Assuming that Valka carries her mother's blood (hence her mild clairvoyant abilities) then that might be why Eivor sensed a connection. Not to Valka, but to Valka's specific Isu blood passed on by her mother. Just a guess.
What if Eivor and Hilsr track the vault, Hildr wants to take the new body and gets her ass whooped by Eivor, by disvovering all this Basim gets to know where this vault is and this body so he can give Aletheia a new body. So the 2 of them can pursue their next goal.
What bothers me a lot about these random quests with lore and Pieces of Eden is that Eivor has a fish memory. She always reacts as if everything was new, and doesn't even comment about the artifact found by her and Gull years ago in Norway (Song of Glory comic book), which by the way have an extreme visual resemblance to this so-called Odin's Eye... The way Valhalla's universe has been built, with game, DLCs, lore, book and comic book sounds like Ubisoft team is completely lost, and each one is inventing their own parallel reality with facts and canons. But who am I, right? Let's wait for the next chapters of this alphabet soup.
I mentioned this in another comment, but it's very likely due to the open-ended story structure the new RPG ACs have taken. Dialogue about specific lore could be written with clarity if this content were gated behind proper story checks (like Bioware's Citadel or Trespasser DLCs, for example). But because you can find out Eivor is Odin either somewhere mid-story through the Asguard/Animus Glitch quests or at the end of the main plot, the writers have built themselves into an complex corner. They either have to write & record alternative dialogue for a pre/post Odin reveal, or write the dialogue (and Eivor) to be so vague as to not have the game spoil itself. It's clear they've chosen the latter, much the chagrin of us lore-enthusiast fans lol.

I started to think "mmmh the sci-fi is becoming magic" with the reincarnations of the aesir gods when compared to Aita (being able to reincarnate only once, all together in the same moment after thousands of years), but this new key, in isu lore, really doesn't make any sense, I am glad I am not the only one disappointed by that

However, due to their superiority to humans, cults like the Order of the Ancients started to vilify them and in AC lore, the ideas of the mythological gods are meant to allude to the ISU. The human-told tales, legends, and mythology has just become far more fantastical than what the actual world of the ISU was. So things like Eivor's dream world of Asgard make sense because she is seeing Asgard through her interpretation of Norse Mythology. The reality would look much more like the Helix glitch sequences you find throughout England that Loki had left behind. SOOoooo, a random character falling out of the sky as if she were a, "Valkyrie falling from the heavens," makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE in the lore of Assassin's Creed and the ISU. If she appeared in one of Eivor's dream sequences, that'd be a completely different circumstance, but she didn't. Not only did she fall out of the sky in the 'real world,' but she also fell far too close to Raventhorpe for there to be so little damage. I was done the moment I saw her kneeling there, absolutely fine. It was absurd.

I've just ended my struggle with achieving all golden medals, and tbh I thought that she will praise me for them, or explain more about Odyn's eye, but saddly, nothing happend
I could see this Isu artifact being some kind of memory disk Odin leaves for himself to confirm his identity before the vault could be opened/the eye being obtained. Since all of this is happening in Eivor's mind, perhaps the disk is interfacing with & validating Odin's identity through the challenges. That said, I totally agree that "Energy" is a silly way to encapsulate all of that. It's clear that this DLC is straddling the same lines that WoTD did in terms of main story progression; it would have been really appropriate to acknowledge the Eivor-Odin connection here, assuming the player is far enough in the story. That's the consequence of this RPG-driven format and I wish Ubisoft would own that instead of shirking the creative responsibility of that decision. Either record alternate dialogue for both before & after the reveal, or gate-off the content until it is relevant, imo. My biggest complaint about this update is the meteor itself. Did the Isu build an orbital meteor cannon with a countdown timer? I can't help but wonder if the narrative team spent more than five seconds thinking about that beyond the Rule of Cool. Perhaps that's little unfair... it just wouldn't be the first time such an obvious plot hole would find its way into an AC game. Beyond the lack of Isu theming in the vault, what kind of weird everlasting frost and fire is that inside? It looks magical without any other technological source. Also noticed the symbols surrounding the Odin's Eye seem a bit different than those that normally manifest around a PoE. Any thoughts if there's an intentional reason why?
Well, the way i see it, the "Magical" stuff we see, is just Eivor's mind trying to make sense of what she sees based on her own cultural heritage... we're not seeing reality, but a memory filtered out by the animus, hence why it looks magical to us, because Eivor considered it as such.
Also, i think the devs are trying to have fun with the free DLCs. Trying to tie stuff in with the lore somehow, but still not muzzle themselves and just do crazy shit just cause it's cool... which, to be fair, is something i find quite fun myself. Though, i must admit that i'm one of the few out there who plays game to have fun and just loves Holy shit moments. XD

