Tobb, I have watched many vids on making bottle openers but yours tops them all. Simple and elegant. Thanks for sharing. Made a few for friends based on your vid and everybody loves them!

This was too cool! I like your take on the bottle opener. I've recently taken an interest in blacksmithing, and I want to make things that are functional and beautiful at the same time like this. If it works and aint pretty, then so what?!
Yeah, use my material if you like. I would be curious to see how hot metal goes with some of my stuff. You have beautiful videos man. Regards BBKCjr. ;)

Very nice and very original. I wish I knew how to do videos so I could share my version, does yours leave the bottle cap intact without bending it up? My wife collects caps so they cannot be marred.
so two questions: if i dont have an anvil with a hardy hole and stuff (using a 8 inch peice of freight train track) is there a way to make rivets without all the jigs and such or do you actually need those for such a task, and if my eyes serve is the brass/copper sheeting in the vise so the teeth dont gouge the metal or is it for stabability purposes of both sincerely Erod "jarn haglkorn" de isle
Hey BBKCjr! Once you come in contact with forging, you becomes in love :) There is magic to shape the hot iron, and it can be used for so much beautiful. I love your interpretations of the classic songs, would like to use any of them in my forged videos :)? KEEP WELL. Tobbe
