It's just to show if a case saves a phone from 50 feet it will save the phone in its everyday use. What's there not to get?
Well working in the construction and tan hung field I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been up a ladder, scaffold, or tractor lift and dropped my phone, either out of my hands or it slid after I had to set it down. So very helpful to know that these cases hold up to 50ft though I’m normally only like 20 ft up or so.

PITAKA I like my 2 pitaka cases but the durability is a problem for me. I would not expect the case to survive a 50 foot drop and that’s ok with me but when I go outdoors I worry about dropping my phone in the pitaka case just from a 2 or 3 feet drop. I would like to see this case dropped from more reasonable heights say 3 or 4 feet. The one main issue I have with pitaka cases is there is no lip to protect the screen when playing your phone face down on a table. I know pitaka is constantly pushing strong aramid fibres but I would like to see some more drop tests. Let’s put this aramid fibre to the test...

@@zomitkv5782 I swear by UAG cases. I used one for 4 years on my Galaxy S7, and that one survived so many drops, it's not even funny. I had to replace the phone last week because the charger port was worn out badly. Aesthetically, the S7 still looks new, save for a few (3) small scratches.
Anyway, I got my new Galaxy S10 this week and needless to say, I went looking for the latest offering by UAG and got a great deal on it too.
30 bucks for the crimson red Monarch. Score!

I’m using the monarch Series from UAG. And you are right, it is one of the strongest cases ever. This guy at my school knocked my phone out of my hand so hard without a screen protector and It survived. I don’t regret buying this case I won’t ever change it, but if I will, I’ll get another monarch series cause it’s so strong and protective

So, my whole family ONLY trusts Otterbox. My mother drops her phone at least 6 times a day. It has not a single scratch on it. Same with my dad, who is a construction worker. I recommend the Otterbox Defender and a nice screen protector. 👌🏽