I don't know how you got this from the video, never said he punished anyone with the 7th method, hildr isn't a confirmed reincarnation, she could be immortal and walking around the earth as a human with less isu DNA ever since she fell from Odin's favor. She could have been one to survive the catastrophe. Her armor could be the key to her getting her isu DNA back or whatever it is she lost. Nobody questions Reda lol, kinda the same with this, just this is more connected to an actual storyline. Don't forget, we are in the animus as well, so other machinations could be at play
It seems Ubi didn’t learn anything from Dr. Crawford as they casually called the seeress Volüspa. And they didn’t also care to check whether the story they were making was compliant with the lore. They implemented the formula “Mythology sells more” and basically made the already convoluted story even more complicated. The main story ending was acceptable, but this is getting out of hand.
I seriously hope they give us to a new set of armor based on Freya. I feel like this is something that Hildiran was hinting at. That would be really nice but Ubisoft needs to make it a different armor and Not a Frickin Reskin!! That's all I'm saying. Excuse thee outburst!
PRO tip if anyone have problem to get gold in odins mine wolf trail If you cannot hit enaugh vulnerable points just run away from enemy after hit that point till you completly vanish, when you return he will has full hp and new vulnerable point Regarding headshots there is 28 enemies and we have to get all 28 headshots, so count because this stupid npcs often killing themselves. When you realize there is 26 or 27 enemies just restart trail

I feel you read the documents backwards. I think it goes left to right like most languages are read so Ice, Roots then Fire before the entrance. Which makes more sense as am actual story. Sets the location "Valhalla and Freyja's Field", Players "6 names", Plot "Turned from her master" and finish "Was expelled and made mortal"
@@AccessAnimus they might be connected to the pieces of Eden left inside that people may have built shrines around. We still don't know everything at the sage who came first in the saga pages. Whoever left the pieces may have seen meteors hitting these areas by reading the calculations and placed important objects there
What if the room was made after the catastrophe that would explain freyja making the vault cause some isu actually survived the catastrophe but then died out
The disc item seems to work like an AR device, adding overlay on the world. Which to me, explained why wood statues and stone doors are glowing. (they aren't actually glowing, the disc "AR" effect is adding a glow to them in Eivor's vision.) Which means a lot more could be fake AR; the lava/ice/leaf gates, the eye of odin, even hildiran herself could all be fake AR stuff.
It could also be the other way around, we are seeing more than what eivor is seeing, because we technically aren't eivor, but reliving memories through the animus, which if we learned from the anomalies, can often be meddled with

Hi, I just wondered what was your opinion about a possible Svartfalheim dlc ? It seems, according to J0nathan that there are many files about this realm in the game data.
What if the energy that is meant to fill the medallion/key is Odin's and not Eivor's? That would explain why certain methods such as the whole mastery challenge meditation are there, and why we have to go inside the soul/mind.

6 runes likely means 6 more mastery challenge sets, with the runes replacing the statues Then I predict that will unlock the location of Odins vault, containing an Isu armour that she will beat eivor to, and attempt to kill eivor while wearing it as revenge against odin

Ubisoft really messed it up when the first three gold medals was already unlocked after the meeting with Hildiran but the earned battle energy and master energy didn't transfer. Nor did I get 'All that glitters' trophy on my ps5 playthrough. So if I am cut out because of Ubisoft I will be really angry.

