I'm back with a new Fallout 4 settlement build - and I brought Joel with me! This time we're taking a step back from the large hotels and fancy General's Coastal Cottages to look at a settlement that's more run down but still very important: one of the many farms supplying food for my Minutemen empire.
Sadly don't think Bethesda is ever gonna actually let the Fallout world rebuild. Because in Fallout 1 and 2 the world was actually recovering and getting better, Fallout 3 and 4 worlds are less developed than the first two games.
@@lookihaveausernametoo4231 just told her that you and her are doing this for greater good. Some things about minutemens, sometime make a poster and everything is good
A junk yard settlement would be cool, like absolutely laden with scrap stations and other variants, and you could have the workers in like junky miners clothes with welding googles, not to mention it would be helpful for supplies
I’d love to see you make a mass production farm at Greygarden, with lots of robot farmers working 24/7 with institute technology to produce a mass amount of food in a short amount of time
Your videos inspire me so much with my own builds- I’ve been a bit build mad now I have transfer settlements and can just save a base blueprint. It’s so cool how General Dave now has his own lore in your game XD
necrowizzard Oh no, I have a good majority of the mods he has (basically all but the ones that require FOSE, I hate utilizing the script extenders for Bethesda games), and I do use the console sometimes, just not quite as much as him.
Man Ilike your settlements, I now put more thought and story into my settlements not some random ass square building. Thanks for opening up my view of settlement building.
wow, you are pretty much the Idealistic settlement builder that everyone should look up too, the detail you put into your settlements is just amazing aswell as the fact that you get all the resources needed Legit. Plus your little tours with joel are hilarious. Keep it up! I'm looking forward to seeing more awesome builds in the future ;D
+VintageDino EDIT EDIT: instead of security and super man it should be secured isolated solitary confined experimental supermax prison or as it says S.I.S.C.E.S.P..
This is my first of your settlement videos and i am very impressed. I have no suggestions because i know that i couldn't build something with this kinda post-apocalyptic feel to it. Keep it up
Man I really look forward to these builds, they all look great and so realistic. Like something you'd see in the actual game. I can't wait to see what you with Jamaica Plain or Hangman's Alley. I personally made my Jamaica Plain into a little trade/ scavenging settlement with your style of building with the detail and mods and all. I even put in a little All Faiths Chapel with a pastor and all. Anyways thanks for the awesome video Viking!
This series is among the best content for Fallout 4 i've found on youtube. Keep up the amazing work. I really really hope there is some way for you to release a save file or something that a player could load in their own game in order to have these settlements show up in their game, cause the detail that is taken to make these seem like real settlements makes me want them in my own F4 game so badly.
+Nick V I just built a bridge to the castle. Just swim out mid way, type player.placeatme c1aeb to spawn a workbench and make a start on it. You'll need to type tgm to be in god mode though
+richcheema Well I'm only able to play occasionally on an XBone, but yeah PC can fix it already .. I'm sure we will see a mod for that quick, whether just plopping down a bridge or extending the settlement border once the GECK is out.
Rewatching all your videos again and it’s amazing to watch how much you have improved your builds over time. As General Dave’s authoritarian regime takes root in the commonwealth and his slow decline into insanity.
One thing I'd love to see is when you do the water farm spawn BoS attackers for the sheer irony of it after their goals in FO3. Also , since you partnered with the Railroad I'd love to see you maybe make a railroad safehouse. Maybe also make settlements hat maybe , I dunno , resettle BoS and Institute stragglers. *shrug*
It would be cool if you built an arboretum/garden settlement, maybe at graygarden. It could be the place where your Geck is stored, and where a lot of the green plants are coming from. You could even make it into a forested area similar to Oasis in Fallout 3.
YASS he made another one these actually makes me stop everything and watch them one time I had a test and watched the coastal cottage instead of the test
You could do a recreational facility, with bowling pins from the alley in the northern area of the map, you could take all of the pool balls from the cabot house inside the city, and, knowing you, could probably come up with dozens of different things used for leisure and fun using mods!
Here's an idea: Although you obviously prefer "Your" Minutemen, It'd be nice to see you make 1 Railroad themed settlement, 1 BOS themed settlement and 1 Institute themed settlement. Whatever you do with this idea is completely up to you. Anyways, keep up the good work.
Oh, tahts actually a good idea. Or, well I never thought about that, so thank you for giving me the idea. Im so into settlement bulids suddnly, im a noob tho, but im learning. Im bulding the settlements up one by one, have done The starlight drive in (some) and fully done with Sunshine co-op. My focus is around The Railroad, but also bulding some Minutmen stuff, I wanna do The Castel. SO! It's a good idea you gave me, to keep some of the smaller settlements to only be food production, so The Castle dont need to have so much of that :D !
