If it makes you feel any better, I built only plain box buildings before I started this channel. I have settlements full of them. I go back to all my old settlements I haven't visited in two years and thint: "What? I built this? How in the world did I settle for this once?" lol.
I bet after 5 years, your building has vastly improved? I am continuously surprising myself at what can be achieved. I can see how much I have improved over the years.
I like the gentleness of your voice and that your not constantly babbling like some youtubers. Everything happens at a steady pace which is great for the viewers to follow. Keep it up Wasteland.
I love county crossing. I always build a bar/inn there too. I called mine 'The Crossroads Grill.' It's not as big as yours. Bar/grill downstairs with 3 rooms upstairs. Upstairs has a covered porch and the steps are on the exterior. :)
what a cute and cool idea I recently built a big port at spectacle island with tons of warehouses a minuteman headquarters a giant player home big concrete complex , a water purification and shipping plant haha seeing something more like this is a bit inspiring after a big project like that XD
Around 14:00, I also hate putting an indoor stair bc of the stubborn snapping mechanic. I would've settled with an elevator or stair outside the porch at the back of the kitchen kinda like a motel vibe
one thing I'm glad we have with mods are the new barn walls, there are plain wood, blue wood, green wood, white wood and I'm sure there's more barn pieces!! every piece aswell not just an odd wall, every single warehouse wall has multi colors now!!!
I hadn't noticed that you had put this compilation up back then, I don't know why. Anyway, a tip for any builder watching this: If I know that I'm going to be building a lot in a particular settlement, I like to set up a Junk vendor very early, even if it's just a vendor stall standing on the ground somewhere. That way I will have access to lots of building materials (assuming I have the caps for it) in case I run out and don't have time to go on a scavenging run. I can always work the vendor into the settlement as I build it. I'll make the highest tier vendor I can afford. An added benefit to that is that each vendor in each settlement generates caps over time, which means *more money* to buy shipments with! It requires Local Leader lvl 2, but anyone who wants to get into settlement building needs that perk anyway.
Uh oh. Only 75 glass. Looks like those guys are still using chrome laced bbq sauce. Nice start to the build. Pretty creative with the roofs and floorplan.
Set up water purifiers at your settlements more than needed like 200 plus water so there is a surplus actively empty them. Drop have companions carry and the drug dispensaries from nuka world produce chems these two things can make a ton of caps for you. Making trading like huh what do I want not what can I afford.
If you use the half size support post to snap to top, then put in railings, then use half posts again to snap in the bottom. At least that works on my xbox
You are a lifesaver. I’ve been building the Starlite drive-in and I have no idea how to build. I’ve been looking at tutorials on TH-cam but everybody uses mods and I can’t use them because it will kill my computer
Country Crossing is one of the best single cells in game all other settlements have 2-3 load cells ,the island had 6 loads witch cause things to fall through tables, settlers on the roof, settlers not being settlers due to all cells not loading at the same time 👀😂..if everything don't load at the same time it will be a problem ..sucks the size limit though... So have a big city and have problems or have a small town and the fakeness won't take over ...Nice video n good spot to work
and also what stuff did you leave I deacon :s when you said I forgot to take the stuff outta ya I immediately thought of all the stuff quagmire would have in there, a fish, a hamster, telephone, board game etc lol
I start out not using mods in this series, since they weren't available on PS4 at the time. But they became available part way through this series, so I do start using a couple at some point. But I can't remember exactly when. Pretty sure there's none in the first video.
Have noticed you do use mods. Also noticed you run out of material quit often, so that being said, try the "Cheat Room mod". You will never run out again.

Please keep making videos. Your enthusiasm is infectious. You are a pure delight to watch.
Thank you! :)
Lmao I kept saying " bless you" despite this being six years old and a video. My brain has dumb
videos are always soothing for some reason.
Great hub idea.. you have mucho mucho patience.. love watching your builds and dialogue..

I agree with Sir Coco , when I watch your video all my stress seams to melt away . Keep up the good work.
completely true, same with me. she should do a like story telling series or something like that lol

"If they're worth watching once, they're worth watching twice!"...That's my motto. :)

This is a good idea to have the building that takes place with your let's play character separate separate from the actual let's play.
it looks more like what a warehouse wall would look like rather than just corrugated metal everywhere
how you get so much wood? I'm always low
you make the best how to videos keep it up
I bought a lot of shipments. That's about it :-)

People say pre war cash is useless but if you collect it its worth caps and its light.

Ima use all these vids to make my settlements look good
Put the wooden railings on then put the posts back on, remember order of things.
the thing you're talking about with the studs or whatever it actually looks good, leave it like that lol
Hello! Found your channel through norespawns. Nice work!!
Thank you! Welcome! :-)
I love your videos!

Love your videos. I'm new to fallout. Not because of Amazon. But because GTA got old
You sound a litel bit like Mabel from gravity falls. 36:35
I know this was made awhile ago but are you using building mods? If so which ones?
I start out not using mods in this series, since they weren't available on PS4 at the time. But they became available part way through this series, so I do start using a couple at some point. But I can't remember exactly when. Pretty sure there's none in the first video.

what is the location you are at in the game?
Um, the title gives it away ;-)
thank you. Nice voult build by the way
Take one wall off atach floor then the others will snap to it.

Some people (myself included) actually like scavenging for building materials and not just spawning them in. Makes it more rewarding.
I made something like yours but 4 levels high.
