This was a great review! As a result of his informative video, I have decided to build my castle only 60 feet (18.28 M) tall with the hopes that my phone can withstand a fall during an invasion.
LOL. The history lesson, music, visuals, your irrational disappointment about the product surviving 100 foot drop...... Are you auditioning for a tv role, comedy spot, or what?
I noticed the suit jacket and spiffy outfit and thought to myself, "This dude sure knows how to spice up a drop test". I burst out laughing when you announced that you came to this castle to drop your phone off the top, and then did a pan out of the castle.
I think if Queen Cersei saw this review while watching TH-cam from the Red Keep, she would find that very practical. I think I’ll get one! Awesome review and funny.
I ordered this case today for my iPhone XR and iPhone SE, this is my first time getting it, I remember in the iPhone 5 days that everyone had this case, but Spigen cases aren’t made for drop protection, they’re made to show off your Apple Logo and phone color, all they really offer is scratch protection, and that’s only for the back because it doesn’t have a screen protector
I’ve used a Spigen Tough Armour case on my Apple Watch for a couple of years and am very pleased with it even though until now I have not known how to pronounce the name! Based on this review I am thinking about getting one of these for a iPhone 12 initially as a temporary measure until the full range of cases becomes available and they can figure out what is happening with MagSafe. As an aside, I love your setting, during the pandemic when someone is being interviewed from home on the TV news I have become more interested in the room they are in than what they are actually saying. Is the furniture IKEA or Smallbone, is everything piled up in a heap or do we have artfully arranged and relevant books on display, we even try to figure out which room in the house is doing temporary office duty or if it is clearly purpose built. There’s one bloke from Cambridge (I think) who gets regularly interviewed about scientific and medical matters who seems to have a fully kitted out home recording studio. If nothing else it has made myself and my wife slightly paranoid about how our colleagues are judging us in Teams meetings.
i like the sturdiness of this case and considering getting it, but the metal slate doesn't seem grip friendly, but rather slippery - true or not? The sides don't have extra grip either. I wonder why!
I've had these cases on my last 2 Samsung Galaxy phones, and they have protected them from damage after dropping them many times, and with that in mind I have just ordered one for my brand new Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Here's hoping it protects this phone as well as the others...
nice video, love the comedy, editing, history lesson etc....while giving us a good review of what to expect with this case. Nice to have something different out there rather than all the cookie cutter reviews!
Definitely agree with you, I use there cases on my Samsung Phones and I will say they provide an adequate protection for the price and I do think the case design wise is aesthetic and also offers good grip in my hands. It does have a raised edge to offer some protection to the screen but this is NOT A OTTERBOX I Think i offers a Medium level of Protection
Have u by any chance dropped your phone on a hard surface like a stone pavement? I recently smashed my phone screen and needed to get a proper protective case that would withstand quite a hit on any hard surface
Ferris wheel is like 30 feet. More likely it would survive. It also depends if it’s your carnival coming to your town picks dirt to place their equipment on..which more likely does.Dirt of course is more softer than concrete.. no brainer. I have a spigen and I love it.
Great location! Beautiful! I wish they would replace the roof with craftsmen skilled in ancient building skills after researching what the roof used to look like. I would like to have it dropped onto a Playboy-like model with appropriate attire - more real life type usage!
The thing is... How much protection that case adds compared to a rugged armor, slim armor, liquid, etc. Does the extra bulkness really works? Or they are almost all the same? Almost. I mean: if it adds a 0.01℅ of protection but I have everyday disadvantages (weight, size)... Probably it is not a smart choice. Can I read somewhere some datas about protection?
Good video I have been looking for this kind of test. Hope the Note 10 Plus version fares as well. If it will protect the phone in a 5 ft. drop onto concrete I will be very happy. I guess I will find out soon.... this video gives me some hope.
Drop from castle should also have mobile with cover. As I am not interested in knowing if cover is gonna damaged but if my phone will damage with this case.
@amrashraf9559 we actually tested the poetic cases. The same drop test, and they performed even better! Phone remained in shape with only a small crack, so poetic hands down!
please test x-doria defense lux, there are no videos of it on youtube except for sponsored ones with no drop tests. only xdoria's channel has drop test and it't too short and doesn't look very convincing
My friend, Spigen says drop tested. But they never said that the phone screen never cracked or that the phone was unscathed. This makes me doubt their claim. They could have drop tested the case without a phone. Their claim, thus, is questionable. I asked them for a video of this claim an they said they had none. I have a Spigen case. But now I have my doubts. I am afraid now that I, and many people, may have been misled into a false sense of security.
You didn’t watch the video did you.... I dropped it from normal height and it survived, I then dropped it from 100ft, and it didn’t smash the screen. (Bent the phone though). Watch videos before commenting, my friend. Ps. Not your friend.
both those ideas at the end are not realistic. i'd like to see what it does down a flight of concrete stairs, using the slinky test. or slid down a road's hill, real things that might happen. i was also expecting that thing to fall down that area at the bottom you didn't have access to.
It would've done way better than spigen the only thing that's wrong with rhinoshie is their prices🙈 have to say tho they are worth every penny I guess that's the funny thing about them
I mean in the same camera shot. You changed the scene so the mobile could be replaced. I'm not saying you did it, but It could be a better testing showing the mobile directly. Edit: Min. 3:23 you could go closer to the camera, and show a first face the mobile. Anyway, thanks alot for the testing drop.

