The temple is Heavenly. How wonderful it is to be able to see it, in video, and to hear that beautiful rendition of, "Be Still, My Soul". What a peaceful feeling I have, after watching it.
My grandma's family came from Denmark and settled here with 11 sisters! The family ALL sacrificed to help build this temple. Such a beautiful beacon of strength, unity and glory unto the Lord! Later on my family back in Denmark would also help build a large "word house" that would later become a temple under David O McKay... to this day I still have family in construction who help build temples... this is one of my top 2 favorite temples... The Salt Lake City Temple being one of my favorites as well... much of that molding in the Salt Lake temple was done with the help of another side of my family that came to Utah... really lovely feelings come to me when I see these temples renovated and ready in time for the Millennium.
I have some ancestors who came from Denmark and settled in Spring City. My great great grandfather Simon T Beck helped build the Manti Temple and was an ordinance worker there. I feel very blessed to be his great-great-granddaughter.
Isaacs Morley, My third Great Grandfather and leader of the settlers of Manti, stood on Temple Hill with President Brigham Young and Heber C. Kimball when President Young stated "We will build a Temple here."
The Manti temple was the 1st. temple I was privileged to see the inside of. I was age 12 & my parents & I went to be sealed for time & all eternity. I was & still am in awe of our Father's presence in His house.
Went to the open house and saw this beautiful House of the Lord! My great, great grandfather helped build this and I have many family members sealed there. It’s an incredible temple!
I am so touched by this video. I was an ordinance worker for 7 years there. I felt like I was at home with so much beauty and the retained beautiful artwork. Thanks so much!!
I am from the east coast with no pioneer heritage. I had the chance to attend the St. George temple open house and it was amazing to see the beauty in how the first temples were constructed by the early Saints. I left with an immense amount of gratitude for their dedication in building a house of the Lord. I hope to also visit the Manti temple one day
Thank you @churchofjesuschrist for keeping the pioneer relics and Minerva Teichert murals! 🙏🏻 I fasted that the Church would preserve them so I’m especially grateful! I can’t wait to go through this beautiful temple again.
The presentation is uplifting. I never had seen the Solemn Assembly room. How glorious! All of it! I was also very pleased to see that something of Minerva's work remaining. Hosannahs !!
The first time I went through this temple I thought Brigham Young himself might step into the room and conduct the session. It was a palpable sense of and appreciation for those remarkable early saints. This temple is spectacular!
A most memorable experience is going south from Thistle Junction and topping the pass leading toward San Pete county, Fairview, Ephraim and Manti, UT just after dark, and seeing the Manti Temple lit up in the distance, seemingly suspended in the air against the dark mountainside further south!! Mesmerizing, just knowing what temples represent!!
I am a descendant of Canute Peterson. He was the first stake president in Sanpete and was over the building of the Manti temple. I now work in the Manti Temple as an ordinance worker and can’t wait for the Ephraim temple to be completed. I went through and it is breathtaking! There are hundreds there and a big line and it is exciting to see everyone there. It is well worth the travel time and wait.
Never got to do a temple session here. But, I did make it to the Manti Pageant in the early 90's. Thanks for sharing the video. I didn't know how beautiful the interior is.
I was here not so long ago and I felt the spirit so deeply that I can cry every tear of joy. Our savior lives and I know that the gospel is restored. Every single detail of the temple is just on top. I loved the how the architects took their time for the lords house. Thank you for sharing this.
If you live close enough to go, then go and tour the Manti Temple! Bring all of the family members and friends that you can, as it is a memory that will always be precious to every attendee. Power comes from powerful experiences and foolish people take opportunities for granted rather than taking advantage of them. Trim your lamp and stay awake rather sleep through the literal building of the Lord's Kingdom!
The workmanship of the Manti Temple is absolutely beautiful and without any question of highest quality. However, i have to question its purpose - - isit there to impress people with the right purpose? Will Church members be coming to the Temple for their ordinances and proxy ordinances, or to see all the ornate details?
Yes, the Temple is beautiful, it is a house built for God, after all; but the ordinances performed inside are even more beautiful, as well as being eternal!
I wish they at least doubled the duration of the dates of the public tours especially on the older temples. The lines are always sooo long. After getting tickets, getting child care, driving a long distance, having to park very far away and then standing in line for more than an hour and having to leave and not see it. I feel like this is a very common occurrence and should be addressed.
I attended this beautiful sacred temple for years while living near. I miss it. 🙏✨️

I miss the Manti Temple. I am so thankful that the old artwork was kept.
Look forward to seeing the beautiful old circular stairways, wrought by pioneer hands!!
I am glad they kept all the wall murals and historical furniture.

Thanks for sharing!
This is the first temple I ever saw or went into. It was 1973 on a seminary trip. I was a new convert and was excited to be able to do proxy baptisms.
As a Catholic myself im impressed that u manage to keep as much original as possible to keep the vibe of Pioneers who built it in 19th century
We appreciate your comment!

You are the pioneer!
So beautiful! My ancestors were some of the early Manti pioneers; it's wonderful that their temple is still there and so beautifully restored.
This is a majestic building!
Truly a palace to our King!
Thank you for keeping the murals! They are a beautiful reminder of our rich history and tradition.
Yes, I am also very grateful to see something of Minerva's remaining!

Id like to be Sealed Here one day when God blessed me with a husband
So beautiful ! I can’t wait to go! I’m so happy they kept the historical values of this Temple ! Even the Celestial room carpet🤗
Not a fan of that carpet; but everything else was exquisite!
I believe I recognize this wonderful violin music.....beautiful!
Heavenly!
Gorgeous House of the Lord, and beautiful music. Zion is getting brighter by the day. ❤️

I can’t wait to see the renovated Manti Temple! One of the 4 original Utah Temples!
Powerful music. One of my favorite hymns. Be Still My Soul. Fitting music for such a beautiful Temple!

Really unique and beautiful temple!
Incredible!

Absolutely beautiful
It is so beautiful
Beautiful.
Beautiful!
How Very Wonderful
I didn't know it snowed in Utah. 2 things I love, snow and temples! I want to visit one day
It snows in winter and in the summer it's very hot.
Beautiful! some things look better in camera but this is the total opposite. all the colors and shinny art look better in person.
Some of the rooms remind me of the splendor of the white house. Except unlike the white house, the temple is holy.
I love the updates. Absolutely beautiful.
Please make the open house longer! 3 weeks is too short!
So beautiful. Can’t wait to take the tour!
Just stunning!
Amazing ❤

Still live sessions?
No
Is there an elevator in the temple?

There is symbolic teaching in all of it! ❤
