BNSF1995 It is not great to run engines this large tender first. Also 2472 is known to have a bearing problem I believe when it is running backwards at high speeds and also the visibility sucks. The diesel is actually a bonus because riders get to see 2 different types of technology of the same vintage. All and all it works pretty well.

I always wondered why they have a diesel at the end of the train when 2472 runs to Niles. Surely, she can run tender-first?