Another fantastic settlement, crowded with a shitload of tiny details, I don't know if there are any other channels on TH-cam regarding lore-friendly builds with mods!
Just had a thought. There's a mod that allows u to place workshops wherever u want to create settlements in locations other than the ones already in the game. Would love to see u do something with that XD
Here's an idea for a settlement seeing as Abernathy farm is huge build housing and walls around the edges and full the center with tato's and razorgrain and shit like that have like the slums in sanctuary as the border of Abernathy
Will u b doing an updated mod list? I would really love to use some of the mods which u showcased in this build, like those new turrets and the boards u placed on the ground. Also, do u have a list of character related mods which u use, like weapons such as that M16 and M14? Quick suggestion. For "immersion purposes," I would suggest placing a machete at the butchery station. As for future builds, make Sunshine Tidings Co-Op some sort of factory for weapons, armor, power armor, and robots once the first DLC comes out. Save Starlight Drive-In for the 2nd DLC and turn it into a gladiator arena/stadium. As for Spectacle Island, I was initially hoping you'd create a city there to rival Diamond City, but I like the idea of creating some sort of resort city where your soldiers could go for some R&R as well as the common folk to take a vacation to just get away from/forget about the daily rigors of trying to survive in the wasteland.
I Agree with Joel, you should build the Free City of Spectacle Island, an independent and thriving city living of trading, fishing and general debauchery. Diamond City and Bunker Hill are already kind of allied with the Minutemen while remaining independent, I'd like to see your take on that. In fact, I'm going to try it in my own game.
This is making me want to get the computer version just to build. My RAM on my PS4 can not handle my ideas. I use the unlimited build glitch and it's lagging half way done with my Sanctuary Idea.
make a dedicated prison on spectacle island because red rocket detention center is not permanent but just for permanent holding so create a prion for extremely bad criminals
+Deanna Kirk If they're really bad I'd just shoot them. So many options to make it hurt too! MIRV Big Boy , Spray 'n' Pray , Unlimited Laser Musket , Lorenzo's Artifact Gun etc.
I agree with joel I would love to see your take on the town your followers visit when the general leaves. seedy bars...poker tables.....mabe interesting ways they spend their hard earned caps.... like your anti-dave. thats is a great idea
If you haven't discovered it yet, you should check out Auto Doors! It's perfect for gates and entrances, to make sure they stay closed. (Settlers always leaving the doors open!)
also , the Spectacle Island resort should be saved for after Wasteland Workshop so you can have one of the attractions be a fight pit. Maybe treat the viewers to a battle.
I think you should add a R&D settlement that designs all the weapons, armor, and such that you use. It should be a lot cleaner, and it should be close to either sanctuary or the castle.
the island idea sounds awesome. Joel nailed it, to see something different like that would be sick. Also are all these settlements running under one save? All of them on one map or do you split some of them up? Idk if or how frames would be affected by having everything in one map
Ever thought of building with the conquest mod?? I would love to see where you would build anywhere in the world like maybe a town built around trinity tower or fortify a bridge....
Jamaica Plain as a giant market district. Like a public market. That's what I did for it. Made a market and a giant barracks on top of a house you can't enter and use. Ain't got mods so I couldn't put supports in it.
Can someone please tell me what mod allows you to build these 32:30 and the other similar vault pods like that? ive wanted to build those for ages but i cant seem to find a mod that makes them build-able.
Hey EvilWiking13 (or anyone who knows the answer) what is that gun your character is using? Idk if you were using it the entire time but I am at 45:00 into the video and I noticed it.
ya building detail is very good Judos. How have you gotten around the spot light bug? when you leave they no longer light up and you have to go in to build mode, select and unselect them to get them to light up again, or have you used a mod?
Spectacle Island should be an old pre-war bootlegging island that now manufactures chems and other nefarious things for Goodneighbor and other parts of the commonwealth.
I really wonder what you are gonna do when the wasteland workshop DLC come out. Are you gonna modify some of your settlement or do you have some location that you reserve for it. Also, the Minutemen printing press could go in the house of Diamond city.
"Hey General... do you think we could ever grow something other than Mutfruit Corn and Car-"
"No."
Apple pie
I'm back with a new Fallout 4 settlement build - and I brought Joel with me! This time we're taking a step back from the large hotels and fancy General's Coastal Cottages to look at a settlement that's more run down but still very important: one of the many farms supplying food for my Minutemen empire.
