that peg on the inside of his dragon chest lines up with the slot just above the hinge joint on his robot chest. he is an awesome figure! great review!
@@peaugh i was wrong it is under the hinge around his crotch area. the hinges that his head is on. there is a barely noticeable slot under the hinge. i posted a pic to your twitter.
Incredible figure. The original version was my holy grail for many years. I have one now, but I'm definitely going to get my hands on this one. Man, I hope eventually they redo Steelbane, I need way more robot dragon Transformers.
Loving the look of this guy ^^ I'd love to see the Transmetal T. Rex Megs too, but I think they did the Autobot T-Wrecks in the same colour scheme, just in case they're not able to get around to it XD
Finally started finding it in Walmart in Ottawa this week. It's so freaking hard to find the good Legacy toys around here. Love this piece. Always wanted a GOOD looking affordable version of this toy.
You know I was debating whether to get him but Thew's glowing recommendation made me want to buy him. As far as I'm concerned he's the best figure released all year!

Just got mine today. Already I don’t like chest piece from beast mode that just hangs off the back. I saw it is screwed in and not pinned so hopefully it is an easy removable.
In Canada he had been listed as releasing on Amazon at the end of September, preordered 3 times the day it went live, the day before it was supposed to release and ordered a third last month, all of them say they should be shipping any day now. Amazon Canada lies.
I really like him, but I have some gripes. I wish he had some chrome. I also wish he had some weathering or a wash. He could be a little bigger. I hate how the flame can't go straight from the dragon mouth for bot mode use. His right arm needs a wrist swivel. I don't like the backpack from the dragon chest, the OG handled that better if I remember right. One hinge could have helped it fold up and be less like a weird cape. Purple shading on all the wing parts would have been good. Also, that tab in the back of the dragon chest part does tab in, it's just a real pain to do it in robot mode. Mine is currently tabbed.

For me, the use of gold plastic is what's killing it on my end
