you re completely deluded if you think Shuzaku (who's basically Onikage) is easier than Genbu just beacuse of his size. also in Ayame path, Tatsumaru is the final boss while in Rikimaru path, Kagami is the final boss. Tatsumaru is not easy opponent but Kagami has more guard breaking attacks and her health is longer than Tatsumaru.
I think the ambient of the Tenchu 2 to me actually made it very atmospheric. Some level's ambient sound actually made me really nervous and it made me more careful of my surrounding.
I really loved this game, but when I played it for the first time, it always felt oddly empty and I could not put my finger on it at first. Then I realized it was missing a rocking soundtrack during the stages, kind of like what the first game had.
Mary Kay Bergman as Kagami too. She had a pretty reputable voice actor resume back in the 90's until she passed unexpectedly. She was the original mayor in South Park. RIP.

Its relatively easy for an experienced Tenchu player to get all Grand-Master using items like "invisibility cape" and the "teleport leafs" though ... (back in the day i could finish all PS tenchu games with all Grand-Master too) Still you're a very good and skilled player, Thank you for making and uploading this great video of one of the best and most underrated games of PS1
Tenchu was about flashy stealth kills, stalking your pray, problem solving, boss fighting and story.... If they remake Tenchu they can't forget those things otherwise they will end up with something else
You made that boss fight with the tiger look kinda easy. I hate that tiger,lol . probably the hardest boss, that or tatsumaru's last fight against jubei.
Now I can see why in Tenchu 3 and later games they returned to Tenchu 1 style. This one doesn't feel like Tenchu at all. No asian themed music, no hilarious english dubbing... even the gameplay seems weird.
Game controls are just fine. If you cannot get used to them, it means you are a noob. Anyone with a little skill can master any controls, unless they're utterly unresponsive, which is not the case here.

It's a shame Tenchu 2 didn't have much in the way of a soundtrack - the music in T1 added so much atmosphere

Just get grand master in everything. In like each three stages you get grand master you open a special item.
Cheat codes never go wrong with that :)
