    Cant believe more people dont go batchit over these 1340 Evos. Theyre super reliable, low tech bikes and are plenty fast for a heavy bike. Oh well....glad I own one, my 95 FXd is staying for keeps. You did good on this one

      I just got my first evo - a 92 FXDC. From strouds Indiana, shipped to Australia.
      I love this bike more than my 2015 softail with an S&S 110ci

      @@Yousername536 you did well to get it shipped out and that is a good year....they sorted a few finer points by then. Feel free to get in touch. Dave NZ

      The engines are dead reliable but it seems everything else on evo HDs fall apart after 25 years.

    Such a beautiful motorcycle. It looks very well maintained. To me, this era was the top for Harley Davidson.

    You can’t beat a 80” evo with some compression good cam heads… Thunderheader was made for evo sound. Nice bike and build. 💪🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸

    I had some issues with my top end on my 98 decided to hot rod it up a bit. Was going with the EV27 but got my arm twisted to go with the EVL-5005 from comp with some head work and valve train upgrades as well as some CP 9.75 pistons hoping I didn’t go too crazy. Can’t wait to hear the exhaust note and feel the extra passing power.

    I Think that thing sounds fucking awesome and I’ll bet it’s a blast to ride without being too biased for high rpm riding. I would rather be under cammed any day than over cammed. And good head work doesn’t only come in to play at high rpm good head work gives you improved flow at low lift as well as highlift.

    Do you like your s&s ignition? Have a Evo Super Glide and Softail and both need ignition upgrades as the epoxy is leaking out

      We use to use the crane hi4 on all our builds, and never had an issue. S&S bought Crane a few yrs back, and changed it abit, but basically the same thing....we've now installed these in our builds and are having great success with them..S&S has been around for yrs, we use lots of the products and never gad an issue.

    sounds great, out of curiosity about how much would all of those parts and labor come to? I have a 98 FXDL that needs to wake up and would like to know so I can budget for the build. Thanks for the video

    How does the TH bolt up on these evo dynas? Does it just mount off trans or does it mount off cam chest like oe pipes? Thanks!

    • @holeshotengineworks8649
      @holeshotengineworks8649  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bolts up to the transmission, and also has a long bracket that supports the end of the pipe.
