If you're hiring someone to announce the character, please make sure your candidate is able to pronounce her name right. It's not Carmiya, it's Carmilla. And for the love of god, it's Bram Stoker, not Bram Stroker.
Acting like people don't mispronounce things daily at work and in meetings. A really special snowflake, ain't ya. English is not interesting enough for one to be fluent at it as second language. As long as it is understandable and the message is clear, it is inefficient to improve upon it, since there are much better things to do with your time than that. Such as learning that Carmilla is from Styria and most likely has German or FRENCH as her mother tongue. Ironic, huh?
For the love of god, the American accent is not the only one that exists. There are multiple "correct" pronunciations. If you're aware of Vampire: The Masquerade, or if you're not please look this up, the two correct pronunciations of Camarilla (please note this is not the character's name, observe the spelling. The Camarilla is a faction of vampires)
