When you arrive in sea world this is the first coaster you will see. It looks slow and tame from the outside and almost you’ll believe it’s a kids ride but then you get on it and you suddenly realize how fast and wild it is! The weirdest feeling is when you go down basically laying on your back up the track!
That part is so crazy when you don’t expect it, I freaked out because I didn’t know where to put my head when I rode Superman ultimate flight at six flags great America, they have the same weird loop part, it’s called a pretzel loop
This is the very first roller coaster I've ever ridden. I was 12 and I rode with my big sister, dad, and grandpa. I was scared to ride at first, my family pretty much forcing me on, but thankfully dad had the sense to put me in a middle seat. My heart pounded as we got to the station and didn't stop until we cleared the lift hill and the train flew down the track and into the pretzel loop. I screamed the entire way through, but not in fear. We got to the station, disembarked, and left the ride. My mom asked what I thought of it and I asked to go again. Everyone just laughed and I ended up riding it another 3 times that day, along with riding all the other coasters there. It's because of this ride that I'm now a bit of an enthusiast. However, B&M flyers will always hold special place in my heart. It's a good thing that I have access to one at my home park.
I highly recommend to ride this ride! It is super fun even the corkscrew was just right. I’m scared of roller coasters but this one gave me a good feeling and adrenaline boost highly recommend
@@GojirafanShowa Thanks for letting me know. That's good that the restraints do that, but hopefully it's not a painful staple. I worry about the restraint set up now after being painfully stapled on Skyrush at Hersheypark.
@@sportsygirl8 This ride has nothing to do with Skyrush. Completely different company and restraint type. Skyrush is famous for the most painful and uncomfortable restraints in the world. Nothing is like that. This ride is perfectly comfy.

for any of you that are coaster chickens like me, or if you are afraid of the stomach drop feeling, etc: the first “drop” (0:48) LITERALLY should not be considered a drop. it twists which in my opinion completely gets rid of the stomach drop feeling, i felt N O T H I N G bad!! the only time i felt it pretty badly was the pretzel loop. (0:59) that’s the only part you should prepare yourself for. heyyy guys ! so i’m coming back now after i’ve actually done this ride a TON of times and the tbh the only reason i felt a bad stomach drop during the pretzel loop the first time is because i was being such a weenie (it was my first time doing it)😭😭 i don’t feel anything anymore it just depends on how you feel about it in my opinion. you can do it!!! it ends up being so much fun :)
Today my first time trying Manta . I’m scared of roller coaster in my whole life. Don’t like the feeling of the drop or the speed…. But this ride … joy and laugh through half of the ride. Go try yourself , you won’t regret it 🥰
Don’t worry whoever sees this comment it is actually very enjoyable…you will have a ver fast heartbeat if you’re nervous but just get on the ride because it’s is amazing and if you don’t you’ll regret it
@@vnmmmmyou don’t need to be scared on this one. Ride the front row you don’t feel the speed. All you feel is just the folding up of the coaster. That’s how smooth it is.

