- My saddle was not turned so my hips feel a lot better today! 😂 Turns out my rim tape did have a hole which explains the tire problems I had yesterday. In a situation where your rim tape fails with tubeless, it isn't a situation where you can just put a tube in and everything will be fine since It's very likely that the tube will also fail in the same spot when inflated. I need to get some new rim tape! This is another logistical problem/additional cost when you have multiple wheels with different inner rim width measurements and keeping the right rolls of tape "in stock" in case something happens 😂.

I lived in NYC for like 32 years and never realized how ugly it is. Having lived in China, my perceptions have changed so much. NY is an old city that is just wearing away year after year.
Maybe I was wrong - I can remember these areas back in the 80s, it was nightmare city with decay everywhere. Seems from this video that some streets have been cleaned up a bit.
I feel like there is a variety around the city. There are a lot of streets that are in better shape now than they were when I was a kid in both surface condition and cleanliness, but other areas have definitely suffered. It's like a never ending pulsation of regeneration that always has a staggered and uneven application

The stem/bar has a shim on it that makes it look a little atypical but it's all in order :)
