I just wanted to tell you both that I've enjoyed so much watching you in your travels over the years because you're fun, intelligent, attractive, adventuresome people. I can't wait to see what 2025 brings!
Got here yesterday, Sunday, Dec 29, 2024. The first thing I ate was 2 pastéis and a caldo de cana. Delicious! Caldo de cana has it's flavor improved with a little bit of lemon. It is absolutely delicious.
I lived in Brazil in the late eighties. I remember the Pastels as smaller and less varieties (stuff inside). Saudades do Brasil! I love this channel. Hailing from Sandwich, IL. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Nice video. You and your family will be always welcome here in Brazil. Enjoy your time around here. Wish all the best and a great new year. If you ever come down to Floripa let me know. I can show you guys around.
Don't forget to show up early in the morning. By noon, all the good stuff will have been sold and only the rejected produce will be available aka "xepa" (/SHAY-pah/). Xepa time is when things are super cheap, but also of worst quality. This doesn't apply to the pastel and caldo de cana of course. Only to fruits, vegetables and occasionaly meat (mostly fish though).
You act like this is a new gig. Every single weekend someone has a street fair or a Food Fair there in any country. Particularly in a South American country. Nothing new, try something new.
✨⭐👌 Happy New Year Jocelyn and Mark ✨👍⭐👌 Brazil looks amazing 😊
Caldo de Cana and Pastel, I can't wait. I'll be there in 2025. Happy New Year Guys !!!!

I’m going next December via a cruise and cannot wait. I’m spending an extra few days at the end of the cruise to see more of Brazil.❤

You are required to eat a funnel cake at any event like this otherwise you will get fined by the funnel cake Association of America.
I’m good with that.
@ the first fine is $1 million and make sure you eat the cake
Any very old Germans there with fake names??
