@Vince Leyva the moves are the same but each character gives them a personal distinctive flair. Also their supers, v triggers, and v skills are no where near the same. Note also that Ken does not have donkey kick.
@Vince Leyva Street Fighter 2 Ryu and Ken had quite literally the exact same moveset, and the only difference was Ken's back throw animation having better corner carry SF5 Ryu and Ken play very differently, and their moves are VERY different. Different supers, different normals, VS and VT, and the specials are really only the same in name; the only one which is visibly similar is the Hadoken because it's quite literally just a projectile
minor buff as well but his EX DP is now invincible all the way through its active frames where before it had a very weirdly low amount of invincibility frames
SFV really did a great job in making each shotos feel like it's own character, SFIV maybe start but is V that perfected that, all shotos feel so more distinct to each other than ever before. Ken been the perfect example of emphasis on flashy and stylish skills.
Ken is one of my favorite characters in any game but I really didnt click with him back at launch but I've really enjoyed playing him since I came back to SFV last year. Love these new changes
I think it's more likely all the online flowchart Karin players will move to flowchart Ken. (The "you better know the punishes on all of Karin's special enders" crowd.)
Pretty decent. I'd say given the fact ken's vt is 3 bars cancelling into v skill is quite expensive though. Think it should be a 1/3'rd of a bar instead of half.
Ken sure has come a long way from having literally the same moveset as ryu
Now Ken is a braindead rushdown version of Ryu
@@flamingpaper7751 have you tried to play ken to better understand the character or are you going by ignorant preconceptions about the character?

@Vince Leyva by your logic Ryu, Ken, Akuma, Kage, and Sakura are all the same character

Yo Baf just wanna say you're doing the community a great service
really small community lol
.
so glad I found Baf's channel. His channel is a hidden gem
Ken has always been one of the most characters in sfv, and his V system is a huge part of that. I personally love this ken
ken really has to be one of the characters of all time imo
Ken is such a character in the game man
Well said
I like that's he's one of the most characters in the game
@@stormx8475 if you're looking for a character, ken is probably one of the characters for that

Idk I feel like ken has felt pretty different since super turbo to me. I do agree that ken is pretty wildly different in this game.

Run Ken will forever be my favorite thing in SFV
Ken is so sick now, cant wait for you to cover kage
Even with all the improvements gameplay wise they still never fixed his face.
they probably decided to sacrifice SF5 face and put it for the SF6 face
if Ken doesn't have a good face in SF6, Capcom will never be forgiven!
@@Bluzlbee they turned him into a depressed Terry Bogard
Ken finally feels like ken and im all for it 🔥🔥
King of SFV updates, thank you Baf
Seems VT1+VS2 Ken will be quite the go-to for me.
ken my beloved
Seems like lots of Karin players will be moving to Ken, we can expect lots of footsies Ken instead of flowchart Ken
I think it's more likely all the online flowchart Karin players will move to flowchart Ken.

Baf these are awesome, please do the whole roster
Just when I thought Ryu became the cooler shoto the devs gave Ken those VS2 combos
Pretty decent. I'd say given the fact ken's vt is 3 bars cancelling into v skill is quite expensive though. Think it should be a 1/3'rd of a bar instead of half.
I wish Lucia's run was as good as Ken's now.
IMO ken is definitely the strongest shoto
So VS2 is to be paired with VT1 now? Interesting. What can VS1 do during VT1? Did I just see frame trap stuffs with VS1?
Vs1 vt1 gets ex fireball to vskill as a guaranteed mixup. Ken can do any combo of vskill and vtrigger and make it work now
For the last combo, after shinryuken why he didn't light tatsu dp and canceled with ca?
I was just showing a timing of super that wouldn't have worked before but works now. I should have done it in a juggle where only super works I guess.
brazil kens approve
Dhalsim got nerfed so bad
Maractus
Why they buff ken man....
Tl;dw
Take the throw from Ken. It’s not worth getting hit.
Until you realize his backthrow puts you in the corner from almost anywhere on screen.
"Take the throw"
Ken Cena: *"Are you sure about that?"*
Lol lol
Hit confirm? >Shoryuken
Opponent far away? >Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku
Opponent blocking? >Back throw
In vt1? >HadoukenSeiyaaHadoukenSeiyaaShoryuken
