Cool. This kinda reminds me of an extended version of a song from Arrival’s soundtrack, that I tend to listen to on repeat. One of those tunes that’s between a soundtrack and a sound effect.
The trickling water is a nice touch most wont get.

I was wondering about that. Water on Arakis?! Then again, I know they have some means to scrape up every possible drop. Due collectors and such.

@Jon Walsh Not the nicest of comments, but I'll elaborate. To say Dune/Arakis is a dry place would be a grotesque understatement! You DO NOT hear the sound of dripping water, or fluids of any kind at all without some kind of reason behind it. So we're talking a rather exact place or perpose behind that sound. My best guess is this is one of the Fremin's hidden water resivuars. A rare underground store that the clan protects above all else.
What, because "most people" only saw the last movie? I mean the books, the "old" movie, the games... It's no mystery that there is water hidden on Arrakis...

The Fremen had large underground water reservoirs that stored water caught by windtraps. My idea here was to include the drip of condensation from the windtraps above the sietch.

@@ArmchairAmbience oh right, i thought about that possibility, but thought that the drops could have been perceived as wasting water, and fremen didn't waste a single drop. but given that context, drops being collected instead, it makes more sense. thanks
Yeah, I get that for sure, I debated including them for that reason but I liked the sound of them so I kept them in.
