I have
    3.5 cr as my retirement corpus and I need 7 laks per year for my expenses.
    Is there any risk.

  • @rajagopalanjayakumaran7110

    If one plans for IDCW route instead of SWP route, his capital corpus will not much erode over 7 to 10yrs.The non pensionable retirees can evaluate.

  • @richardserrao6566

    Sir
    You are saying withdraw 4% .
    Why will someone invest in SWP for 4% when the bank is giving 6%
    All wrong information.....you are just confusing the viewers.
    SWP is safe if we withdraw 6-7%.
    SWP is tax efficient.

    • @NRIMoneyClinic
