Thats a good one! Try black beauty, white tomisol, mortgage lifter. I went from 15 varieties to 5or6 and these made the cut. With cherokee purples.

I love the Brandywines. Family favorite is Aunt Ruby German Green. We had Black Krim tonight. Husband kids and Grandkids loved it. I pick Mortgage Lifters tonight for family dinner this weekend. We live in Michigan. My 11 year old Grand daughter pick sweet 100's today. I think a 1/4 of them made it to the house. She ate the rest lol.

This is the first video I've seen of yours I believe. Man can I relate! Great intentions in the garden, but I have tomatoes laying on the ground right now. The plants have just folded over. As far as being scattered, messy, losing things... I can totally relate. Thanks for this video, it feels good not to be the only scattered person.

You don't' have to go through all that trouble to save seeds. I save mine by simply taking them out of the ripe tomato and placing them on a paper towel. Then I let them dry there before storing them in a shoe box (they stick to the paper towel when they are dry). I also write the name of the variety on the paper towel. Then next season I simply take off the ones I need and sow them!
Not only do they germinate at exactly the same speed as the other seeds, but the seedlings actually look stronger and healthier (and I suspect it's because they have extra "fertiliser" because of the dried gel around the seed.
This is how they germinate in nature. So I just replicate that. No need for elaborate fermentation.
    Try it!

Thank you for a great video. New-ish subscriber here. I love tomatoes. Thanks for all the varieties. If you get more time I would love to see the other varieties. I have to plant that pink jazz and orange jazz they are so pretty. One that is similar that I have planted with the pretty stripes is called vintage wine. And delicious flavor too. I have lots of tomato videos on my channel also. I'm obsessed over tomatoes. Love your videos and your channel. Also your hair is gorgeous.

Thanks for your Tomato variety tour. I love toms and pickles. Onions are fun. I play with okra. My #1 to always grow, or only grow, is mortgage lifter. RELIABLE, never ending, fruits are good. #2, Brandy wines. Delicious. #3 is Burpee Madame Maremades. Some French variety. Silky insides. My #1 on most delicious tomato. Medium to extra large on size. Beefsteak type. I go for meaty, low voids/seed pockets, FLAVOR.

Great video. There is a reason some of us grow the orange and yellow toms. We have acid reflux, and the orange and yellow have less acid. I am guessing less acid would give a milder taste. I want to try growing white variety because I was told really low in acid.

When I was in college we were taught to remove the germination inhibitor on the tomato seeds by gently rubbing them on a screen and rinsing. Your method is great if you don't have much time or a lot of seeds. Thank you for the extremely in depth tour of your tomato varieties. I used to eat a lot more of them before I started reducing my oxalate intake. Cherry tomatoes have the least amount so they are my go-to tomato now.

@honeytrailfarm Hahahahaha! You are just as scatter-brained as I have been my whole life! LOL, hahaha. That story of your picking up "organized chaos" and losing things is absolutely funny because I thought I was the only one. By chance, you're not an Aries? LOL. Your video on tomatoes is amazing, as are all of your gardening videos. I really appreciate you sharing your knowledge and, most importantly, your passion for absolutely everything you do. Reminds me of my grandparents and their love of growing, harvesting, preserving. My goal and eventual plan is for my wife and to do something similar but on a smaller scale in the foothills of NC. Please continue to produce great videos like this one. Thank you.

You know I've done this for a long time and it seems to work and it's super easy I don't know why but it works for me I always take my tomato seeds wash them off under a sink through a strainer and then I'll plop them down on a white piece of paper and let them dry and write on the paper what they are and put them in a big envelope and when you get ready to plant them, just pop one off, put it in the dirt , and I don't know why, but it works, . I just thought I would share that with you 😊

I’m dying to have the Persimmon and the Black Sea Man. Everyone from the north always asks me John, what is this tomato sandwich you talk about, lol! You are a very unique, interesting, funny lady. You make me die laughing, I could watch your humor all day, so funny you are. Anyway, so I make them the famous tomato sandwich. But i put the Farm Cheese, Honey Smoked Bacon, with Alfalfa Spouts, lettuce and some homemade Mayo. So I’m new to your channel. My Grandma always had fresh garden grown tomatoes with Mayo on the table and of course the sliced tomatoes were all eaten. But she made a killer Mayo, my question is, have you ever made the famous sandwich, with fried squash bloom, for the extra crispy crunch with the famous sandwich. What is or do you have an advanced fresh herb Mayo you make? I know you have secrete recipe to share with the wholes world, lol! I know country tomato girl when I see one. Reveal the recipe. You Most Share Your Hidden Secretes To The Whole World Now, 🙏😇! Please Do This One Thing Of All Your Knowledge. I Have To Know These Thing You Hide??? Do you make your own bacon too as well? No really, we have the original, of all the famous smoke house in all the worlds. The thing is still standing after all these years, we played in the top attic when I was a kid and would smell like sugar and salt cured ham. I really miss the aroma of it being smoked. Dad is ninety one young. You would absolutely love to listen to him talk about all these things. Plus he has a degree in Entomology from Clemson. He could tell you all the secrete you need! He can walk and find more Insects, to have more or less of, In five feet. I Love Tomatoes! Please don’t stop, you are so funny, even my X loves the almighty Tomato Sandwich now. She is from WV and didn’t know what this was. Grandma would make the best vegetable soup from all the splitters to have vegetable soup in the winter months. She put whatever she had in them really but is good and I like okra, corn and running beans in hers or what ever she had. I still love boiled Okra, so good.

In a jar put fresh seeds and fill half full of water and close lid and give it a 20 second shaking. Three or a few hours later shake again and repeat several hours later. Then next day early shake well then 1 minutes you gently pour out the water and any seeds floating.Any clean and healthy seeds will be in the bottom 5 percent of the water pour the bottom water and seeds into a fine strainer.
Finally get a well sanded board and spread seeds and separate as they will stick together and harder to separate after drying. They should dry in half the time and easier to remove from wood then any paper system as most people do.
Use the wood board once and tell others.
Our favorite slicer based on being tasty or at the tasty near top and productive and start early season. The choice tomato that is going to be 90 percent of my slicers is Black Krim.
. Midnight Snack is our favorite salad and it's almost everyone's favorite and neighbors will come asking.
    Question?
Just what is your favorite salsa tomato please base on flavor and also productive as space is limited in our garden .
Thornburg terracotta is definitely my favorite in salad
    Thanks
    Thanks
