Big name groups I loved were Good Charlotte, Simple Plan, New Found Glory, P!nk, All American Rejects, Linkin Park, Yellowcard, Avril Levine, Bowling for Soup, plus so many others... But this is 100% bringing me back to hanging out freshman year of high school LOL
Man, this was hard to watch which is sad because I still love this song. Joel and Benji look so much like my cousin Dustin whom we lost last June to COVID. God, that hurt.
Saw them for my first concert ever in 2002 when i was 12. My sister took me to see them play the stadium at San Jose State after this album came out with Eve6 and Goldfinger touring with them. I'll never forget how epic it was.
I was 19 when this album dropped...16-17 when their self-titled debut album released. Benji and Joel used to host a midnight video countdown on MTV. Yeah, I remember music videos actually being on MTV! Check out "Prayers" and "40 Oz. Dream" - two songs from their more recent albums of the past 5ish years. Also, GC had an appearance at the end of "Not Another Teen Movie". ;-)
Ash has some great songs and videos (Burn Baby Burn, World Domination, Kung Fu) but they can be hard to search - their name is obviously pre-search engine; you mostly get Pokemon or Evil Dead results...
I never got into this kind music, but the song "Welcome To The Black Parade" by My Chemical Romance was pretty fuckin' awesome. AND the song "Knights Of Cydonia" by Muse rocks.
This band hardcore took the west coast vibes of hispanic/cholo culture and successfully sold it to the Midwest white teens. It was especially bad for the white girls.
BROOOO You paused at least 50 fucking times in this song..... I get pausing on occasion but this is ridiculous. You missed half the shit they were saying!! LISTEN.
Bruh, im STILL rockin out to this song... My music taste still lives in the mid 2000s haha

Shake it once, that's fine
Shake it twice, that's okay
