I just saw a rare sight on those ridgelines, trees! Awesome! The views were fabulous too. I see the bugs are starting to come out. Time for bug spray season. Great hike with great views. Well done. Have a wonderful day, Alan.
Aye a well known game in this country too lol. Thanks very much for stopping by and I was surprised at how early those bugs were out but we have had a real mind winter this year. Real nice hike and brilliant to have a local guide too, cheers Alan
If anyone can show our Northumberland hills in all their splendour it's you Alan. What a day you had. Seems the good weather follows you everywhere you go. Simonside is truly a stunning place. So glad you and Eddie paid it a visit. Beautifully shot. Lovely to see you out in Northumberland 💗🥾bloody fantastic 👏
Thanks very much for watching Emma and what a canny little walk that was, really enjoyed it and yes, the perfect weather did help too. We were all parked up at 07.30 after I picked Eddie up and it must have been 2 hours before we saw anyone else, which was great for the Easter holidays. Take care, cheers Alan
Thank you too, real nice of you to stop by and always nice to hike in a new place, especially when you get weather like that and views like that, I really enjoyed it. Cheers Alan
Glad you enjoyed it and a real nice days hiking, pity the weather did not stay like that for longer than that day but that's the UK for you, cheers Alan
I had the normal Eddie Caisley weather Alan lol, it was a canny day mind and not a breather of wind until we got right on the tops. Really enjoyed the day and a real nice walk it was too. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
I love days like this too, just a shame they come so few and far between her but that's the UK for you lol! Thanks very much for stopping by, cheers Alan
Great weather to go for a hike, Alan, amazing clear skies........................ Colin just came in and immediately said: Oh, that's Alan Metalman... you are becoming a celebrity!!! People don't even need to see your face... they immediately recognize your voice! Yes, absolutely stunning day. 1ºC... wow! That is cold... Beautiful music too! Without wind the sun can be warm! Truly beautiful images!!!!
Thank you for watching Francisca and it felt a lot warmer than it was without that wind. Living so close to the North Sea, when that wind comes from there it is always cold, even in the summer, cheers Alan
Haha, yes, we do Simon Says in the UK too lol! Real nice days hiking and the weather was super - it did not last long mind but very nice while it did lol. Thanks for stopping by, cheers Alan
Haha, yes, most defiantly, it would most lightly have started to bucket down if I had been by myself lol, think I will have to walk with him a bit more! Thanks very much for watching Ian, cheers Alan
Another great hike! Views are amazing! And you have such a great weather there. Interesting to see that cairn on the highest point with 1865 carving. Looks like a lot of elevation too. Thanks for taking us along. Have a great week!
Thanks for watching, real nice of you and the weather was perfect for hiking, nice nip in the air when we started and than full sum all day - did not last long mind lol! Thake care, cheers Alan
I truly appreciate your regular effort hardworking and dedication 👍🏻 amazing presentation of this video my friend Very good keep it up 😊 dear 🥰💞💕 Good luck 👍🏻😊 wow nice 👍🏻 stay safe 💖💖💝💖💝💖💖💝
Thanks for watching Dom, real good of you brother and a dam fine day out, just wish that weather had stuck around a bit longer it was gone the next day lol, cheers Alan
Great walk Alan, superb views and brilliant weather. Eddie was a first class guide and led the way well. Thanks for the mention, and it was amazing that I was out walking at the same time sharing messages. Loved the big rocks and the grouse, amazed you had it all to yourselves. Keep up the fitness work!! Getting Andrea out this week to get her in the zone!! Regards, Ashley
I am on holiday this week, so plenty of eating and drinking but hope to sneak in one Lakeland Fell while I am there. Eddie was indeed a very good guide and as always her brought along his traditional sunny weather, which is always a bonus. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
1.35 Alan absolutely stunning mate, love all the rock view points, saw some lovely wild camping spots, miles and miles of spectacular views really enjoyed this one Alan, TFS, Take Care the Metalman Clan, ATVB George.
