Hey sweetheart, now you know Why the entire world is still and always will be remembered forever and this is a Talent like no other artist ever. TCB 1935
He could've charmed a corpse back to life. Swagger on steroids. 👌 "Perfect imperfection" as Da Vinci called it, that accidentally started a revolution. Teenage rebellion was born.
I absolutely love when he opens the 68 special with a combo of trouble and guitar man. He is fabulous doing it plus he gets to show off his guitar skills
I wanted to thank you for your reactions. It warms my heart. From the time I was a little girl and pushing some six decades later an old lady the magic never ended. I can remember as a very young teenager watching and waiting for Elvis to come out live in concert. Now that I look back at my life that was perhaps the most intensely joyous moment I can remember. Nothing, nothing compared to that. I felt so much love that I thought my heart was going to burst and I can still feel that today that very moment. God bless you young man and thank you. I appreciate you.
Elvis was 23 years old at the time he starred in "King Creole" & performed "Trouble." Several great songs & the movie is said to have been Elvis's favorite of the 29 movies & 2 filmed music concerts he did in his career. Dig a bit deeper (or a lot deeper) and you'll find the 700+ songs Elvis recorded in his career. There's a difference in Elvis's voice during the decade (deeper & more full) of the 1960's & he really rocks "Trouble" 10 years later during the Comeback Special of 1968 that was televised: th-cam.com/video/4FkyeO_PRlw/w-d-xo.html
His voice really changed and grew over the years. I wonder if the 2 or 3 shows per night had anything to do with. He was certainly a baritone and would've made a good opera singer.
Watch Love Me Tender live 1970 to see the ultimate ladies man. Men wish they could do what he did. You will never see nothing like it I promise. From a third generation Elvis fan thank you for keeping Elvis alive
This was Elvis's 4th movie and had some great songs and most say it was his best acting performance before he went into the army in 1958 - great reaction x
You've got to see the opening track of this film. Crawfish with Kitty White & Elvis, my favourite tune ever. The boss man is Walter Matthau, incase you don't know of him, fantastic actor (The Odd Couple with Jack Lemmon, funny 60s film)and Carolyn Jones (the original Morticia Addams, beautiful woman). Elvis went into the army shortly after this, they made him go serve for two years because he was making too many waves in society, hip shaking, kids were mixing blacks & whites together. Elvis WAS trouble, for real. He got a lot of hatred from all sides and they wanted to silence him or force him to go away. He was actually a rebel at first, a stirrer and the old guard (Frank Sinatra, Ed Sullivan didn't like him, but he was good for tv ratings) called him unkind things. Which is why I get annoyed now that people ridicule him or lie about him saying shit he didn't say and they can't prove. This is perhaps his best film, out of 31. The fake colonel signed him up for a 3 year contract of corny-horny, mostly formulaic crappy movies which he wasn't happy about after he left the army.... Long story. Anyway, the 1968 Comeback Special was at the end of his film career (he had 1 film left to do) and desperately wanted to get back to music and live performances. Any time Elvis had any artistic freedom, he was pure gold. I hope you watch that soon, he'll blow you away with his humour, voice, rhythm guitar playing and his sheer magnetism. I love Elvis more with every unknown tune I find, and there are 750 of them. If you get the chance to watch the recent Baz Luhrmann film it is 99% accurate, there is alot missing but a real eye opener. Long live the King ❤
Hi there, thanks for another great Elvis video, your stares at the camera during this reaction were priceless. There are two other songs from this movie (King Creole), that showcase Elvis’s abilities. I’m also including the link to show how they used this song in the latest Elvis (2022) movie. See you in the next one. This movie was based on a novel by Harold Robbins called a Stone for Danny Fisher. Good book and good movie❤. And then there’s Elvis ❤❤❤❤
Wow love this from the movie King Creole. React to Crawfish