It's very weird that the meteor has crashed right on the isu vault... I always have the same theory from the begining that Fenrir is in space or at least that there's an isu mothership in space at Eivor's era who sent that meteor. Maybe Fenrir gets bored in space and wants to defeat Eivor/Odin, so he sent her the meteor 🙃

Hi guys over at accses the animuns I dunno of you will read this but tbh I think you and jo-rapters highpophasis could both be correct as there where 5 ruins and Need 5 pecies af armour to make a set but I think rather than arch opening an entire world vut maybe thwy open areanas like the mastery challanges which you have to complete to unlock a set price of armour being more challenging than the mastery challanges there will be 3 arches in each of the the runed caves are after completing the challanges and getting the armour pexies the lady forgot her name will take them and become the boss ypu fight at the start but being way stronger and harder to delete when you.finosh her you get the armour for yourself and it will give you O.P and awaken odin within you giving you specific magic powers and practically invincible in England Ireland ext but if they make youtenhiem:hellheim as dlc you won't be as O.P but need them to survive in these relms as if you.try to enter without them it's a 1 hit kill they say there continuing the content for 2 years so this is my thoughts on how they can do this if this makes sense l....? Or a boss for challange so bear wolf and ravern under each archway in each tomb....

Access The Animus in the druids dlc in the fight with Balor in the cutscene balor call’s eivor fjolnir which was freya’s son in Norse Mythology and I can’t believe I’m the only person who realized that
The extension to this DLC will be very cookie cutter. 1. Meet up with Hildiran to start looking for the vault. 2. Points to a portal, portal is broken, will need to collect parts around England to fix the portal. 3. Go through portal, small new map with Odin's vault. 4. Go up mountain with Eivor being clueless while Hildiran talks about being superior. 5. Gets into vault via collecting 3-5 vault keys throughout the map. 6. Hildiran gets her armor, immediately attacks Eivor as a means of revenge on Odin. 7. Defeat Hildiran, get her armor. No meaningful stats. 8. Come back to Ravensthorpe, still as clueless about the Isu as the beginning of the game.
this only makes me afraid that at the end the DLC to continue this side story isnt going to be free so everyone that wishes to know whats next would have to purchace yet another DLC

@@jflamen also, it's not optional. It's added to the game in an update. You don't have a choice to not have the quest or the characters in your game. Sure, you don't have to play it, but they completely ruin the lore of the game by putting Hildr in the game the way they did. It's just lazy writing and ruins the immersion of the story they were trying to tell, not to mention the entire Assassin's Creed universe. The spirit bears at Ostara festival were bad enough. This is just ignoring their own lore. It's stupid. It's just further evidence that Assassin's Creed doesn't take itself seriously anymore.

Yes, it's more likely they're just using the Isu as a subterfuge to bring magic and fantasy to the game. In fact, this is pretty obvious.

I feel you read the documents backwards. I think it goes left to right like most languages are read so Ice, Roots then Fire before the entrance. Which makes more sense as am actual story. Sets the location "Valhalla and Freyja's Field", Players "6 names", Plot "Turned from her master" and finish "Was expelled and made mortal"

@@AccessAnimus they might be connected to the pieces of Eden left inside that people may have built shrines around. We still don't know everything at the sage who came first in the saga pages. Whoever left the pieces may have seen meteors hitting these areas by reading the calculations and placed important objects there

What if the room was made after the catastrophe that would explain freyja making the vault cause some isu actually survived the catastrophe but then died out
The disc item seems to work like an AR device, adding overlay on the world. Which to me, explained why wood statues and stone doors are glowing. (they aren't actually glowing, the disc "AR" effect is adding a glow to them in Eivor's vision.) Which means a lot more could be fake AR; the lava/ice/leaf gates, the eye of odin, even hildiran herself could all be fake AR stuff.

It could also be the other way around, we are seeing more than what eivor is seeing, because we technically aren't eivor, but reliving memories through the animus, which if we learned from the anomalies, can often be meddled with

It's worth noting that the armor she is wearing in the initial fight is comparable to the Valkyrie dlc armor. Particularly the helmet.

What if the energy that is meant to fill the medallion/key is Odin's and not Eivor's? That would explain why certain methods such as the whole mastery challenge meditation are there, and why we have to go inside the soul/mind.