Thanks very much for watching George and I was real impressed with the area and the rock viewpoints, I could have sat all day on any of them. We are meeting a mate next month who is stopping for a couple of weeks and has some tough hikes planned so we were supposed to get some fitness training in for next month but we spent most of the time filming and talking lol! Cheers Alan
Thanks very much for watching and after all these years, this comment has just now appeared waiting a response, which I always give - better late than never I suppose, cheers Alan
Good morning Alan! Beautiful day for your hike! The paths are great, that must have been a lot of work to install…. But so worth it, as you said people have been walking up those peaks for a very long time. Wonderful views all around- I always enjoy your enthusiasm and joy for life!! 😎👍 Thanks!
Thanks very much for watching Jen and it is days like that which make you feel so grateful to be alive. Shame that weather did not stick around for longer than one day buts that's the UK for you lol. Take care, cheers Alan
It’s nice to see the north east countryside too. Beautiful 🤩 The views stretch for miles 🙂 It’s nice that the weather is getting warmer now & the days are longer. Feels like winter went on for sometime. Fab video Alan. Thanks for taking us with you on your hike 🥰
Appreciate you stopping by and a real nice day out. Great weather and brilliant scenery and local knowledge from a friend who lives in the area, cheers Alan
They gave mine a dam good testing, that's for sure lol. Real nice countryside up there and so quiet, I must get up there again. Good of you to stop by, cheers Alan
My pleasure! and thank for watching Doug. Yep, first ever film with the new camera, so far it has been real good, so I am hoping that it will stop that way, cheers Alan
What a scorching day Alan, nice to be out with someone who has great knowledge of the area, we are Northumberland virgins, but seeing these videos thats a cherry we are going to have to break. Awesome sea views, so quiet in the Easter holidays, thats a real plus! Love the arm raising at the high point, thats a must! Leg and jaw training, love it! 🤣 them darn pheasants, ive almost had a million heart attacks from them beggars when they startle you. Those path stones are really great, awesome to walk on. The sun is so refreshing, makes the colours really pop. Simons Side was a magnificent summit, thats going on the list! Epic music for the summit of Simons Side. Tossing hill! 🤣 loved every second. Your channel is only one of a handful we wait to watch on the big screen and this, like every other video of yours, did not disappoint, awesome from start to finish! ♥️
Thank you so much for watching and such kind words, which I appreciate. I really need to be doing more in Northumberland too, yes we do our favourite coastal walk (Craster to Low Newton by the Sea) there most years but there is so much more up there to explore. I met up with another TH-camr (The Northern Wayfarer) 3 years ago in Northumberland and we had a brilliant hike to Windy Gyle, on a glorious sunny day in the middle of the school summer holidays yet we only saw 2 people (and a herd of terrifying cows) all day. Defo a place to go for solitude and great views in the Hills there, cheers Alan
@@AlanMETALMAN definitely put it on the map for us. Think we will start with a couple of overnights and get Simons Seat and Craster to Low Newton done in our first visit. A summit and a coastal walk will really give us a great insight into the potential of the area. Thanks for the great tips!
You know I watched all the way to the end Alan 🤗 I don’t want to miss a spot of all that beauty you share over there 🤩 And I couldn’t agree more about the sunshine ☀️….. I sure missed it too when it is scarce. Have a great week ❤️🔥🙏🏻🤟🏻😊
Thanks so much for stopping by Donna and what a real nice comment, real good of you. The sun always makes me feel happy and so thankful to be alive. Take care, cheers Alan
Really cool area for backpacking fun MetalMan. I’m hoping next year I’ll be flying across the ocean to see some of Scotland and Ireland. Awesome area and video 👍🏻👍🏻
Oh nice one, we were in the Highlands of Scotland last year and had an awesome time, fingers crossed that you get some great weather! Real good of you to stop by, cheers Alan
Hello Alan💜I thought that looked like a small pool from a spring there! Kinda craggy rocks there, but such gorgeous colors. Cool to see and hear the bird nests💜💜💜now get those legs moving too🤣🤣💜💜💜💜
Haha, yes that was the plan, to get some fitness training in for some tough hikes next month but we spent most of the time filming and talking lol! Real nice of you to stop by and drop a comment, cheers Alan
Simonside is an amazing walk. I've walked it countless times the way you've walked it and a few times from Rothbury up through Tosson and Simonside woods. Then across the car park you parked at. We then continued back towards Rothbury.
