It’s sad that a lot of drivers in Oz are disappointed with the T610SAR, it looks like a sharp wagon. However nothing is like things used to be. A lot of manufacturers over here in North America are down to just 2 or 3 models, a highway truck (maybe long hood a short) and a severe duty truck. A lot of us over here don’t like the hood scoops on the W990-the T610 shows that there are air filter cans that will fit; again a sharp truck overall with some disappointing details. I’m kinda glad I’m retired; loved the job and was with a good company, but too much was changing in the business; the last 3 years I was in a Cascadia, a comfortable and good running truck with the Detroit DD15, but no personality, just a basic fleet truck. At least it was a manual-10 speed; hated the auto shifts in Internationals and Sterlings. OK I’m done griping, thanks for the vid!
Egr's Are the biggest pieces of junk ever brought into the industry. Its all designed to make the owner have minimal profit. They run hot as hell. E5 fan hardly ever comes on.
Just jumped put of a 409 sar after 5 years and into one of these... Wow.. What a dissapointment. Luckily i can get m sar back. The bonnet squeeks, the bunk rattles n squeeks doors are flimsy and leak air, engin noise is rediculas in the cab, head light fell out at 5000 km....ooooh the auto drops into angel gear when coasting at 100kph...what the f...? All in all this things a bucket of s..t and couldnt hold a candle to the 409 and 609s. By the way the 610 has 59,000 on the clock....

We all at work didn’t want to give up our old kenworths with real engines “cat cumins” but we all thought at least we getting new kenworths as we have 6 not bad looking 409’s Eaton autos and daf mx13 motors that was my expectation from these new trucks watching them roll into the yard We were so disappointed, the cab looks like shit!! Then I noticed the interior was not the traditional Kenworth trim design we all fort to take the last 409 in the yard. Did Kenworth buy daf or daf buy Kenworth. they were the elite truck to buy now they are a daf! Nothing individual about these trucks no pride driving them I’m not sure if I Evan want to wash it just euro disposable rubbish. I can’t see the interior being durable seen it befor new truck after a year nothing works on it! Hopefully the daf holds up If I hang around to drive it!
STATIC_KEKO it’s the Euro 5 that makes the difference. Most EGR engines fitted with a DPF have additional muffling, whereas due to the adblue used in the E5, it burns cleaner and doesn’t utilize additional muffling.

The only difference is that in Aussie, X15 has No EGR No VGT turbo, uses a "Wastegate" turbo Uses only one SCR muffler filter, the same used in North America between 2007 and 2010 ISX engines. Those engine sounded loud until 2011 they started using three filters inside two mufflers. DPF, DOC & SCR North America X15 sounds quite because of the VGT Turbo and Three mufflers filters, DPF, DOC and SCR The EGR & DEF system does not affect the engine sound, its the muffler filters and turbo
steering box ratio is hopeless , steering is horrible , automated ones are a down time nightmare with its under developed management system , the drone in the cab is distracting and annoying , if you have to get one do your good drivers a favour and buy them with a stick , this salesmen is talking shit

Is the T610 only available in Australia? So far the only videos of seen of this truck are in Australia.