Dude this was the weirdest case review ever
I’m going to take that as a good thing.
I loved it 😂
Thanks heather! 😁👌

hahahah too funny!!
Not bad.

LOL. The history lesson, music, visuals, your irrational disappointment about the product surviving 100 foot drop...... Are you auditioning for a tv role, comedy spot, or what?
That’s the ultimate plan 😜! Hope you enjoyed it!
Stu’s Reviews For the very same reason, I hit subscribe very quickly. You sir, are a breath of fresh air.
You would be irrational if you trashed an iPhone too.
OMG does anyone else think of Top Gear when you watch this chap? I love Top Gear and this guy!!!!
That is so true
"The phone is no longer a straight line" 🤣🤣🤣
This review is so extremely British, I love it! Subbed.
Welcome to the Country Club! 🥃

looking for a review on the case and end up with some dramatic history/review love it
Thanks Chelsea 😂👍
I just wanted to watch a case review, instead, I’ve found a creator that I’m definitely subscribing to. This was great.
Couldn't care less if the case gets damaged...aslong as it protects the phone.
True true.
hahaha that was not the point
You probably get that a lot and I don't know if it's intentional or not, but you speak a lot like Jeremy Clarkson :D The voice and the way you talk.
the best.....phone case......in the world.
Was just thinking about that
He’s just English sounds really not like him
Now THAT is how you do a drop test.
This video combined 2 things I like: history and tech xD
Very good, you have my subscription
Glad you liked it! More coming soon!!
This is what you call a great case review!

Spigen slim and tough armor are wellprotected and design is also awesome
Hundred foot castle drops.
Absolute game changer.

Looool the best phone case crashtest ever!!
I even love the Laphroaig whiskey in the back of the office:-))))
And the test is good.
Well spotted sir! It’s my fav 👍
i like the sturdiness of this case and considering getting it, but the metal slate doesn't seem grip friendly, but rather slippery - true or not? The sides don't have extra grip either. I wonder why!
Tough armor case user here, the grip on the case seems perfectly fine for me. I used the tough armor case for two of my phones
never had a problem with it
You earned a sub. You have a unique way of reviewing and it’s awesome 👌🏽😂

Awesome video! That was a good shout with Bronllys Castle!
My vote for the next test is to use the pistol
I enjoyed this review
that bounce was incredible
Great video! You also have a marvelous taste in whisky.
I just saw your content for 2 minutes and it’s 👍 keep going
The phone was bent but did the glass break?
Awesome video!
Love the video!
this is a brilliant video
One of the funniest reviews ever. 🤣😂
I tought it was a review, I wasn't expecting for a Netflix documentary. I loved it tho.