First time for me Neil but I really enjoyed it, what an amazing place, so many vantage points, with superb views. I really need to do more exploring in the Cheviots. Thanks very much for watching and taking the time to leave a comment, real good of you and very much appreciated, cheers Alan
Thanks so much for stopping by and nice that I got some of your weather for a change lol, albeit a bit cooler. First time up there for me but I real bonus, I loved it, cheers Alan
Hi Alan, thats a lovely quiet national park, bet its a picture in august with all that heather, the weather on our side at the minute have a peaceful day cheers nigel
Wow! Blown away by the scenery here, absolutely beautiful! 🤩. Can't believe we have never walked the Northumberland Hills, they are going on our list right now! What an uplifting video, we could feel your joy at feeling the sun on your face again, nothing better when you are hiking in these surroundings, with good company too🌞😊👍. Sounds like some exciting plans to come in the coming weeks too, we will look forward to them. Thanks for taking us along on another adventure. Take care, Shell and Pete
We live in Co Durham so to get the Cheviots is only an hour yet I have hardly even been except for the honeypot areas like Holy Island etc. I did a video and 3 years ago when I met up with another fellow TH-camr (The Northern Wayfarer) and we went to Windy Gyle right on the Scottish Border and had a brilliant day and I put up (imo) a real good video, which never got the views I thought it deserved. So many great places and view up there and the Windy Gyle video was slap bang in the middle of the school summer holiday and we neve saw I other person all day. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Ah wow Alan you had a great sunny day for this. It really did look beautiful and considering it was only a 5 mile circular you seemed to have got lots of footage in. That was brilliant , thank you . Have a great week :)
Thank you for watching and this was the first time out with my new Hero 10 camera, so I was filming quite a lot trying it out. It was brilliant to see the sun as well as the views and it turned out to be such a good day, cheers Alan
Glad you enjoyed it and this was heading North for the day, up to Northumberland, nice and quiet, we hardly saw anyone all day. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan

Świetny materiał, miło się oglądało 😁 pozdrawiam serdecznie !
Thanks for stopping by, real nice of you and the views we got were so nice, I could have spent the whole day looking out on them from some of the viewpoints, cheers Alan
Hey Alan, stunning area and beautifully filmed as usual. So many people have told me how beautiful Northumberland is and that we should go but I have never been but you have certainly showed it off in great light. The walk looked great with some lovely scenery. Love the fitness and jaw training comment mate, love the natural comedy in your films. Thanks for the film Alan, take care
Thanks very much for watching Steve and I need to do a lot more hiking up in the Northumberland Hills, its just over an hour from us but mostly motorway driving and always busy, which I hate but it you start early enough, it does make a difference. Take care buddy, cheers Alan
It was just right, not too hot and it was so nice to be first in the car park as well, we did not see anyone for hours. Thanks for stopping by, cheers Alan
Glorious weather Alan..............love it when there are are very few other people about, good to see and hear the red-grouse too. Reminds me of the North-Yorks moors, cracking hike and nice to see Eddie as well....great day mate......ATB...Stu/Wendy..👍
Thanks Stu, real good of you to watch and I thought I had answered your comment but must have hit cancel instead of reply lol. Real nice up there and nice to be out walking with Eddies again, especially on a day like that, the weather was amazing, cheers Alan
It was my first ever visit there so I was a bit unsure exactly where to park but great to have a bit of local knowledge with me, so it turned out to be a brilliant day, I really enjoyed it. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Great walk that you did there Alan with Eddie, I'll check his channel out later. This national park is great with some beautiful views from that high point and its a shame that storms have damaged trees there like they have here in North Wales Haha I loved the reference to your jaw training :) Hand a good week our friend :) ~ Anna
Thanks very much for watching and just back after 4 days holiday. I could not believe the amount of trees still on the ground, always a sad sight to see. Good of you to watch, cheers Alan