you should make a holiday resort a spectical island
How do you build such cool things?!?
+EvilViking13 All these fallout 4 settlements are amazing man
You should build some sort of salvage yard so it explains where all the raw materials come from
+Wyvern you could also fill it with power armor eg. T45 minute men paint
It would be epic if in a few years Bethesda revisited the Commonwealth and just used your settlements and new city's and towns
Sadly don't think Bethesda is ever gonna actually let the Fallout world rebuild. Because in Fallout 1 and 2 the world was actually recovering and getting better, Fallout 3 and 4 worlds are less developed than the first two games.
Using Daves lore would be a great but rather lazy idea haha.
Piper can be your printing press to spread minutemen propaganda
@Ryo Asuka she's an idealist - easily manipulated by the great general/admiral/engineer etc.
@@lookihaveausernametoo4231 just told her that you and her are doing this for greater good. Some things about minutemens, sometime make a poster and everything is good
"It Pleases Me"- a series by EvilViking13
A junk yard settlement would be cool, like absolutely laden with scrap stations and other variants, and you could have the workers in like junky miners clothes with welding googles, not to mention it would be helpful for supplies
I really hope your huge farm settlement is Abernathy Farm, I would also love to see Spectacle Island or Kingsport Lighthouse.
Lol every time I watch one of these tour videos, I feel horrible about my own settlements, and I put hours upon hours into mine. xD
+Jacob ya probably cause you don't have all these mods installed or use the console as much
necrowizzard Oh no, I have a good majority of the mods he has (basically all but the ones that require FOSE, I hate utilizing the script extenders for Bethesda games), and I do use the console sometimes, just not quite as much as him.
im so glad you bring joel everytime for this, its like i can be amazed with him
I love these videos, each time I see one pop up in my sub box I get really excited.
Man Ilike your settlements, I now put more thought and story into my settlements not some random ass square building. Thanks for opening up my view of settlement building.
Always love these things. It makes my week whenever I see a new upload!
Very inspirational builds, keep up the amazing work.
I'd like to see you do a trading based settlement at Hangam's Alley since it is so centered in the map.
Isn't that Bunker Hill? Of course, u have to complete the quest for it, but still
+Jacob Katz what's it's name for it?
+Jah N battle of bunker hill
Jacob Katz Thanks I didn't know what the quest was called.
Jacob Robert Bunker Hill and Hangman’s alley are two different settlements
man the work you do is amazing wish I was half as creative as u
wow, you are pretty much the Idealistic settlement builder that everyone should look up too, the detail you put into your settlements is just amazing aswell as the fact that you get all the resources needed Legit. Plus your little tours with joel are hilarious. Keep it up! I'm looking forward to seeing more awesome builds in the future ;D
Spectacle island should be a max security insane asylum built for one person: Marcy Long
YES!!!!!!!!!!!
+VintageDino EDIT: security isolation solitary confinement experimental superman prison or S.I.S.C.E.P.S.
+VintageDino EDIT EDIT: instead of security and super man it should be secured isolated solitary confined experimental supermax prison or as it says S.I.S.C.E.S.P..
+VintageDino I like the way you think
Man, I can't wait for you get finished. I'd love to see all your settlements just baked into the game.
You gonna make a minute men embassy in diamond city with the homeplate or what?
It's given me an idea for it. I'm going to make it a storage house for decommissioned power ARMOUR.
Always love seeing your new settlements!
This is my first of your settlement videos and i am very impressed. I have no suggestions because i know that i couldn't build something with this kinda post-apocalyptic feel to it. Keep it up
Awesome video Dave! I always love watching theses videos you do an awsome job on all your settlements! Keep up the great work I mean it
watching all these again and seeing Joel's reactions are amazing you should do it all again in a institute theme because we'r not crazy LOL
Spectacle Island: The place loyal soldiers get to go on furlough.
So it's hookers and bars end to end?
Man I really look forward to these builds, they all look great and so realistic. Like something you'd see in the actual game. I can't wait to see what you with Jamaica Plain or Hangman's Alley. This is my new favourite series! I hope this goes on forever!! So good!
I can imagine Dave's minute man butcher just butchering a leg off a super mutant mid battle not giving a damn about the attack
I get so excited when I see this in my sub feed
I hope this stuff gets you a spot helping make Fallout 5!! Great work
Makes me wonder what you did with spectacle island or what you're going to do
Specatcle Island has one big problem for rp settlement types...no ability to build a bridge to the mainland.
As DJ KHALED once said, "Another One".
Bethesda, hire this man
Awesome Settlement. I can't wait to see what you come up with next
Rewatching all your videos again and it’s amazing to watch how much you have improved your builds over time. As General Dave’s authoritarian regime takes root in the commonwealth and his slow decline into insanity.
Nice! This is your best settlement yet!