One of my favorite coaster at SeaWorld this was my first ever roller coaster that ever been on because of Major Brain surgery I was not sure that could ride roller coasters but after checking with my doctor and getting clearance I accepted the be brave challenge and went on my first roller coaster
@@TwentyHz thanks I been fare more intense rides before going a roller coaster there ride at local fare once it reaches top speed the g force pens you against the wall of ride then ride my local fun park where it goes spins in 360 then upside down at 60 feet in the air I was a little scared at first but got over that quickly my Major brain surgery was done on May 5th in 08
The G's genuinely surprised me on one specific part where you essentially front flip loop at the beginning of this coaster. Much better than anticipated.
TL DR This is hands down the best roller coaster I've ever been on. And I've been on a lot. Not a major coaster enthusiast...but I've been to Disney a dozen times, Universal a few, Hershey Park 30 or 40 times(I live close), and Dorney Park, Busch Gardens, and Knoebels once each. Last time in Orlando we did Sea World for the first time and I was late to getting tickets so I didn't get to swim with the dolphins like the rest of my fam did. So I went on this coaster over 10 times while I waited for my fam. It was drizzle raining and there was literally no line. I got off, went around and got right back on again. Over and over. Got to know the employees working the lines and rides. It was awesome. The one lady employee told me to try the back after she noticed I was in the front 4 or 5 times in a row. The back was definitely the best! More G's. Anyway, sorry for the ramble. Ride this ride if you ever have the chance!
I was sooo mad I went and it was down for mechanical repairs told us it would be down the rest of the day. Well towards the end of the night I’m coming back from Kraken and what do I hear roaring by with a train full of passengers? Manta! Ran to the entrance only to be met with the last rider of the day sign already up.
My one gripe about this ride is that you're still in the flying position while idle at the final break run. I wish they would tilt you back to the sitting position for that.
We went on a school fieldtrip to Seaworld this week, and this was the first ride I went on with my group. (we were split into groups of 5 with a chaperone) This ride was so fun to the point where we went twice! This is a great ride, and I really recommend it
Same! It was SO fun! We had a field trip in May to SeaWorld and it was honestly SOO fun! Especially since you get to be around ur friends and on rides, before we left sea world I reallyyyy wanted to go 9n manta but at the sake time I was too afraid but then I was like you know what fine I'll do it, and the w9rst part was that 2 of my friends didn't want to go on so then it was just me and almirah so I felt really scared knowing I'm going on it for the first time with only 1 person I know that is my friend. But I definitely enjoyed it, best ride I've ever been on so far definitely. After the first time I felt soo proud of myself for doing it at the point they leaned us down at first getting in the seat scared the hell out of me that I was like nooo I wanna get off i cant , it was soo uncomfortable at first layer d9wn on stomach but eventually I got used to it a little, I hate the ending where we had to just sit there when the ride was over f9r a few minutes, the button of my foot in the back was a little sore from the metal race thing cuzz how tight I helped on the ride when we twisted upside down those few times. This was definitely a great experience for me, I'll never forget this day ❤
i absolutely loved that ride was kinda scary at first when it was going up then dropped off and your dlying the bit was uncomfortable was the loop like a forward loop then after that was great flyong over the water ❤❤❤
This ride is intense!! First time I rode it I definitely underestimated it’s intensity when I first walked into the park and it looked very slow and quiet but I promise you when I got off of that ride I wanted to vomit. Definitely a very intense ride the first time you ride it.
Just went on this for the first time today! I was reeeeally nervous about the pretzel loop cause I saw someone on another vid say it was terrifying. For those wondering, the pretzel loop is less “scary” and more just confusing imo (as in it feels weird because you go from face-first on your stomach to lying flat on your back to back onto your stomach). The only part that was actually scary for me was going up the lift hill on my stomach with nothing under me. But by halfway through the ride I had my arms up and when I got off, since the day was almost over and there were only a couple other ppl there, I immediately turned around and got back on. And it’s SUPER comfortable too, you don’t feel like you have to brace yourself for “OWWW” every time you get to a loop XD
@@karakates9264 I think most people think so lol when I went on it the second time I was next to a mom and her teen son and when we got to the top the son was like “OH SHIT WE’RE GOING FACE FIRST” but then he ended up really enjoying it lol! Really good ride but feel it's over too quickly, the first loop is weird because you can't quite make out what's going on because your are upside down and pointing away from the direction your travelling plus on the inside of the loop which makes the ride different from others, just wish they added more track to make it longer, great ride and an absolute must for anyone visiting the park.

I went to sea world recently and manta was the one coaster I really wanted to go on, so much that I said it was the first we had to go on and that I wasn't leaving until we went, I ended up not being able to go on it because when we got there the wait was too long, then later we had to leave the park because of weather so I only got to go on mako and icebreaker, which where ok rides (mako kinda sucked bc of the trim breaks in the middle of it and icebreaker was kinda meh, wasn't that thrilling for me)

Interesting how Manta's pretzel loop is right during the beginning of the ride, while Tatsu's is right near the end.
My guess is that they want to put the momentum from the drop into the pretzel in order to make it more forceful
Tatsu’s loop is already quite intense, it would probably be too intense if it was at the beginning of the ride

Sea world has some of the best attractions in Orlando with 3 top tier coasters
The loop ripped the spirit out of my body and slammed it back in like being hit by a train, other than that its pretty smooth
I rode this today it was amazing and I rode kraken it was my fav out of all the rollar coasters at sea world

It’s not as bad as you think. You don’t feel the speed. The only thing you feel is the folding up and the pretzel loop
I went to sea world recently and manta was the one coaster I really wanted to go on, so much that I said it was the first we had to go on and that I wasn't leaving until we went, I ended up not being able to go on it because when we got there the wait was too long, then later we had to leave the park because of weather so I only got to go on mako and icebreaker, which where ok rides (mako kinda sucked bc of the trim breaks in the middle of it and icebreaker was kinda meh, wasn't that thrilling for me)