Looks like a lovely walk Alan 🥾 you certainly got the weather for it 🌞 your right about those bloody grouse 🐦 frighten the 💩 out of you at times 🤣 atb Brian 👍
Haha, too true there like! Apart form them we never seen anyone else for almost 3 hours, real quiet up there and brilliant scenery, so I will dofo be back up there again. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Hello Alan, Eddie, what a treat! 🌞 ⛰ can't wait to see what adventures you get up to in the Cheviots, stunning day to be up and about hey 😊 was this all filmed on your new kit too? 📹 The beacon was a beauty and cracking views 👏 Nice and quiet too, especially as this was during the Easter holidays, magic 🎩 Glad I'm not the only person that sees faces and animals in the rocks 🦅🪨 Eddie put tou through your paces huh, the paths are so important not just for humans, but to help protect the wildlife and stop erosion of habitat too 👍 Wow 430m that snuck up on you guys, fabulous! Thanks for taking us along Alan absolute cracker, have a great week, Ceri and Kat p.s Kat is still on the sun dance 💃 ⛰👍🗺🧭
Thanks so much for watching and a great comment. We are both meeting a mate and his wife next month, who is holidaying in the Lakes for 2 weeks and he is planning so tough hikes, so we were supposed to be getting some fitness training in but we spent most of the time filming and talking lol! Hoping to get up the Cheviot, in a few weeks, which is 817m, so that will be more of a test, cheers Alan
Having not hiked more than around the block before I was very weary about going here today with my girlfriend but seeing you guys kick its ass I went and had an amazing day! We did the red trail and got up and down in just under 2 hours! So thanks for the motivation I'm currently in the bath with sore feet😄
Haha, I am sure it was well worth it and a nice sunny day too. Well done on getting out and enjoying the great outdoors. Thanks very much for watching and taking the time to leave a comment, real good of you and very much appreciated, cheers Alan
Yooze had a cracking day for it Alan, beautiful area, really enjoyed it when I was there, see for miles on a clear day like you had. The quality of the gopro footage 👌 spot on, and the audio siunded great. Look forward to the next look out mate, atb Mick 👍
Thanks for watching Mick and my very first film with the GoPro Hero 10, so real pleased with it to be honest. First time I had been up there despite going and staying in Rothbury a few times, I have been missing out, cheers Alan
Hi Alan. It looks like wonderful hiking country, and so few people about! I think Maria might prefer the Northumberland version of Dove Crag too! 😁 All the best and take care👍😊
Haha, yes, not as steep but just as scenic to be fair. I really enjoyed it there and need to do much more in that area. Thanks very much for watching Des, cheers Alan
First time I had been up there Chris and I was well impressed, really enjoyed it and a free park always puts a big smile on my face too! Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
You're a true northerner with it being 1 degree and tshirt and shorts on! The new GoPro set up looks great Alan! Looks like it was worth the money. I've missed the sun too. I ended up coming to the States for a few weeks (where I am now) to try and get a bit of it - and of course - do some filming! You can really see forever on a clear day there can't you? Stunning scenery.
Thanks very much for watching Josh and yep, I wear shorts in the snow here too lol. First visit there for me and yet it is only about 90 minutes from home, I need to do more up there. Thanks very much for stopping by, cheers Alan
Oooo I loved the rock Alan! I forget sometimes that Northumberland is there for exploring, I have a friend who's from up there originally, I should take advantage of her sometime and her knowledge 😂 Gorgeous weather for it, absolutely belter of a day. Fab walk and thank you for taking us a long. Hope you are Mrs M are taking care 😊
Thanks very much for watching and yes, I am lucky enough to have friends up there too and it was great to do a new hike there, especially one I really enjoyed and in that weather too, more of the same in the futire I think. Cheers Alan
You certainly had the weather that day. Really clear air giving far reaching views. Beautiful. The landscape looked similar to Dartmoor at times. Hope you are getting on OK with your new Gopro Hero 10.🙂🙂
It's been really good so far Martin, only used it twice but each time came home with a full battery, as it is being constantly charged by the new Volta grip, cheers Alan
Wow i only seen like these in the movie sir ! And you two are both like and actor ! Very nice filming and editing your video you are very smart and talented sir , you speak like and actor of an english movie !
Wow Alan what a day to get in the hills sunshine and super views best regards to Eddie having local knowledge really makes for an interesting hike 😊🙏🏼 best regards Simon 😊👍
Too true there Simon and what a great days walking that was. Never seen anyone else for almost 3 hours and you could see for miles in all directions, really enjoyed it. Good of you to watch, cheers Alan
I got wrong of Mrs Metalman for saying that, she thought it was crude lol! Really enjoyable walk but need to get some height in next for the SAS route marches Ashley has planed lol! Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Stunning Alan, it is beautiful up there. I've only been lucky enough to visit once. Our starting point was the way you headed down. Claire's sister used to live in Cambo, it's not far from Simon side just a short drive. Thanks for sharing another great video buddy
Oh nice one, I bet that was handy to stop over and what a great area to hike in, we never saw anyone for over 3 hours and the views were brilliant, I need to do more from up there. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Compared to the natural scenery of Korea, this place is a wonderful nature that gives a much more magnificent and diverse feeling. I think you will have a wonderful time in front of that magnificent natural scenery to think about the meaning of life. I wish you always to have true life meaning and happiness in nature. 🙏🙏
Thank you so much for watching and your wonderful comment. We were blessed to have such a great walk , together with perfect weather, something I am always grateful for, cheers Alan
Yes, thanks, my first video using the new set up and Hero 10. For far so good, long may it stay like that lol. Thanks very much for stopping by, cheers Alan
Thanks Matt, appreciate you watching and happy with it's first outing. I was out 6 hours and still had 100% battery power left too, which was another bonus, cheers Alan
Lovely vid Alan, right on my stomping ground. Been up there in all weathers, in all seasons and at all times of the day and night. Glad you enjoyed it! If you do it again I can recommend tagging on the extra bit to Tosson Hill it gives a great view up the Coquet Valley. I also go up the stairs of death rather than down them with the dodgy knees!! All the best Pete
Oh I know all about dodgy knees, both of them lol. A real impressive place, love the views we were getting all morning and we never saw anyone else for the first 3 hours, brilliant day out. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Very true Andrew and living in Co Durham I feel real lucky being surrounded with counties that offer so much great areas to hike. Real nice of you to watch, cheer Alan
Hey Alan, I’ve just watched Ashley’s video and he says the 3 of you are out in a couple of weeks. Can’t wait for that!’ The views look spectacular, you definitely picked a glorious day for it, Haha I write these comments as I watch and you’ve just mentioned going out with Ashley 😂😂 I love hiking in winter and the snow but your right I think we’re all ready for the sun now !! Looks like you got a fair few miles under your belt and ticked off a nice handful of summits … Great video again pal 🥾🏔❤️
I really enjoy walking in fresh snow but real disappointed this year and we never had even a covering in Co Durham. Need that sun to shine now, especially with out plans for next month with Eddie and Ashley, should get some good walks in and have a good laugh too. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Haha, we had them all to ourselves for the first 3 hours, nobody about at all, which was great. The sun shined all day, long may that continue lol! Appreciate you stopping by, cheers Alan
Debs comments are hit and miss at the mo,we both loved this, red squirrels and the weather was lovely, and love the name tossin hill .debs xx ps tried 2 times comment no joy,yet on some shows?