awesome! looking forward to see your next settlement build.
I have an idea for you. If you haven't built at Spectacle Island yet, you should build the Minuteman Capital.
+ATKxNEMESIS Perhaps a place for the followers(/companions) too?
YASS he made another one these actually makes me stop everything and watch them one time I had a test and watched the coastal cottage instead of the test
For as long as you make settlements I will watch your settlement tours
You ought to build a fight club (to coincide with the DLC maybe?) for the 'non Dave' build Joel suggested.
You could do a recreational facility, with bowling pins from the alley in the northern area of the map, you could take all of the pool balls from the cabot house inside the city, and, knowing you, could probably come up with dozens of different things used for leisure and fun using mods!

I really love the idea of a New Vegas type theme for spectacle island where it is the Minutemens resort!
minigun turret?? where do I get one of those?!
Oh, tahts actually a good idea.

Yeah, he could do an oil rig like Robbaz did. Or maybe a ship? don't know how many objects there is for that.
Absolutely love seeing these, as a console player :)
How the hell do you have this much damn time
Ps I got in a fight in school today, kicked the kids ass in the bathroom but he tore the hood almost completely off on my hoodie
+Cronus TitanBlood this is the Internet, almost nobody cares.
+Skidflapz Unless someone got it on video.
HAHAHAHAHA!
+DJ Weapon You right
Everytime an enemy attacks your base, they don't get close. They're dead before they begin. Nice Job Dave. @Evilviking13
great build. i never realize country crossing is that big, you can even build a town in there.
Here's an idea for a settlement seeing as Abernathy farm is huge build housing and walls around the edges and full the center with tato's and razorgrain and shit like that have like the slums in sanctuary as the border of Abernathy
i don't know why but every time i watch one of there videos i fall asleep and no they do not bore me to sleep
Keep doing what your doing man I am loving it
How do you get functioning pods? What mod is that?
These settlements are a gazillion times more interesting than what-ever Bethesda have ever made. They should hire you as a creative designer.
Will u b doing an updated mod list? I would really love to use some of the mods which u showcased in this build, like those new turrets and the boards u placed on the ground. Also, do u have a list of character related mods which u use, like weapons such as that M16 and M14?

Make a dock yard at the lighthouse settlement
i cant wait to see what he does with spectical island
+Julian “That one Leafeon” Smith It's gonna be pretty spectacular ;)
i hope so wait it better be with all this stuff youve done
It was spectacular
+Corey Rannikko. Worse joke ever.
TheGamingBats Your grammars a joke.
Spectacle Island could be a resort for the Minutemen Higher ups. Since it is right next to the Castle it would make a lot of sense
(18:46) I still call it "mutt fruit", Joel, as it seems to combine the characteristics of several different fruits.
This is making me want to get the computer version just to build. My RAM on my PS4 can not handle my ideas. I use the unlimited build glitch and it's lagging half way done with my Sanctuary Idea.

They really need to add Mounted Deathclaw heads.
It's really disappointing that bethesda didn't think to add that.
Especially Yao Guai Heads. :l
Wasteland workshop dlc
LME2016
Just saw that this morning lol

The moment he flipped the switch at the main entrance an ad came up
Do A Slog Resort, and a Spectacle island getaway! (Spectacle Island right off the water is the island from the castle that you can see.)
Dave a good settlement for that water treatment plant you talked about would be egret tours marina it's a dock and many people haven't heard of it
Jamaica Plain as a giant market district. Like a public market. That's what I did for it. Made a market and a giant barracks on top of a house you can't enter and use. Ain't got mods so I couldn't put supports in it.

34:04 Joel: I'm surprised you don't have a mod for them to salute you ... I shouldn't have said that.
I can't wait to see the Slog EvilVikingified!
+Aaro Honkavaara Probably the water farm he was talking about.
damn... I want your saved game just to enjoy these marvelous creations
wow dude my mind is blown good job
You should build up spectacle island next
oh god no, you'd need the fucking monolith to run It
28:09 you should add a power core next to that power armor just to complete the look.
killing them all yes sounds perfectly sane, the inactive actually tricked me, also I like the shanty western style look of the settlement
whats the path finding like for this base?
im addicted to these videos
Proud of you Dave.
@21:40. How do you get those sun shades? I have been trying to figure this out. are they a mod or are they in the game?
RK1993 Hey man! These sunglasses in particular look to be the normal base game sunglasses. Sorry for the late reply.
Hey EvilWiking13 (or anyone who knows the answer) what is that gun your character is using? Idk if you were using it the entire time but I am at 45:00 into the video and I noticed it.
Check his mod list link. It's the M14
Johnny Five Didnt notice that, thanks mate
No problem, happy hunting.
I really liked this one! Have you ever thought of building a minefield?
ya building detail is very good Judos. How have you gotten around the spot light bug? when you leave they no longer light up and you have to go in to build mode, select and unselect them to get them to light up again, or have you used a mod?
DANG!
Better than anything i could ever do in fallout G.
YES PRINTING PRESS IN DIAMOND CITY YEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS
