Come and See the Taylorsville Utah Temple

- The public open house for the Taylorsville Utah Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints begins this week in Taylorsville, Utah.
Invited guests will tour the temple through Friday, April 12. The public open house will run from Saturday, April 13, through Saturday, May 18, 2024, excluding Sundays.
Admission to the public open house is free. Online reservations are recommended.
The Taylorsville Utah Temple will be dedicated by Elder Gerrit W. Gong of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles in two sessions (10:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. MDT) on Sunday, June 2, 2024.

I love to see the Holy Temple. The Sister missionary who taught me the gospel 30 years ago lives close by and the TAYLORSVILLE Temple will be her local temple. I can see her working hard and diligently to further Heavenly Father’s plan inside these sacred walls. We still talk to each other via modern technology and we’ve been waiting here in England for the temple to be dedicated. Thank you dear Sister for bringing the gospel to a man full of pride. Stay on the covenant path everyone 😊
I remember serving my mission in the Utah, Salt Lake City South Mission (2009-2011). Taylorsville was in the mission boundaries at the time, there were 4 temple in the Salt Lake Valley and 3 within the mission boundaries (Jordan River, Draper and Oquirrh Mountain). It is nice to see another temple completed in the valley, then another temple being announced in West Jordan, the work is flourishing in the Salt Lake Valley.
I LOVE the rich darker colors! I'm one that prefers colors to the washed out whites and when I see such deep tones I get so delighted. Wonderful!
Our family was raised in this area and are so thrilled to see this magnificent house of our Lord erected with such a beautiful exterior, interior and backdrop of the mountains. My children can't wait for the open house. We are truly blessed to live in this valley!
We used to go to the church that sat right where the Taylorsville Temple now sits. This. Indeed, is the Lord's true Church in action!
My son and daughter in law also went that church that used to be there.
WOW! its a mix of Pioneer style and Modern style, Love those Stained Glass Windows, Taylorsville can be proud of this Landmark!
Remarkable! ❤ This particular temple has a very "Second Coming" feeling with the rich scarlet colors. 🥰😇
Richer colors feel more alive to me than the variations on white. It's one of the many reasons why I love the Manti temple with all the murals and blue furniture.
Temples are the Lord's beautiful gift to all people to be able to experience his presence and seal us to our families.

Love the temple. Love the song. I think this rendition of the song doesn’t quite match the reverence of a temple, though. The songs on these temple videos have usually been a little softer or slower-paced
I wish I had the money to come visit with my mother and our friend. Our friend is currently working on becoming worthy enough to enter the Atlanta Temple, so this is kind of out of reach.

It was very beautiful!
I chose to slow down and just take in the pictures and each of the details from the furniture, floors, ceilings, and even the small symbols etched into the elevator doors.
In the Sealing room I sat down and remembered the second (2nd) verse of the Hymn, "I Love to See the Temple."
"I love to see the temple.
I’ll go inside someday.
I’ll cov’nant with my Father;
I’ll promise to obey.
For the temple is a holy place Where we are sealed together.
As a child of God, I’ve learned this truth:
'A fam’ly is forever.' "

Nobody in the world is building such incredibly beautiful buildings as the Church is with the Temples. I grew up in Taylorsville, live far away now but hope to come and see the T-ville Temple soon.
No comparison of Temples. Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints Temples are so beautiful. No longer a member but whole heartedly support the Mormon Church.

I was very disappointed with the open house for the Manti Temple, I couldn't ever get an appointment, and people I know with appointments waited in line for several hours, in freezing weather.
Been looking forward to seeing images of the inside of the Taylorsville temple, definitely my personal favorite. ❤️