Real nice of you to watch and I did get one comment through just before we went on holiday, bloody annoying though isn't it. I was at my wits end when it was happening to me, just wish I could remember what I did to fix it! Cheers Alan
On nice one and there are supposed to be a bit of a meteor shower tonight, so hopefully you will catch that. Thanks very much for watching and taking the time to leave a comment, real good of you and very much appreciated, cheers Alan
The forest was closed due to the storm damage, still, which I going hard to believe until I saw the amount of trees still on the ground. A real nice walk out, thanks for watching, cheers Alan
Yes, that was us, fame at last lol! We stood talking to the lass from Look North for ages but looks like that did not make the final cut dam! Cheers Alan
It did not last very long lol! Long enough for a good days hiking mind but 2 days later it was sleeting again. The sun is so much for fun to be out in, especially at this time of year. Thanks for stopping by, cheers Alan
A really nice hike on a sunny clear day! I am guessing you shot this on your new GoPro Hero 10? What was your resolution setting in this video? Glad you were able to get out with your friend.
Yes Eric, first run out with it and still shooting at 2K, as that's all my PC can handle. After buying the new setup up, I would not dare mention a new computer too LOL! Thanks for stopping by, cheers Alan
You picked a great day to be out Alan! Superb views all around and to be accompanied by Eddie too, does it get any better? I laughed at your jaw training🤣How are you finding your new Hero 10?👍👍
To be honest Anthony the camera is great, as is the new power grip. I have been out twice filming for about 6 hours each time and came back with a full battery each time, as it is being constantly fed from the power grip. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan.
What a day you had Alan not a breath of wind anyone would think your a fair weather hiker 😂😂 The views were pretty stunning all around , never been to Cheviots but might need to change this . Was this filmed on the new camera then ? Atb Dave

Beautiful scenery as always, Alan. Thanks for taking us along.
No problem and good of you to stop by, something I never take for granted, cheers Alan
It’s nice to see the north east countryside too. Beautiful 🤩 The views stretch for miles 🙂
It’s nice that the weather is getting warmer now & the days are longer. Feels like winter went on for sometime.
Fab video Alan. Thanks for taking us with you on your hike 🥰
Thanks very much for watching and so much in Northumberland I still have to explore, so great the the weather is getting better now, cheers Alan
What a perfect day for a walk. Awesome views and stunning scenery. Thanks for taking us along. 👍👍
Appreciate you stopping by and a real nice day out. Great weather and brilliant scenery and local knowledge from a friend who lives in the area, cheers Alan
What a cool spot! Some epic scenery off that summit. When those birds fly out they definitely test the heart lol.
They gave mine a dam good testing, that's for sure lol. Real nice countryside up there and so quiet, I must get up there again. Good of you to stop by, cheers Alan
Stunning views Alan and the colours are popping with the new camera gear! Thanks for taking us along brother! 🤘🏼
My pleasure! and thank for watching Doug. Yep, first ever film with the new camera, so far it has been real good, so I am hoping that it will stop that way, cheers Alan
You certainly have gorgeous country to hike In. I always enjoy your videos. So beautiful. Thank you!
Thanks for watching, real nice of you and what a wonderful thing to say, appreciate it, cheers Alan
You know I watched all the way to the end Alan 🤗 I don’t want to miss a spot of all that beauty you share over there 🤩
And I couldn’t agree more about the sunshine ☀️…..
Amazing
Thank you very much for watching and taking the time to leave a comment, real good of you and very much appreciated, cheers Alan
I think its very cool that you have the time to make so many nice videos, and Thanks for that .🙂🙂🙂
Appreciate you stopping by and it is so nice to be retired now, so I can take as much time as I want and go out when I want, cheers Alan
Glorious day for a hike!
It sure was, great day, great company and great views, I was real happy. Thanks for stopping by, cheers Alan
Good morning to ya! this video was a great way to start my day out here in California ! what a lovely place! Great work as always my firmed! Cheers!
Thanks for watching Nigel and you will be spot on there mate, maybe a return visit in the Autumn I think, cheers Alan
@@AlanMETALMAN ah we must go back and watch that video! Such an interesting area. Our pleasure as always, take care, Shell and Pete
Great trek Alan - lovely weather for it like 86 with a FV as always
Many thanks, always appreciate it, cheers Alan
Ah wow Alan you had a great sunny day for this. It really did look beautiful and considering it was only a 5 mile circular you seemed to have got lots of footage in. That was brilliant , thank you . Have a great week :)
Thank you for watching and this was the first time out with my new Hero 10 camera, so I was filming quite a lot trying it out. It was brilliant to see the sun as well as the views and it turned out to be such a good day, cheers Alan
What a scenic landscape and a magnificent day for hiking. Thanks for sharing this epic hike.