6 runes likely means 6 more mastery challenge sets, with the runes replacing the statues
Then I predict that will unlock the location of Odins vault, containing an Isu armour that she will beat eivor to, and attempt to kill eivor while wearing it as revenge against odin
Way to not think at all and just post the first thing that comes in your head, you can't possibly expect to predict what will happen at the end

As of now players that have gotten all gold medals haven't obtained new dialogues or story...

Ubisoft really messed it up when the first three gold medals was already unlocked after the meeting with Hildiran but the earned battle energy and master energy didn't transfer. Nor did I get 'All that glitters' trophy on my ps5 playthrough. So if I am cut out because of Ubisoft I will be really angry.
@@snuttanuttan I noticed that I received a few of the medals a while after ending the challenge ( moving to another shrine)...maybe it's a bug but it sorted itself out for me🤷🏻♂️

It's very weird that the meteor has crashed right on the isu vault... I always have the same theory from the begining that Fenrir is in space or at least that there's an isu mothership in space at Eivor's era who sent that meteor.
Maybe Fenrir gets bored in space and wants to defeat Eivor/Odin, so he sent her the meteor 🙃

You should look at the new video of youtuber jonathan,muspheilheim is not the next dlc but the dwarf realm (well after the siege of Paris of course),it's already in the game files.
Could be separate dlcs, or maybe all in one like how we got Asgard and Jotunheim in the Odin sections of the game

Hi guys over at accses the animuns I dunno of you will read this but tbh I think you and jo-rapters highpophasis could both be correct as there where 5 ruins and Need 5 pecies af armour to make a set but I think rather than arch opening an entire world vut maybe thwy open areanas like the mastery challanges which you have to complete to unlock a set price of armour being more challenging than the mastery challanges there will be 3 arches in each of the the runed caves are after completing the challanges and getting the armour pexies the lady forgot her name will take them and become the boss ypu fight at the start but being way stronger and harder to delete when you.finosh her you get the armour for yourself and it will give you O.P and awaken odin within you giving you specific magic powers and practically invincible in England Ireland ext but if they make youtenhiem:hellheim as dlc you won't be as O.P but need them to survive in these relms as if you.try to enter without them it's a 1 hit kill they say there continuing the content for 2 years so this is my thoughts on how they can do this if this makes sense l....?

Access The Animus in the druids dlc in the fight with Balor in the cutscene balor call’s eivor fjolnir which was freya’s son in Norse Mythology and I can’t believe I’m the only person who realized that
Never heard that but in Havamal Odin names Flojnir as one of his many, many.....MANY names.
The extension to this DLC will be very cookie cutter.
1. Meet up with Hildiran to start looking for the vault.
2. Points to a portal, portal is broken, will need to collect parts around England to fix the portal.
3. Go through portal, small new map with Odin's vault.
4. Go up mountain with Eivor being clueless while Hildiran talks about being superior.
5. Gets into vault via collecting 3-5 vault keys throughout the map.
6. Hildiran gets her armor, immediately attacks Eivor as a means of revenge on Odin.
7. Defeat Hildiran, get her armor. No meaningful stats.
8. Come back to Ravensthorpe, still as clueless about the Isu as the beginning of the game.
So odins eye story is just concluded after we handed over it to hildyr and that is it,stupid open ending or introduction to the ragnarok DLC?!
this only makes me afraid that at the end the DLC to continue this side story isnt going to be free so everyone that wishes to know whats next would have to purchace yet another DLC

@@jflamen also, it's not optional. It's added to the game in an update. You don't have a choice to not have the quest or the characters in your game. Sure, you don't have to play it, but they completely ruin the lore of the game by putting Hildr in the game the way they did. It's just lazy writing and ruins the immersion of the story they were trying to tell, not to mention the entire Assassin's Creed universe. The spirit bears at Ostara festival were bad enough. This is just ignoring their own lore. It's stupid. It's just further evidence that Assassin's Creed doesn't take itself seriously anymore.

It’s a very poor update as this is not Repayable if you have all the gold medals 🏅 and because you put a lot of effort into it just to open the door for an eye 👁 it’s embarrassing I was very disappointed with it now I see why people don’t want to play the game anymore, just please for once in your life just give us new game plus
