I feel like having a sea world location in the middle of the desert is kind of ironic, but the coaster looks fun.
It is rode it twice
Not just ironic, but considering that it's supposed to be about conservation, when you think about the amount of resources it would take to build, fill with water, populate with fish, and air condition the park in a desert, it's actually the antithesis of everything the company claims to stand for. Show's they're literally only in it for the money, environment and animal welfare be damned.

You might want to look at a map. It’s a coastal city. Not a middle of the desert town

It's Abu Dhabi. They've got the dollars and can do what they want.
Wow! Just wow! I've seen a lot of these POV coaster videos, but few to none rise to this level of excitement.
Doesn't sealife need, you know, water? They couldn't paint part of the surrounding area to not look like a dried up area and build a bit of theme perhaps?
Anyone who knows SeaWorld's history, knows that the parks have been on life support in the public eye for DECADES due to animal rights activism. So instead of making animal shows and aquariums the cornerstone, it's now blue/green/purple "sea themed" rides. That's why they're dropping "arctic" and "wave" themed roller coasters on concrete with a themed car and calling it a day. They don't HAVE the means to do anything further like build over pools or make fountains and effects. THAT money goes to more profitable parks like Busch, where SeaWorld is "blue roller coasters" with minimal animal/water integration.
Sea World didn't pay for any of this, they basically built it on a license, so it was up to the developer how much they wanted to spend. Similar to Tokyo Disney how Disney Sea and California Adventure were built at the same time, but Disney Sea was awesome and DCA sucked lol@@Blast2224
This park actually has the biggest marine aquarium in the world. The theming in this park and the scale is top notch. Disney and Universal quality. Our mind was blown! The coaster is the only thing that is located outside, and to be honest, when riding it it feels and looks amazing. Many coasters in the world are located on concrete or grass, so we 100% appreciate the themed element because they add a lot to the ride experiences with their many near misses.

This is an extremely well paced roller coaster. I've been on it and it's amazing what it can do for the size.
The ride itself looks amazing. The desert optics would take me out of the illusion. Turn this into an indoor ride with the appropriate setting and this could easily best in the best coaster category.
Amazing ride but they definitely saved money designing the outside part!
Great layout, but something about a water themed ride in the middle of the desert with fish tank decorations mixed in just doesn't work for me :P I understand they did the best they could, just hope they add more to the theming.
Good news. Inside this building is one of the most impressive themed theme parks we EVER visited. And to be honest: the ride experience is amazing! It does not translate well on image. In many parks coasters are located on grass or concrete because that’s the natural environment of the park. Dubai is a desert, so that’s why it’s a desert outside. The themed elements add a lot to the ride experience because of their near misses. Great coaster and beyond spectacular park. World class 👏

Suuuure is....Parking lot coasters are known for having rockwork, multiple tunnels, pre launch nautical theming and outside theming throughout its course....
@@overbankedyou can barely call it theming, they just added a few rocks and called it a day
@@wowzeree6789 There is a considerable amount of theming throughout that course. It sure looks alot more themed than something like Pantheon. I've been on a few parking lot coasters (like Scream). That isn't one....

I feel like this ride loses all of the character of the original manta roller coaster, the waving in in out of rocks and going over actual manta ray exhibits, I understand there are still some rocks on this coaster, but It feels out of place in the middle of the desert, It just lacks the intricate theming found one the coasters in some of the other parks
your hate points are stupid, just jealous we have a triple launch intamin 1.2km layout and you don't 😛😛
@@fadbob_I have none of those in my country, but i’ve tried manta at orlando, there is no point of comparison as rollercoasters because they are way too different. But in scenery it can be compared, and a blue rollercoaster with fake waves in the middle of the dessert between rocks it looks fake and terrible lol wether the other one looks fine.

I never noticed that Abu Dhabi has a SeaWorld amusement park more than California has one.
Probably because Abu Dhabi's just opened last year.
They should’ve submersed the supports in a water pool and had spray fountains.

The Indrivetech LSM are a dead giveaway that it's an Intamin. This ride is pretty much what I wish Cheetah Hunt was.
Cute. But nothing compared to the Orlando version where you ride horizontally. And without the massive drops and hangtimes, it's also no Mako.