You should drop the next one from the top of a Ferris wheel or rollercoaster 😂😂
*adds Ferris wheel to list*

I’ll make a note to add more playboy-like models for a more ‘life like’ test 😂👍
heart attack starts at 2:30

5 stars for originality! "Oh dear“ lmao
This is a great vid from someone with it many subs
I see Laphroaig and I trust Stu
the phone has some character now.

do u think is better than the reventon one?
Nice review
For some reason Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear comes to my mind when i hear your voice.
Do you know of any cases that do survive the castle test?
Poetic did 👍
In your drop test you destroyed the castle good job :)
Go hard or go home 💪
I accidentally drop a s 7 edge on a slim armour on a 5 floors dropped! when I run down to check no damages nothing thanks Spigen
a m a z i n g review. Thanks!
This is the first vid of his and I love him
Drop from castle should also have mobile with cover. As I am not interested in knowing if cover is gonna damaged but if my phone will damage with this case.
Castle drops!! They cant do that in the good ol USA!
Hahaha love your vids Stu, sorry about your phone 😟
I will you take my opinion on how to test the next case 👍
I wasn't too see it dropped face down. That's the only thing I'm worried about
U did great test
love your methods of checking the quality :D
So should we get it?
Yes
With a 100 foot tall drop, I was expecting for it to shatter into hundreds of pieces, even with the Spigen case.
Very true... all things considered, it did alright!
@StusReviewsUK how do you rate the poetic cases compared to the subcases ?
@amrashraf9559 we actually tested the poetic cases. The same drop test, and they performed even better! Phone remained in shape with only a small crack, so poetic hands down!
I have the Spigen Tough Armor on my phone now... and my kickstand doesn't work :(
😢 what happened?
@@StusReviewsUK came out again and I don't know how to put it back in

That was my case in my iphone 7 plus!
What about side lips?
I see raised edges on top n btm only

I’m afraid I do go a bit OTT on my ‘extreme tests’... you should see my latest video 🤔
Spend a few moments with someone going through menopause, then test the case.
you little run looks like Mr. Bean.. so cute.. 🤣 🤣 🤣 anyway.. good review
Can u please do a test on the galaxy s7 edge wiv this case on
2:41 I actually cried
Me too....
My stomach actually scrunched up lol and and I had involuntarily said 'ohhh mann' lol
I Wonder how RhinoShield cases would have done with that drop
It would've done way better than spigen the only thing that's wrong with rhinoshie is their prices🙈 have to say tho they are worth every penny I guess that's the funny thing about them
is that iphone 8 or 7 plus?
7 plus
Spigen Tough Armor or Supcase Unicorn Beetle?
_Is iPhone bendable?_
*Yes!*
1978 called...they want their giant microphone back.
They can’t have it. I’m using it.
Ah mate that Laphroaig behind you... I have to get me one bottle lol
Gotta love laphroaig!
Rip phone... I would like to see the pistol:)
I’m watching this vid with that case but with a pop socket lol exact same color
Can u jump holding the phone 🤣
No... but your mum can 🤣
Stu’s Reviews 🤣😂
Spigen's rugged armour is better than Slim armour.
the rugged armor is the best, drop it from 30 feet, still ok.
Love itttt
I love this review lmao
I'm getting TooGear vibes
10/10
you shold have droped it several times, 10 or 20 times instead of top of castle, nobody does that .. but thanks for the review
I regret looking at the comments... all I hear now is Jeremy Clarkson's voice :D
He reminds me of gerimy Clarkson
Who tf is gerimy clarkson
@@cucaracha6365 I think he meant Jeremy, not "Gerimy"
hahahahah best humor ever, now that's a real british
Why did not you show the phone after the drop directly to the camera? WTF
But I did? Did you even watch this video?
I mean in the same camera shot. You changed the scene so the mobile could be replaced. I'm not saying you did it, but It could be a better testing showing the mobile directly.
Edit: Min. 3:23 you could go closer to the camera, and show a first face the mobile.
Anyway, thanks alot for the testing drop.
Test one of those repudiated fragile phones made of glass like the popular Motor 6.
And the phone did not crack
Jeremy Clarkson?
And on that bombshell