Glad you enjoyed it and this was heading North for the day, up to Northumberland, nice and quiet, we hardly saw anyone all day. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Świetny materiał, miło się oglądało 😁 pozdrawiam serdecznie !
Thank you so much for watching, real nice of you and I appreciate you dropping a comment too, cheers Alan
Looks like an incrdeibly beautiful day for a hike! The view is phenominal!
Lovely walk and weather!! Perfect hiking temperatures 😃 Cheers
It was just right, not too hot and it was so nice to be first in the car park as well, we did not see anyone for hours. Thanks for stopping by, cheers Alan
Now that's what I call a view! Awesome hike Alan.
me too Jim and I appreciate you stopping by buddy, real good of you, cheers Alan
Hey Alan we are going to watch this together on the big screen later! You are too awesome to watch on the phone/iPad! 👍❤️
Hope you like it and thank you very much :o)
Glorious weather Alan..............love it when there are are very few other people about, good to see and hear the red-grouse too. Reminds me of the North-Yorks moors, cracking hike and nice to see Eddie as well....great day mate......ATB...Stu/Wendy..👍
Thanks Stu, real good of you to watch and I thought I had answered your comment but must have hit cancel instead of reply lol. Real nice up there and nice to be out walking with Eddies again, especially on a day like that, the weather was amazing, cheers Alan
Looked a cracking day out Alan and what perfect weather you had, nice one 👍
It was brilliant, nice nip in the air when we set off and than full sun all day - more of that please! Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
You took the easy route!
I go in from the bottom carpark and just hoof straight up. Going to have a go at this one for the distance next time
It was my first ever visit there so I was a bit unsure exactly where to park but great to have a bit of local knowledge with me, so it turned out to be a brilliant day, I really enjoyed it.
The beacon was a beauty and cracking views 👏
Nice and quiet too, especially as this was during the Easter holidays, magic 🎩
Glad I'm not the only person that sees faces and animals in the rocks 🦅🪨
Eddie put tou through your paces huh, the paths are so important not just for humans, but to help protect the wildlife and stop erosion of habitat too 👍
Wow 430m that snuck up on you guys, fabulous!
Meant to say, yes, this was my first video using the Hero 10, really enjoying it so far :o)
@@AlanMETALMAN fantastic, looked and sounded great throughout 🎬
Fantastic walk! The views are just stunning!
Many thanks, real good of you to watch and leave a comment, very much appreciated, cheers Alan
You take us to such amazing places
Thanks John and a real good days walking I really enjoyed it. Thanks for stopping by buddy, cheers Alan
Love it up there.
I forget sometimes that Northumberland is there for exploring, I have a friend who's from up there originally, I should take advantage of her sometime and her knowledge 😂
Gorgeous weather for it, absolutely belter of a day.

Cracking video of a great day Alan. Next time we should go along to Tosson Hill, ha! Cheers. Eddie.
I got wrong of Mrs Metalman for saying that, she thought it was crude lol! Really enjoyable walk but need to get some height in next for the SAS route marches Ashley has planed lol! Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
@@AlanMETALMAN Ha, yes you're right, we need to be ready for the challenge ahead!
Amazing video and place. So your liking the 10? Stay safe my brother Cheers Mike
Yes, thanks, my first video using the new set up and Hero 10. For far so good, long may it stay like that lol. Thanks very much for stopping by, cheers Alan
New GoPro footage looks spot on mate, brilliant video 😁

Haha I write these comments as I watch and you’ve just mentioned going out with Ashley 😂😂
I love hiking in winter and the snow but your right I think we’re all ready for the sun now !!

It’s a cracking walk isn’t it. Same sort of weather when we did it but we returned through the forest.
The forest was closed due to the storm damage, still, which I going hard to believe until I saw the amount of trees still on the ground. A real nice walk out, thanks for watching, cheers Alan
